Character Background: Ezekiel "Zeek" Sapius is the main human character of Galestorm Chronicles: Zeek's Reformation, a side chapter of in the Fire Emblem universe. He is the prince of Sapien, the son of Arthur. His mother's name however is not known. He is a descendant of "The Great Ancestor", who is thought to be the first human that stood up to the demon tribes of old and started his race on a path towards enlightenment. During the time known as "The Purge", where the human kingdom sought a war of extermination against the kingdom of demons, he fought as a general in his father's army. He thought his father's mission noble, and went along with it under the assumption that it was the final ploy of the Great Ancestors goal to make Human's the only living sentient race in the world. This changed after he had a direct confrontation with the newly ascended king of the demon kingdom, Takuya. Losing against him in a duel, Zeek is left ousted by his people as a failure. Ezekiel comes to Takuya's aid later in battle and starts to form a friendship that would cause the two kingdoms to become reunited in friendship when he ascends to the throne. It is revealed that the human's ancient texts were mistranslated or altered by a third party long ago, the demon's text revealing that the two races lived side by side in harmony until the Purge was enacted. Zeek pledges that he will stop his father, and put an end to the Great Ancestor's plan. Takuya aids Ezekiel in the uprising and he succeeds in defeating his father in one on one combat, making him the King of Sapien. However, an evil demon from Takuya's kingdom is revealed to have played a part in the war, possessing a half demon girl who was controlling his father Arthur all along. This fact had eluded both Takuya and Zeek and the two pool their kingdoms in an attempt to stop the evil demon who now stood at the helm of the Half Demon tribes. After the defeat of their foes, Ezekiel was formally crowned king and went on to make the human kingdom the best it has ever been. He was bestowed the title "King of Kings" for his great strives towards peace and harmony with those that inhabit the world. The sword was used to defeat his father and reclaim his kingdom, the sword lost it's light when this task was competed. Sakegari- This is the legendary sword wielded by Zeek when he purged his kingdom of evil. It has lost its blessed power when his pact with the sword was complete. Its blade is so sharp it can even slice clean through rock without scratching the blade, its durability remains infinite. Excalibur- This is the rapier once wielded by Zeek's late father. It holds the weight of many generations of rulers who have taken the oath to protect the human race from atrocity and guide them justly. Name: Sunil Gatti Age: As he was born in the year 328, if he remained in Tellius he would have easily been 317 years old by the Mad King’s War. However, he disappeared into present-day Learania some years after the turn of the century. He is currently a little over 100 years old in Laguz years. Gender: Male Height: 6'0" in humanoid form. Affinity: Earth Race: Laguz Class: Cat Origin: The lands that would later become Gallia, in Tellius Skills: FE 13 – Luna, Wrath, Even Rhythm, Beastbane FE9/10 – Shove, Resolve, Wrath, Nihil (55/60) Class Options: Thief, Barbarian Weapons: Fang, Claw, Strike
In his Laguz form, he is a blue cat with faint white markings on his ears, paws, and tail. He has white bandages covering his legs and a faint white crescent-shaped scar on his forehead. In his humanoid form he appears to be in his late teens to early twenties. He has spiky dark blue hair that almost camouflages his ears, with markings on his face, arms and torso that are a shade lighter. He wears a white headsash (with a small sun emblem on both sides) around his forehead. Likewise, the white wraps he has covering his lower arms cover a branded serial number on his right wrist and numerous faint scars on both arms. Whether the scars themselves were self-inflicted or caused by what he had gone through as a slave remains unknown, as he certainly won’t talk about it. He wears a light blue sleeveless cloth top with dark blue pants, choosing to normally wear a one-sleeved gi-like cloth tunic that covers his right arm (all the way down to his palm) while leaving his left arm exposed, with orange tribal print on the lower part of the sleeve and at the bottom of the tunic. A dark blue sash with lighter ends holds the gi closed. On some days, he goes without the gi and blue sash and instead wears a white skirt-like thing to cover his legs (see Volug and Ranulf for a general idea on what it looks like. I don’t know what they’re actually called). On those days, people can see traces of old scars on his right shoulder that disappear under his shirt down his back. He wears teal-colored boots to complete his outfit.
Personality: Sunil appears to be easy-going and carefree, taking life day by day doing small, somewhat simple things. He gets lonely easily and will sometimes wander around in his Beast Form asking for pets. He freaks out pretty quickly whenever water or fire is involved and will often put a distance between himself and the source. Diligent to an extent with the odd jobs he does around town, he does seem to force himself to hold back, especially when combat is involved. He may seem lazy as well, as he often takes catnaps out near FEFGA’s manor or on the rooftop of a building. He might have a few screws loose, as he believes in a deity called Nyancat, a pastry cat. He doesn’t get along with the other Cat Laguz much, but he is friendly with the other Beasts and even Beorcs well enough as noted with his strong friendship with Rajin the Tiger. He is unbelievably cautious, especially around fire, water or strong odors.
Strengths: His speed is top tier, even amongst other Cat Laguz. Few can hope to compete with him in a straight-up race. He also has a high tolerance to heat despite his natural weakness to fire. He can also eat fish faster than anyone else, and is the most likely to waste time playing with yarn.
Weaknesses: Fire and water. These were prominent sources in traumatic events from his past, as well as natural weaknesses as both a Beast Laguz and a cat, respectively. He also loosens up a bit too much whenever catnip is involved.
Likes: Kicking back and relaxing, wandering the desert, drinking milk, eating fish and pastry goods, and being scratched behind the ears or under his chin in his Beast Form.
Dislikes: Other Cat Laguz, people that are too devoted to a particular cause, bitter-tasting medicine, collars/chokers, and status-hindering magic.
