Tibarn ignored Vaida. He'd gotten good that that.

The music finally came to an end as Ayra took her place, and Ganon shifted in his seat, putting his violin in his lap with one claw on the strings, to keep it from making any noise. He offered little Amara a warm smile and gestured to her with his tail that she should take her seat with her mother, and then he swung his head around to offer Blossom a smile of her own.

The Hawk King's breath was caught in his throat for a long moment as Ayra approached. She was... beautiful. He stepped forward to face her in front of the altar, murmuring under his breath, "You... look stunning, hon." His lips twisted into a nervous smile as he stared into her eyes, and then he twitched an ear and turned a bit to face the excitable priestess.

All of Sue's thoughts vanished when she saw Ayra, dressed in white walk across the aisle as if she were an actress walking across the stage in a debut. She'd never seen anyone get married before. It must have been magical. Instead of lamenting on how this might never happen, because right now it was unlikely, she smiled. Tears pooled in her eyes, tears of joy.

I hope yours and Vah's lives are happy. I really do.

Victoria looked on to, wishing the couple the blessings of Elmine. She knew that Serra was... boastful and loud, but she was doing everything right so far. She was proud to see her religion's traditions being carried on in Eyris.

She was proud too of the Hawk King, for overcoming the guilt of being one of the 'evil ones'. It was great to see someone move on. Lingering thoughts were true killers. She kind of envied the both of them... finding what was truly important. Of course, one day, she'd find the same.

Arashe was dragged away quickly and quietly by the Bishop, to a pew across the aisle. Quickly regaining his balance, he slid into a seat, pulling Victoria down with him. Looking at her with a half of a smile, he managed to chuckle and get out a few words as things began to calm down.

"Thanks, Sister. That madwoman would have killed me..."

"Don't mention it." Victoria whispered. "Especially now... it's started." the bishop was ever attentive, especially to what Serra would say.

Sleep was something Sophia couldn’t wait to get once this was all over and done with. While she had been a natural at helping with the planning, that didn’t mean it had been an easy task. The party yesterday was probably one she shouldn’t have attended, as it cut severely into her sleep time, as she had to wake up early to prepare. Her job for the time being was done, and she could finally watch the proceedings as a normal guest would.

The front by now was visibly quite crowded and it would be rude to sit up there this late into the ceremony anyway. Not wanting to be a disturbance and noticing that Ephraim was already seated in the back, Sophia figured it best to join him and that’s exactly what she did. Taking a seat next to the lord, she let out a sigh of relief as she let her clip board fall into her lap.

It was all so exciting! A wedding. A real, real wedding, and someone asked her to preside over it! It really was quite the honor. After all, they had to be glad that she didn't have any other services on her plate! To have the noble Serra attend, let alone head a ceremony, really was quite the feat for those two. Ah, but alas! She had such a nice heart that she couldn't just leave them high and dry when they'd mentioned that they were looking for someone.

She cleared her throat when the bride arrived, and smiled as she began to speak.

"I know, isn't she gorgeous? I love the hair and-- oh!" Suddenly remembering why she was there and getting away from the fact that Ayra looked pretty stunning in that dress (it was her idea, after all, to get that little pin!), Serra snapped into as professional a mood as she could muster.

"So, you all have come here today to see the marriage of Tibby and his honey-bun, Ayra. True marriage is... um... oh, right! The uniting of two souls together, forever and ever. We are here to bear witness to the entry into a closer relationship of husband and wife between these friends who are already one in spirit."

Her grin was happy, at best. Overbearing, at worst.

"So, you two lovebirds are now taking into your care and keeping the happiness of the most special person in all the world you love best! You are adding to your lives and agree to share strength, responsibilities, and love with each other. Isn't it wonderful?"

There was a squeal that she fought to suppress as she kept going on.

"At the end of this ceremony you will legally be husband and wife, but you still have to decide each and every day that you want to be married. But that shouldn't be a problem for you two. Make that decision and keep making it, for the most important thing in life is to love and be loved. May you always need one another, not so much to fill the emptiness as to help each other know your fullness."

She stopped to wipe her brow. This was hard stuff!

