Enjoying my last summer with food. For once college starts, I'll be a starving student.

A small note. I... HATE... Japanese culture. A lot. The hordes upon hordes of screaming, jabbering fangirls melding Japanese with English (Example: Zack-san, you're such a baka) only amplify this hatred by a hundredfold. I am telling you this as a warning; if I offend you in any way with my ranting about the idiotic, Communist Japanese culture, please bear in mind that I don't mean any ill will toward anybody.

mm, I'll keep that in mind. The fangirls, yes, are annoying.
But it's not necessarily fair to us kind, omusubi and spam eating folk who have no control over the hordes of "OMG, leik, kawaii!" lack of term, 'wannabes'.
There's nothing wrong with the culture itself. I absolutely love my family and enjoy the heritage in which I was raised.
But I do see where you're annoyance stems from.

...Well, I guess I came off a bit harsh. The CULTURE, I suppose, is fine. I do hate the terrible "Honor System" in which a man brings eternal shame to his family by getting fired or making a stupid mistake. The most trivial things push this system into action, and the Japanese suicide rate is INSANE. Not Galigar insane, just plain-out INSANE.

That made me chuckle. 3nodding But absolutely you're right in that sense. The "Honor System" is ridiculous. But it is so embedded throughout history, it's just almost impossible to get rid of.
Every culture has tweaks; ranging from cannibalism to Britney Spears, I think everyone can do some spring cleaning.