Backstory: This is what you’ve been waiting for. The Sunil backstory. Let’s begin by clarifying that he actually lied about serving in the Gallian army. For starters, Gallia still wasn’t a country when he was born, nor was he even there when the Beast Laguz finally unified in 355 under Solhaut of the Lion Clan during the First Gallian War.
The year was 328. It was a few years into the event known as the Great Laguz Movement, where Beast and Bird Laguz started migrating out of Begnion towards the forests to the west and the islands to the south, respectively. Discrimination between Laguz and Beorc were at an all-time high, with the Beorc considering themselves actual “humans” and thus better than the Laguz, whom were labeled as “sub-humans”. Tensions ran high between the two groups.
Sunil was born to a pair of Cat Laguz that migrated out of a Begnion town together. They went into the forests before settling near a river with other Cat Laguz, forming a clan. Being by the water provided a number of benefits, including a bounty of fish for food. All seemed well, and Sunil was a happy little kitten. Everyone was happy, despite the difficulties of building from scratch. However, these days of happiness would not last forever. During a particularly bad rainy season, the river flooded, washing away the small society they had built. Many of the Laguz were swept away and drowned. Those that endured the initial wave quickly scaled the trees, desperately seeking higher ground. Hanging onto a partially submerged branch after a wave had almost knocked him out of the tree, Sunil clung on to dear life for his parents to come help him. However, before they could rescue their son and get him out of the water, the current had become too strong for him to handle anymore and he too was swept away, never to see his family again.
He survived the flood by clinging onto some driftwood from a house that had been destroyed by the floodwaters, and washed up some miles further downstream. He was found by a group of Laguz orphans playing near the water. They were shocked to see him and went to alert the orphanage mother. He was adopted into the orphanage, where he spent many days recovering from a horrible cold. He was plagued by nightmares of the flood for countless nights, even after he got better. His initial fear of water resulted from this incident.
When he recovered, he got along well with the other Laguz orphans. There were days where he wanted to see his family again, but he had no idea how to get back home. Home was gone, after all. It was swept away by the floodwaters. He saw it happen. Did his parents survive? Were they looking for him? He waited patiently for the day where his parents would show up at the door to take him back home, back with all the cool Aunts and Uncles and brothers and sisters at the small town, completely rebuilt. But the years started to pass, one by one, and there was no sign of his parents. By the third year, he had lost all hope and secluded himself from the others, falling into despair. It was thanks to the efforts of a Tiger orphan that he was able to stand up again and move on.
But even then, that happiness did not last long as the year 350 rolled around.
Begnion had declared war on the Beast Laguz living in the forests that would later become Gallia. To diminish their growing power, soldiers were sent into their lands. Amongst those soldiers were slave traders, hoping to make a quick buck selling young Laguz to wealthy Beorcs. After all, Laguz were sub-humans. They had no rights to speak of. Masters could abuse their Laguz slave as much as they wanted and no one would care.
But word of this war never reached the orphanage. One night, the orphanage was torched by some of those slave traders. Some of the orphans, including the tiger that had helped Sunil years ago, perished in those flames. The Laguz children scattered into the forests to escape the flames. Some managed to escape safely. The rest weren’t as lucky and were rounded up. Sunil and another Cat Laguz had managed to escape and were waiting for a chance to try to save some of the others, but while waiting for an opportunity his companion had decided that there was no point helping the others and, after arguing silently with Sunil about it, shoved him out into the open before scurrying off. He was completely shocked about this betrayal, even as he was gagged, shoved into a bag, and carried back into Begnion to be sold to the highest bidder.
And so he was sold, and over the next fifteen years served under several different masters. Some masters were good to him. Others were not. The sons of his first master were quite cruel and would torment the slaves to further degrade them. He didn’t stay long with them before he was sold off again. The second master was kinder, and after some years serving under him, the cat learned that the old man was going to let him and the other slaves go free, back to the newly formed Gallia. A year into his servitude under the second master, some of the free Laguz that remained in Begnion tried to fight the system and free their enslaved comrades. Meanwhile, some of the Beorc Senators defended those Laguz, dividing public opinion. The old master was probably moved by the efforts of the Laguz and members of the Senate to defend them, which probably influenced his decision despite the opinions of his peers who supported the soldiers’ actions. While this liberation movement did stop the war, the rebellion was quashed by the returning soldiers and the outnumbered senators were executed, and those slaves that had turned against their masters in hopes of breaking free were made examples of, stomping out any more flames of rebellion. Before the promised day of freedom could come for Sunil and the other slaves, the old master died much sooner than anticipated, and his will was mysteriously changed. The slaves would not go free and, like the rest of the old Beorc’s wealth and property, would be divided amongst his three sons. There were rumors that the old master’s sons, who were against their father’s decision to free his Laguz servants, had him assassinated so that they could divide the wealth amongst themselves and keep the additional manpower, but there was no evidence to prove it.
Sunil and several other slaves would be shipped off once more to a new master: the eldest son of the second master, who was far worse than the sons of the first master. The more fortunate slaves worked in the house as maids and caretakers, but the rest were either out into the fields to tend to the crops or out in the mines to harvest and excavate rocks for ore to be forged into weapons for the war. Day in and day out did those whips crack at them, with malicious insults hurled at them about their mothers or other derogatory slurs. There were days where the slave drivers would select a number of the slaves to further torment. Some days when the weather turned sour the slaves were forced to work in the nude and endure the elements. Other days the rations would have been purposefully reduced so that they could pick on the weaker slaves. There were days where they were so hungry that they would eat dirt, parts of their clothes, or in the worst cases, gnaw on the corpses of their overworked companions just to stay alive. Even then, it was harder for Sunil as it wasn’t only the humans who were cruel to him. One day, he had stumbled upon a young Beorc while working in the field and, upon learning that he was a starving orphan, shared what little food he had with the boy. One of the Cat Laguz saw him and alerted some of the other cats, and pretty soon there was a whole group of them on him. They assaulted him for being friendly with a human and would later proceed to bully him during the remainder of his time there.
