Shroomiesan I got the manga from Sano, just as good as the anime just a bit different at parts. I think its more complicated than the anime. Then again it was produced by GAINAX so its kind of to be expected. As for Lucky Star and K-on, there more laid backed humor. Lucky Star makes a lot of references to anime and manga. K-on is about some people who keep a club going and become good friends though music. Oh, I fogot to tell you. I found out the name of that anime I told you about before school let out about the guy in a band trying to become famous. It's called BECK. You may or may not like it, I'm not sure. I think it's decent and my friend Justin LOVES it. So you should check it out.

unchanging i recently finished watching basilisk. <3
it was a great anime, though it was very explicit.
What is basilisk about? I've seen it a few time around the internet and have never really taken the tie to watch it.

basilisk is about two ninja clans, the koga and the iga, who are fighting each other to the death to determine the next shogun of japan. it has a tragic ending, and lots of violence, nudity, as well as rather disturbing scenes in between. amidst all this chaos, there's still space to see bits of traditional japanese culture and romance squeezed in.

I'll have to check it out. And yes, Kishimoto is working on a spin off. The first isuue is supposed to be released the 31st of this month. I personally can't wait. Oh, and Kakashi was also with Naruto's dad, Minato.

Right, for those of you seeking new anime or manga I suggest to thy Ga-rei.(anime was released after the manga and is a background story rather than following the manga.)
If you like blood, violence, action, and humor that seems odd compare to the story. Then Ga-rei is for you(anime is called Ga-rei:Zero).
I'm lazy so here are the copy/paste summary of both
Ga-rei manga summary from onemanga: While many of us will probably scream at even the thought of a ghost being near us, Freshman Nimura Kensuke just thinks of it as a common everyday thing, seeing as how he has the uncanny ability to see so many of them on a daily basis. Things soon heat up for him when he meets a girl who changes his life from then on. Her name's Kagura, and she has the power to summon a mighty "spirit devourer"-otherwise known as a "Ga-rei"-called Byakuei. So, what's Nimura to do? Chase down the evil spirits and and have Kagura summon the Ga-rei to devour them, of course! Now, come feast on their adventures like some ravenous Ga-rei!
Ga-rei:Zero summary from animeseason: The Japanese Ministry of Defense has an anti-paranormal special forces group called the Supernatural Disaster Prevention Agency. They're the ones responsible to protect Japanese soil and its people from supernatural and paranormal events. However, things didn't go so well in one of their missions, which leads to intervention by the Ministry of Enviroment's Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division after the SDPA has sustained large numbers of casualties battling demons.
That might be a bit to much info, but hey I really like this series.

and it's nice to know who to thank for bringing such a creature into existence. c:

Yeah, he was. And you don't have to read it to understand the spin off. chances are the only thing involving characters and event will be the Great War that happened whil Kakashi was a kid.