"May you embrace one another, but not encircle each other. It's creepy. May you succeed in all important ways with each other, and not fail in the little graces! That's just... bad. Look for things to praise, often say I love you, and take no notice of small faults. They happen to the best of us."

She stopped her reminiscing to continue. Maybe she shouldn't have tried to memorize it all? Too late, now.

"May you have happiness and may you find it in making one another happy. 'Cause happiness is good. May you have love, and may you find it in loving one another! And not in another person's arms, please. Divorces are nasty."

Over the line? ...Naaah.

"Tibarn, I ask you today, will you stand by Ayra, care for her, hold her in the highest regard and die with this love you have for her untarnished in your heart? Say 'I do', and mean it, or I'll kick you in the shins."

Amelia smiled and nodded once to Sue, watching her take her own seat. She was relieved as Amara came out, and watched the little girl delicately spread the flowerpetals about. Amelia could almost swear that she could see her concentrating, like it was important that each side got the exact same amount of petals, and the blonde General couldn't help but chuckle. She was a good kid.

When Ayra finally came out, Amelia smiled softly and shifted just a little to the side. The stage was all hers now. Vaida was someone she could ignore; she wasn't important right now. The rites that Serra was reciting, this ceremony that proved the Hawk King and swordmaster's love for one another... that was important.

Blossom brushed her hair from her face. Boy, Ayra really did look pretty in that dress. Very different from the stuff she usually wore, especially since she mostly recalled her from her shouting at Fefga's after finding out that her husband had been darkened. She still didn't remember very much of her own battle at Eyris, just locking swords with Abel for a while before flying through the air, feeling some rather sharp, strong blows all over, and then nothing until she woke up on the ground, dazed and exhausted. She decided it was better that way, focusing on the wedding after giving Ganon a small wave and grin, trying not to steal the attention away from Tibarn or Ayra.

Ah, it was starting now. Lance was getting a bit more anxious. He had been to weddings before, but most of those were more like distant memories that seemed more like dreams than recollections of the past. So it felt like some fantasy coming true.

However, King Tibarn, as Finny had referred to him as, didn't seem to have a lot of people on his side. The majority of the attendees to the wedding was sitting on Ayra's side. Maybe he left more women heartbroken. Lance didn't really know. However, this this few people on this side, it wouldn't matter where he'd sit, right? So if so, he could move further forward and maybe have some company instead of sitting alone at the back.

Turning his eyes forward, he checked the other people on this side. What caught his eyes were three women in particular. On the same row as him sat a cyan-haired woman. Lance couldn't quite put his finger to it, but something about her was very familiar. Her scent, maybe. Or the way her eyes glimmered. It was just like that of a dragon's. Considering he, technically, was a creation of draconic magic, he was afraid of what would happen if he'd try to strike up conversation with her.

On the front row sat a blue-haired woman. She had a very strong...aura, about her. It was scary, even. It was like she was screaming "Maternal" all over. That, and her attire was similar to that of Finny's. A knight then. Lance shuddered at the thought of that. He didn't want to get arrested for having conversation.

So the last woman, or rather girl, was more in the middle. He almost didn't see her at first, but he saw her turn around earlier, and saw that she had an aloof attitude to her. At least, her almost blank expression said so. Considering her height, she was probably very young too. That was the perfect 'victim', so to speak. This girl would be easy to fool into believing he was more awesome that he actually was.

Smiling to himself, Lance released the tension from his limbs as he carefully crouched down under the stairs. Beginning to slither across the ground like a snake, he quite quickly managed to make his way forward towards the somewhat oblivious looking girl. Rising up again of her left side, he took seat next to her, putting on his coolest face he could (with his scar facing the opposite direction, of course).

"This is quite exciting, isn't it? I'm Lance, I've never quite been at a wedding before." Lance spoke up as he smiled to the girl. Though, now, on closer inspection, he had a nagging feeling he had met her before...

Another familiar face was in Serra, the priestess, though by Lance's earlier luck, she probably didn't know him either. It was annoying when people didn't seem to remember him for some reason.

He muffled a laugh with his hand, then whispered again to the girl next to him. "Heh, that was entertaining, wasn't it? Always a blast around that girl, eh?"