One by one, Sunil’s friends stopped associating with him. Whether they were individually pressured by the other Beast Laguz to not get involved or their own decision to join them rather than fight them did not matter. Whatever caused them to make those choices did not change the fact that he was alone now. There were some days where he wished they would just kill him already so that his own suffering would finally stop, but they never did. It was probably because killing him would mean they would have to find someone else to direct their anger and suffering towards. He had even contemplated taking his own life at one point, but soon found out that he lacked both the strength and determination to carry it out.
Years later, the second war of Gallia began. Begnion had learned a little from their mistakes with the last war and started researching ways to give them an edge against the guerilla tactics the Beast Laguz were using. Sunil was sold off once more as a test subject to one of these research facilities at a low price, having been deemed utterly useless. Granted, the cat could hardly be considered a shadow of his former self with how thin and frail he had become from abuse. The experiments required the Laguz to be a little stronger, so they were given a chance to get some meat on their bones. Having never seen so much food before in so long (or in some cases, ever) the Laguz test subjects dug in to their heart’s content. There were some that were suspicious of this random kindness, but hunger was quick to overrule reason for many of them and they soon joined in. This proved to be a fatal mistake, as after several weeks some of the Laguz were starting to act funny. Those same Laguz later went crazy and tore each apart from fits of insanity. Those that survived would be further researched on, and those that proved uncontrollable were put down.
Suffice to say, this was a project that was very similar to what Izuka would later research. By spiking the Beast Laguz’s food or water sources, they could have those proud Gallian warriors go insane and tear their comrades to pieces. Best of all, this would reduce human casualties and show those sub-humans that they really are nothing more than beasts! More tests were needed to check the effectiveness of the potion, as well as just how potent it needed to be to contaminate the food and water sources. Some researchers even wanted to see if there was a way to actually control the beasts so that they could create new units in the armies to further reduce human casualties. Fortunately, there were plenty of test subjects, and they could always get more if needed! It was the medicine they needed to be careful with, as it was expensive to create from scratch.
They never finished their research. If there was one thing they shouldn’t have done, it was that they shouldn’t have gotten hasty with wanting results by feeding the potion to too many of the Laguz without proper precautions. Countless test subjects died in the ensuing chaos, and those that survived after slaughtering their friends, peers, and researchers fled the building. Fires broke out during the uprising, destroying the building as well as the research.
Sunil, being one of the few that survived that bloodbath, had become a Feral One. It took him several years of wandering; surviving only through instinct, before he finally collapsed north of what would later become Daein in the Desert of Death. Finally, everything he had endured up until now would come to an end. He would be saved, purely by chance, by a wolf returning home from a trip to one of the villages in the Hatari Kingdom. Several more years would pass before Sunil would recover his senses, where he would then live in relative peace with the wolves and humans in Hatari. He was wary at first of the Beorc, but as time passed his hatred subsided and he immersed himself in their culture, learning what he could so that he could someday repay the ones that had saved him from his madness. At one point, he even had a blood brother (the Wolf who happened to save him).
Sunil would never get a chance to properly thank his saviors. One day, as he was returning from the wastes after collecting herbs to continue treating his condition, he was caught in a sudden sandstorm. Sometime during that, he had passed through the Door and ended up in Sentria. He sought a way to return home but, upon learning that Hatari did not exist here, despaired. It would be another year or so wandering between Sentria and Learania before he finally came to terms that he would have to start over.
And so, he settled in Eyris.
Appearances in Learania: Numerous
Debut in Canon: Sometime between Guildaversary '09 and Halloween '09
Notable Accomplishments: Joined the Laguz Army and the Watch
Other facts: Sunil picked up some non-feline traits during his time with the Wolf Laguz. He has also learned the Ancient Language from them. He has not fully recovered from the experiments, and can become a Feral One again.
Notes on Sunil's Ferality: During the wars between Begnion and Gallia, Begnion began researching ways to reduce casualties for their soldiers in the war before settling on controlling Beasts to fight against their own kind using a drug. This particular drug was a prototype that would later develop into the Ferality Potion used by Izuka in FE9/10. Some key differences between the prototype and the canonized version: 1) Due to the costs of maintaining the wars, the researchers could not afford to lose their test subjects due to how expensive it was to create more samples of the drug. Therefore, rather than have the test subjects become mindless killing machines that would fight to the death, there was a focus on survivability. That is, it focuses on the Fight or Flight instinct. In the Feral state, if a threatening opponent is weaker than the Feral One, the Feral One will fight it. However, if the threatening opponent is stronger than the Feral One, the Feral One will flee. 2) In the Feral State, various bonuses would be granted depending on the race. Tigers, being the stronger of the two types of Beast test subjects, would gain a significant boost to their STR and minor boosts elsewhere. Cats, on the other hand, gained a significant boost to their SPEED and minor boosts elsewhere. This boost is enough to allow Cats to double their enemies or even x4 some enemies, thus turning them into something similar to Brave or Heroic weapons. 3) The drug itself is not made of natural ingredients and can cause side effects, with the possibility of these side effects appearing with higher doses. The drug also stays within the body for a longer period of time and thus requires fewer doses to stay Feral.
The research wasn't producing results at a satisfactory pace, so the Senate decided that the researchers should increase the dosage to gather faster results. While the idea looks good on paper, it isn't always the same when put into practice. As the researchers didn't have enough of the drug to use on all the subjects, they selected a handful of them and used a higher dose. Sunil is among the selected. Whether it was a clerical error or done on purpose, all the selected test subjects received a higher dose that was meant for Tiger Laguz. As Tigers are larger than Cats, they require more of the drug to become Feral than Cats do. The Tigers overdose, and the Cats severely overdose.
4) Carcinogens form in the brains of all those who overdose, with the severity of the cancer dependent on how badly the Beast overdoses. All the subjects who overdosed become permanently Feral. 5) Medicine that alters a mental state can suppress one's Ferality for a time, though the results may vary depending on the medicine.

Name: Vincent Age: Unknown due to memory loss, but somewhere in his mid-twenties. Gender: Male Height: A surprising 6'4". Very lanky. Affinity: Dark Race: Beorc. Whatever that is. Class: Grandmaster Origin: Plegia, technically Skills: Ignis, Rally Spectrum, Astra, Acrobat, Swordfaire Class Options: yeah about that Weapons: Swords, tomes Asset: Skill Flaw: Resistance
Physical Description: Vince is quite lanky, and very tall! as Chrom's tactician, many were surprised to meet the two and find that Vince stood several inches over the Exalt. Vince's lank is often well-hidden under his heavy robes, and as such his most striking attribute is his thick, pale green hair, which sticks out at strange angles, particularly straight-up in the middle. He has a fairly handsome face (and a beard/moustache combo that would do Cervantes proud), though all too often it is marred by a frown and furrowed brow. Though he doesn't appear particularly strong, he has a wiry build that lends itself to long-distance running and incredible bursts of speed, and as a skilled swordsman he has quite a lot of lean muscle hidden under his baggy robes.
Personality: Vince is relatively happy-go-lucky for a tactician, and places enormous importance on getting his troops out of any conflict safely, even at the cost of the mission objective. In public, he's all smiles and is very friendly, but those who know him privately can attest to his insecurities over his failures, and occasional crippling bouts of depression. For the most part, Vince is truly a happy person who loves life and dotes on his wife, Juniper, and almost excessively so on his daughter, Lina, whom he regards as his own even though she arrived in his life through what he consistently refers to as "temporal shenanigans". He's just prone to bouts of depression and tends to lump blame on himself when things go wrong.
Strengths: Vince is a master tactician who specializes in keeping his men alive even in dire situations. He's capable of wielding both tomes and weapons and is exceedingly dangerous with swords in particular.
Weaknesses: Crippling self-doubt and a bad habit of second-guessing himself. He's good at hiding it for the men, but every little mistake he makes haunts him, even if there were no real consequences-- he always blames himself if something even minor goes wrong. To some degree he's chasing the phantom of a perfect battle, in which everything goes exactly as planned. He's also got poor resistance to magic, to a noteworthy degree.
Likes: Sunny days and soft bunnies. ;D Yeah. Oh, and reading and running. And awful carrot stew, potatoes (he keeps this one secret), and spicy foods!
Dislikes: Strawberries, mistakes (he really will beat himself up over it), most alcoholic beverages (for the taste), and pegasi. He doesn't trust animals that don't trust him.
Backstory: AWAKENING SPOILERS
Vince became a member of Prince Chrom's Shepherds when they discovered him lying face-up in a field, devoid of memory but with some strange connection to Chrom himself. Their subsequent friendship and adventures together led to him meeting a host of strange and diverse people, including the young taguel girl who would become his wife-- Juniper. He took great care to keep his fellow soldiers alive, even through the dangerous Conqueror's War, when he freed Valm from the control of Walhart.
In the two years between the Second Plegian War and the Conqueror's War, Vince and the Shepherds dealt with a taguel trafficking ring that had, in the absence of available taguel, turned to human trafficking within Ylisse. The campaign strongly influenced Vince's convictions, especially when his then-fiancee was captured to be sold to a noble family as a pet. He refused to leave anyone behind, and holds a particular loathing for those who treat other people like objects or animals.
Lucina's arrival was swiftly followed by the addition of several more future warriors to the army, including a very young taguel girl with her mother's hair and her father's eyes: Lina, his future daughter. A fatherly man by nature, Vince was delighted to meet her, and doted on her as a true father immediately, even though she was only about ten years his junior.
The revelation that he bore the Heart of Grima was a painful one, but one that failed to shake the tactician's morals and dedication to his friends, and he did not hesitate to aid his friends in striking down Grima. In fact, he was entirely prepared to sacrifice himself in order to destroy the Fell Dragon completely when he realized that in doing so, he jeopardized Lina's existence. In the end, he found he could not bring himself to die at the risk of Lina having never been born, and allowed Chrom to strike the final blow, binding Grima back into a long and deep slumber.
Not long after the war, he and his family stepped through the doors of their Ylissean courtyard manor and...
Well.
Appearances in Learania: None so far.
Debut in Canon: Guildaversary '13
Notable Accomplishments: Well, none in LEARANIA yet.
Other facts: His Mark of Grima is on his back, rather than his hand. It's quite large, and he got a tattoo of golden seeds surrounded by twisting green vines to cover it, but unfortunately it just overlapped the tattoo to keep itself visible. It shines when he activates Ignis.

Name: Juniper Gender: Female Age: Roughly equivalent to her early 20s. Race: Taguel Class: Taguel Affinity: Earth Birthplace: Regna Ferox Class Options: Taguel, Fighter, Myrmidon Skills: Beastbane, Astra, Pass, Sol, Counter Weapons: Her body, duh Height: 5’6” Weight: 158 lbs
Description or Mug: Covered in lithe muscle, Juniper is leggy, lean, and perfectly capable of handling herself in a brawl. She has a modest bust and generous hips, appropriate given her active lifestyle. She has wild, curly brown hair to her shoulderblades and blue-purple eyes, similar to her namesake. She has the same facial markings that all other Taguel have -- two jagged lines on each side of her forehead, and on each cheek. While her arms are strong, the bulk of her strength is in her thighs and calves. Like all the other Taguel, she has soft fur, colored to match her hair, along her neck and around her collar bone, around her wrists and up her forearms, and around her hips. Her ears fall free down the sides of her head and towards her bust, with thick curls of fur on top. When she goes around in public, if just to respect human/beorc standards, she typically dons loose tunics and trousers or loose, airy skirts to both stay decent and still not feel restricted in movement. She only wears shoes when absolutely necessary.