On the other hand...

Finn rubbed his head, and while his modesty couldn't let him glare at the woman, he felt a strong desire to punch her in the face. Though, that would be very unsightly, and no matter how foul, she was still a woman, Finn merely grabbed Leaf and moved further away from the woman, now focusing on the bride that had walked down the aisle and was now standing up there.

...while trying to keep quiet and not laugh at the pink haired priestess. They sure had different standards here in Learania...well, at least Prince Leaf seemed to enjoy it, even if he didn't quite understand what they were talking about.

Everything kind of went by faster then the noble could have thought. He spotted Amara walk down as the flower girl and couldn't help but smile at how excited she was before taking her spot up on the front. The priestess up on the alter, Serra began the ceremony and at the same time Ephraim spotted Sophia make her way toward him and took a seat to his right. Noticing her sigh, he chuckled a little. "Quite a sigh there, Sophia" he whispered in a low tone, barely audible to her ears. Arya came in soon after and walked up to the alter where the two were formally standing now.

Isadora placed her handkerchief over her mouth to cover her smile and muffled laughter. Who would have thought that Serra could be so... entertaining.

Usually, it would be either Renault or Rhy's job to marry the couple. However, what Serra did was pretty well good. Now, if only she could control her laughter without letting anyone noticed....

Victoria would have slapped her forehead if she wasn't trying to look like she was acting civil. Serra forgot the holy tome of Elmine, and was memorizing it! However, she did a good job of getting the important points across. It wasn't that bad. "She's young..." the bishop decided. "She'll grow out of showing off."

Tibarn would have facepalmed if he hadn't been up at the altar himself. He could hear Janaff trying not to laugh, and fought the urge to shoot his Best Man a Look before he sighed and smiled. He turned himself back a bit more, to face his bride, and shifted his wings as he looked into her eyes, taking her hands in his own. "I will," he said softly, squeezing the swordmistress' palms gently as a little smile began to widen itself on his battle-scarred face. The breeze picked up a bit more, causing the scarf to flutter wildly behind him, then died down so that the tattered garb settled down and hid between his wings.

He couldn't help sneaking a glance into the audience, and his wings flickered a bit as he spotted Lyre, faithful babysitter that she was, with the infant Vaherianslyeri in her lap. There was a warm feeling, realizing that his own child was in attendance at his wedding; part of him wondered idly why people were so adamant about marrying before their hatchlings were born. He, for his own part, was overjoyed at the opportunity to share this joyous occasion with his daughter, and after watching the little blonde-haired child tug on Lyre's hair for a bit, he turned his attention back to his wife-to-be. A smile spread on his face, and the overwhelming urge to pull her into a kiss surged up from his chest. It took every ounce of his willpower to restrain himself, to wait until the right time.

Amara looked straight at Ganon and gave a small nod, clutching the now-empty basket in her hand. Carefully she made her way over to Alihi, plopping down next to her.

Alihi offered her daughter a warm smile as the flower girl made her way over to her seat. Otherwise, her focus was on the ceremony, on Tibarn, Ayra, and Serra.
There were no words to describe how Alihi felt at the moment. Still, she kept smiling.

... Of course Nils was there the whole time. It would have been rather bad if he had skipped out on this! He would have regretted it in the future for sure!
... Although he was rather tired. The party last night... ... well, some things are better left unsaid. The bard smiled happily. He really was happy for the two of them. It was rather refreshing to see a show of love after all the hardships that seemed to come knocking at the door, and, well... Tibarn and Ayra really loved each other. That was very clear.

Arashe chuckled a bit, thinking of Serra of one of those kids he'd known, bouncing off the walls like the bosom diver over to the left had been. "Yeah, but that brutish woman with the little girl didn't hesitate to make herself known, so who knows?"

“M-my apologies… lets just say that planning a wedding is… a lot harder than I expected,” Sophia admitted sheepishly in an equally low tone. She forced herself to sit up straight and not slouch like some commoner in her seat. Even if she was tired, it was best to not let it show, as it could reflect poorly on the bride and groom. “… glad you could make it though… Lord Ephraim.”