[Mug/art to come later.]
Personality: Juniper is an extremely outgoing young woman, loud and bubbly and altogether ready for action. Around commonfolk and people she can trust, it's difficult to get Juniper to sit still. She enjoys exploration and will not hesitate to ask questions. This has only come to her after a long time of adjustment to people, however; trauma as a child led her to become extremely withdrawn and to hide at passing footsteps, and was only able to come out of her shell completely after loving care from good friends and her beloved tactician. She loves to laugh, play, and spread good cheer, and has a tendency to take what she has and give it to people who she thinks need it more. Juniper is, however, entirely capable of getting serious, and any perceived threat against anything she holds dear is typically met with immediate defense, and she will not hesitate to engage in physical combat with anyone in order to protect it. She has a tendency to act without thinking, overall, but she means well.
Strengths: Juniper is extremely tenacious, and will rarely give up on anything or anyone. She is capable of fighting through even extreme pain, but does not hesitate to flee if it means staying alive to finish the job later. What she lacks in book smarts, she gains in common sense. She's also frighteningly capable in hand-to-hand combat while not transformed, and has gotten the upper hand in numerous fights as a result; separating Juniper from her Beaststone doesn't cripple her nearly as much as you would like to believe.
Weaknesses: Juniper has serious abandonment issues and both hates and is terrified of being left by herself. She's very practical and can take care of herself easily, but can be too trusting of common citizens. She's also particularly wary of unfamiliar soldiers in general. Juniper can also be almost too blunt, often speaking her mind without considering the consequences. She's also extremely scared of uncontrolled flames.
Likes: Carrots, training, watching the sun rise, snow, sweets, snuggles, soft grass, open fields, flowers, and hot baths.
Dislikes: Potatoes, people wasting food, abandonment, alcohol, explosions, wild fire, being hungry, tight clothes, wearing clothes in general
History: Juniper was raised in the far northern reaches of Regna Ferox, surrounded by wind and snow. Her warren had lived in the area for generations, and had by that point adapted to the snow to the point of changing the color of their hair and fur when the fall ended and winter began, in order to blend in and further their defenses. When she was still very young, her warren was attacked by Ylissean soldiers. While most of the elderly and children were able to hide in the snow, transformed or not, nearly all of the adult men and women of the warren fought back to give them time to hide or flee, and were killed. Juniper's parents died in this way, and eventually the soldiers left when the snow and cold proved too tortuous to fight through. Before departing, however, they destroyed most of their food stores, and the remainder of the warren was forced to ration out what they had over the rest of the winter. Many starved, and Juniper only survived with the help of her grandparents, who held authority in the group due to their age and experience. When spring came, the Ylissean soldiers returned, and Juniper fled with the help of her grandparents. To her knowledge, no one else survived.
She wandered many a year after that, hiding from soldiers and stealing food from fields before the genocide finally ended with Emmeryn's rise to Exalt. She hid for years like this, sticking to forests and other natural shelters while foraging for food and coin. She traveled slowly in the process, not wanting to remain in any one place for long, in fear of being caught and captured. She was lonely, though. Tired, scared, and lonely. And eventually, headed south through Ylisse, her travels led her to cross paths with a tall, mysterious man with hair as green as a spring field...
Debut in Canon: Guildaversary ‘13
Notable Accomplishments: All back on Ylisse, and therefore irrelevant. She’s one of the only surviving Taguel past the genocide, though, does that count?
Other Facts: Juniper has serious issues against abuse of generally all kinds, given her history and her experiences with human/Taguel trafficking. She also does not like it when you waste food. Do not waste food in front of Juniper. Don’t even do it.
Name:Lina (Linen in japanese emotion_awesome ) Age:Early teens, between 13 and 14 Gender:Female Height:5'4" Weight:105 lbs.
Origin:Regna Ferox Affinity:Wind Race:Half Taguel/Half Human Class:Taguel Class Options:All the classes! *shots* Weapon:Her beaststone Skills:Ignis, Pass, Even Rhythm, Beastbane
Parents:Vince and Juniper
Description:Lina is an agile girl in her very early teens. Being the child of human and taguel, she doesn’t have bunny ears in her untransformed state unlike most taguel, but she does have the fluffy tail, patches of brown fur on her body, and facial marking. She has yellow-green eyes just like her father. Her short hair is a similar shade of brown as Juniper’s but with a tuft of light green from Vince in the middle of her bangs. She wears dark magenta armor with pink accents.
Personality:Lina is a cheerful, open-minded yet naïve child who daydreams a lot. She can be clever at times as evident by her practice matches with Vince, but she comes off as reckless due to her inexperience. Lina is very much a daddy’s girl.
Strength:Quick with her mind and body
Weakness:Reality is a hard pill to swallow sometimes.
Likes:Studying strategy, picking herbs and flowers, collecting dolls especially animal shaped ones, carrot stew, warm colors, her parents' affections
Dislikes:Missing out on things, being left behind, sweets, her memories of the doomed future
Past:Born to a rare taguel and the prized tactician of the Ylisse army, Lina was thought to have a bright future ahead of her. Unfortunately, times were very rough on the continent of Ylisse, but they tried to make the best of it just like any family would. Lina was taught to defend herself at a young age by her mother and studied tactics under her father. One fateful night, their camp was attacked. Lina’s mom grabbed the young girl and fled with the others while her dad tried to buy them time. However, the enemy was too organized. Her mother defended the children until her dying breath. In a panic Lina followed her father’s scent against his orders. When she found him, the little taguel saw a horrifying scene. With the last of his sanity, the tactician used his powers to transport her to a safer place.
That’s when Lina awoke in a calm, green field. Wanting to forget everything that had happened, she searched out a place to start a new life. Eventually the girl met Chrom and his Shepards along their journey. Lina almost couldn’t believe her eyes when she met younger versions of her father and mother. She became ecstatic to have a do-over with the family she always wanted. At last the dark times could be left behind her.

Username: Queen Melethia Dagon Name: Taigra Gender: Female Age: Doesn't wish to answer Height: 6'0 Weight: Also does not wish to answer Race: Tiger Laguz Affinity: Water Description or Mug: This sadly doesn't tell the full picture as she is bulkier than what this tektek can show. She is a tiger after all.
Strengths: Her strength and well as her height are great for her as a tiger laguz.
Weakness: Like most tigers she is a little bit slow on speed compared to cats and she is weak to fire magic. She also has problems speaking. She tries to make up for that with drawing, which she is good at doing.
Likes: Meat and a lot of it.
Dislikes: She's not a fan of fruit and isn't fond of the cold.
Personality: Taigra does not speak much because she can not speak that well. This doesn't mean she is dumb however because she understands the language and can write very well. She usually lets her actions speak for her lack of words. It's quite annoying to find out people can't understand what she is saying and brush her off. She doesn't like humans that much due to the history they have with Laguz.
Past: Taigra is from 15 years prior to the events of FE9. She has been in Gallia all her life. She was the youngest one in her family, and it was rough growing up unable to speak well. After a while her parents gave up on trying to get her to speak and she went most of the time unnoticed.
As she got older and explored Gallia some more, Most of her growing hatrid came from other laguz who expressed their hatrid for Beorcs. Being a bit naive, Taigra took that as a truth and began to hate beorcs as well. This, along with her troubles with speaking motivated her to become stronger as a fighter.
She knew that even though it had been 5 years since the laguz were freed from most countries, the tension and hatred towards humans still existed. She hated humans as a result and refused to talk or be nice to them, even though the king was trying to mend the relationship between the two races.

His strength is high up there, and his strike will surely leave a mark. Weaknesses: There leaves the fact that keeping himself to axes and swords, he isn't much of a ranged fighter. Past: Growing up in Conote, Enailios had a decent time in his childhood. This was before any of the child hunts had been going on, so he was lucky enough to avoid those. Around the age of 13, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and become a blacksmith. He always enjoyed the chances when he got to watch his father at work, making weapons or repairing them. A year after he had decided to follow his father's footsteps, he managed to learn about the art of blacksmithing. Seven years of training, he still believes that he has not completed his training in blacksmithing, but he can do as much as his father could. During his training, he picked up the art of sword fighting, and trained in this as well. By the time he had left his home, seven years after working on blacksmithing, he had taken up the art of axe fighting as well, and continued his training in all areas. One day on his travels, he went to an inn to rest up. The next morning he found himself in a different room that wasn't the one he went to sleep in. Username: Belzayne Name: Naina Gender: Female Race: Human Class: Trickster Affinity: Ice Description or Mug: Personality: Naina is someone that is quite cheerful. It takes a lot to get her down. Of course, that doesn't mean she's not serious! Oh no, she knew how to handle situations well. Of course, keep the bunnies away from her. One look at them and she'll be flying over to hug them and love them! Past:
Naina was born in a time before Grima was defeated for good. Her father was the one to give the final blow to Grima, so he ended up disappearing. Her mother, Anna, never actually found out what happened with him. It seemed that he had disappeared. But peace had been restored to the land.
Naina grew up, learning about becoming another merchant from her mom. Of course, she also got carried away when there were other things involved. It got to the point when she ended up meeting some strange man with ragged robes that she felt concerned. There was something about him that seemed familiar. Not even her mom knew who he was. He just was someone that gave one bit of advice to her: "Don't trust the Outrealms..." Naina was a curious soul, so one day she ended up wandering on over towards the gate herself. What she saw there was a lot of fascinating things. There were tons of people going around in there that she could not help herself! She took one step, and left the land of Ylisse. Reclass: Assassin, Sage, Sniper Skills: Acrobatics, Lock Touch, Ignis
NAME Alihi Kaua GENDER Female AGE AND BIRTHDAY 24; August 2nd AFFINITY Dark CLASS Alihi's a tactician with some background in sword usage. APPEARANCEHere.
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW Alihi is the textbook definition of a confident young woman -- she will never take "no" for an answer, even from those nearest and dearest to her heart. She commands respect from those around her, and those who don't fall in line will get a severe verbal lashing. This confidence can and will bite her in the a**, though, as it turns into cockiness in areas that're her weaknesses and an overwhelming desire to be the best in her strong areas.
While Alihi is intelligent, she's best known for her intuition and linguistic abilities. She is a natural leader and tactician, more often than not eager to take control of an endeavor or conversation. On-the-spot thinking is her forte, making her a valuable asset on the battlefield. She didn't save Elibe with just luck alone, after all!
Despite her slightly competitive and stern nature, get her in a casual setting and you'll find that she cares deeply about others. Her family and friends mean the world to her, and it's hard for her to turn away from someone who needs help. ...of course, you wouldn't want to betray her trust -- she may eventually forgive, but she will never, ever forget.
OTHER NOTES • She always has in her possession a ring from her late lover and a Helwig Coin (grants +7 luck) from Abel Fallon. • Her weapon of choice is a rapier she got from a friend at the end of Easter 2009. • She currently lives in Vayrin with her daughter.

NAME Akihi Kaua GENDER Male AGE AND BIRTHDAY 24; August 2nd AFFINITY Dark CLASS Anima mage. A Lightning, B Fire, D Wind. APPEARANCEHere.
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW If you give Akihi the choice between going outside and staying in, 11 times out of 10 he will curl up in a chair and read until the next morning. An inferiority complex, spawned from being "Alihi's brother", coupled with shyness makes for a very reclusive and confused Akihi Kaua. While he's capable of social interactions (when forced), it takes a considerable amount of time and effort to get past his hesitancy and more passive nature.
Once comfortable in an environment, though, he'll gradually drop his guard and open up to others. Deep down he has a passion for all things Anima magic, as well as philosophy and other religions. As a result, he's always looking for a way to expand his knowledge and, hopefully, somewhere along the way, find out who he is truly. Once a thinker, always a thinker.
OTHER NOTES • He is a part of Abel Fallon's mercenary group.
----
NAME Amara Kaua-Aelfgar GENDER Female AGE AND BIRTHDAY 7, January 1st AFFINITY Fire CLASS she's seven years old APPEARANCEHere.
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW Amara is a bright bundle of joy and optimism, with an unparalleled love for stuffed animals and other soft things. She never fails to look on the bright side of things, even when the world is crumbling around her. At the end of the day, she knows that her mother, uncle, and friends will make everything better.
As any child, she's naturally curious, and she's not afraid to ask any of the (potentially awkward) questions that come to her mind. She loves trying new things and being the center of attention.
OTHER NOTES • She has the potential to use magic, but has yet to hone the skill. • She currently lives in Vayrin with her mother.

Name: Issac Anders
Gender: Male [He/His or They/Them] Age: 56, physically in his 20's. Race: Branded [Heron lineage] Class:Berserker Affinity: Light Class options: Fighter, Bard, Wyvern Rider Skills: Rally Strength, Axefaire, HP+5, Lunge, Swordbreaker Weapons: Axes, Bows Description or Mug: Mug
Issac wears a dull colored and simple armor set with an undersuit, accented with a rather extravagant feathered cape and dark blue waist mark. Standing at 6'2", Issac has muted yellow hair and striking green eyes. His axe stays strapped to his back at the ready, as it's his main and preferred weapon of choice. Height: 6"2 Weight: 215 pounds
Personality: Overly blunt and sometimes critical to a fault, Issac simply isn't someone who minces words. Underneath the hardened figurative mask from shutting others from his worldview shines the wanting to socialize and dedicate himself to something better, evident in his willingness to fully commit to a just cause and his tireless work ethic. Despite his overly gruff demeanor, Issac holds a very sharp sense of right and wrong as well as inherent connection to the emotions of those around him. His lineage is both a matter of shame and inspiration for Issac, as he despises himself for being unable to match his own expectations and social inability to satisfy his heron lineage.
Strengths: An experienced mercenary who is willing to do what he needs in order to survive, Issac is a brutal and pragmatic fighter able to outlast most. Dependable and flexible to almost any situation, Issac is also dangerously accurate and ruthless with his bow and more than willing to take the shots that he needs. Weakness: Issac is still a branded and as such feels ostracized from the world at large. Issac also possess a heightened sense of hearing that's a burden as much as it is a blessing, thus he's vulnerable to sonic attacks. Despite his pragmatism, Issac is only as ruthless as he needs to be for his own survival and wellbeing, thus his heart can be swayed by the right causes and people. Seems to have deep-rooted trauma regarding the loss of his senses, most noticeably his ability to speak. Something to note, he's very sensitive to his legacy as a heron.
Likes: Baking (pastries mostly, though has been known to cook one hell of a stew), sewing, singing and playing various instruments in private company (though is seen playing a public show here or there as needed for his pockets), a nice casual conversation between friends with a good drink in hand.
Dislikes: Loud sudden noises, gossip, pork, loud obnoxious individuals, and the majority of his clients. (He'd never say anything, though.)
Past: Years after the tales of the Hero of the Blue Flames and the Priestess of the Dawn, one of their companions, Stefan, would harbor a collective of like-minded Branded and their supporters, not unlike the country of Hatari, that would expand into one of the greatest countries to grace the continent of Tellius.
Issac, however, was not lucky enough to have been in such a place, he had the unfortunate luck to be conceived years before, to a common heron parent and a beroc father sometime before the Serene Massacre. His mother was one of the many lost in the fires of Begnion's treachery. His father drank himself into an early grave, heartbroken at the loss of his wife, causing the young Issac to take up his axe as a mercenary, hiding his existence as Branded for many years to come. Time to time he would disappear from public eye, taking up a new identity or isolating himself from society for periods of his lifetime. After all, how could he explain his youthful face of 20 for so many years at a time? Again and again he would start over, in Daein, Crimea, and even Begnion once more. (They say the Grann Desert is lovely this time of year.) Issac continuously tore himself from the relationships he built, sometimes without a word in the middle of the night, before completely shutting himself off from those around him after the betrayal of one he trusted with his own identity. (After all, it would be some time before the efforts of the Heroes of Tellius would be able to make strides in the relations of Beroc, Laguz, and Branded.)
In time, he would hear word of Stefan's creation, hope in a community that he thought long since dead swelling within him for the first time in years as he once more abandoned everything in search of the recently established colony. Later, he would learn that the Empress herself had authorized the use of Begnion soil in an effort to close the gap of the the three races, an effort he sadly would never see the end of. Just as he had been welcomed into the arms of his fellow brothers and sisters, Issac rushed to open the door of his new and, wishfully, last household...
To find himself in the country of Learania.
Debut in Canon: Unofficially, the After Hours thread. Officially, nothing as of yet.
Notable Accomplishments: N/A
Name: Ara Altair
Gender: Male [He/His or It/Its] Age: Beorc equivalent would be 32. Race: Laguz Class: Hawk / Merchant Affinity: Water Class Options: Hawk, Apothecary, Thief Skills: Pass, Profiteer, Potent Potion, Quick Salve, Replicate Height: 6'4" Weight: 170 pounds
A tall, lanky, beanpole of a bird-man, Ara builds himself for speed with the power coming from his toned, conservative muscles, trained for efficiency rather for bulk and show. His fighting style is more akin to that of a bullet, striking, sudden, and piercing with as little surface area as he can possibly squeak by. Bushy, but certainly well backed up by product, black hair is swiped in your direction every few seconds around the vain little bird. Ara adores layered, yet still surprisingly open and revealing, clothing, mix matching colors as quickly as his self-absorbed self can process how they could possibly go together, yet...He still somehow makes an outfit that's still just as functional as the rest. Go figure? Why yes, as much as he finds most people contemptible, this little bird isn't afraid of using a little sexuality to get his way, and his outfit and build are certainly reflections of that.
Personality: A product of the United Bird Nations, Ara is just as much of a smooth-talker as he is a fighter. In fact, you might count him just as treacherou- er...As advantageous-seeking as an old crow, as long as there's profit to gain, he's not really above or below an action. Before you write him off, even a cur still holds some love in his heart for others, and Ara is no exception. Deals he brokers remain honest and fair, as he's not about to swindle you out of house and home. (Really just enough to pocket for later). Pride as a businessman goes before his charisma score! (But that's not to say he's not willing to trick and steal to save his own hide when it comes down to it!) His wit is just as strong as his talons, and he's not afraid to show it. Rather cheeky when pushed, it's hard to shut him up at his worst. Something of note, he does have a soft spot for children.
Strengths: Ara has spent many years under the tutoring of the finest Crow merchants Tellius had to offer, leaving the b*****d with a fine knowledge of economics, back-alley skullduggery, and how to brew the meanest goddamn alcohol this side of Kilvas. Ara is a bullet on the battlefield, focusing on speed to augment his natural ferocity as a Hawk Laguz.
Weakness: That being said, being the type of merchant that he is, Ara has problems building last genuine relationships and feels that every professional connection comes with a system of give and take, which leaves him physically unable to comprehend genuine friendship or even what a "favor" is. As for combat, thanks to his emphasis on swiftness, Ara is a bit less durable than most Hawks as well as being able to work well when shifted in confined areas, despite his passable martial abilities. Likes: Peaches, freshly made green tea, any sort of card game with a few business partners (both enjoyable and a good opportunity if you know what you're doing), gardening, and painting on his free-time.
Dislikes: Not being able to understand people around him, restricting formal attire, wearing shoes, steamed rice, and the sensation of rain.
Past: Born some time after the unification of the Bird Laguz tribes, Ara was part of the first generation of a great advancement for his people. Beroc and Laguz relationships, on strange terms due to the past events of the years, slowly began to rekindle. Trade of goods and materials started between the countries, though some far more resistant than others, and begrudging respect and admiration was won from those who know how to play the game. After all, if there was anything that was certain for Beroc, it was that money talked, and Ara wanted to be heard.
And so he went under an apprenticeship with one of the older crows, who had experience with working deals with the Beroc. Who cared about some checkered past, a few double crossings, and more lies than you could shake a stick at? They were good at what they did, and that was the only thing that mattered to Ara. But being a merchant, and being a hawk, doesn't mean you can assume you're safe! Bandits never go away, especially those who still clung to a hatred of Laguz, making his job that much more dangerous. He was thrown straight into the forge during his apprenticeship, learning just how turn his tongue just as silver as the ones tucked away with the gold as gifts and his talons sharp and true. After sometime, he branched out on his own and took a reasonable amount of ground...and much unwanted attention. The Hawk was thrown from his caravan during one journey by an impact to the hull, a fireball setting it ablaze. Ara desperately threw himself from his driver's position, struggling to make his way into the back of his caravan to save his stock. The moment he touched the door to the compartment, however, he was ghosted away into a busy Learanian market.
Stowing away and slowly building up connections in back-alley deals with words of tainted honey and sugar, Ara has begun a slow comeback into our local economy with his recent endevour being the recruitment of Ewan after an encounter during the recent invasion of Sentria in hopes to retake Pentheus, blackmailing the Sage into his own operations. Seems to be working on a merger with the Hostess Club in-regards to his own supplies to make an establishment to work his operations from, as well as scope out potential clients. Despite all of this...He largely doesn't seem to have any negative intentions, even if he's a bit too self-serving for most people's taste.
Debut in Canon: Battle of the Border
Notable Accomplishments: None in the current canon as of yet!
Julia prefers to keep her hair rather short, as not to distract her during flight. Having trained herself beyond acceptable physical fitness, she's rather toned in a matter that wastes no muscle to keep her from being far too bulky to carry out her duties. She's agile with enough force behind it to be effective. Standing at 5'2, she can still knock you flat on your a**.
Personality: Very quick to dismiss at a first impression, Julia simply does not have time nor the patience to coddle or baby anyone. A cool and rather icy temper and a sharp tongue makes her someone very...difficult to adjust to. However, impress her even remotely and you'll find a more generous side to her. Julia practices a very harsh maternal lifestyle, which is debatable a worse alternative to being ignored, towards the people she cares about. Simply "What won't kill you will make you stronger." That being said, she's brutally honest with her opinions and is as quick to commend as she is to scold. [Don't tell anyone this but she also has a wonderful sense of humor. "Make her laugh to avoid her wraith" was something quickly passed around the barracks
Strengths: Julia oozes military precision as she's the epitome of a professional soldier's child, very organized, precise, and clear in her intentions. She has unwavering focus (with a few exceptions like a certain red-headed knight) and accuracy couple with an unbreakable bond with Calliope, her trusted mount.
Weaknesses: Julia also tends to come off a bit too strong and dedicated to her attention to detail, sometimes overthinking situations and being somewhat inflexible in her mannerisms and strategy when upset. Her time with Cloak, with all its imperfections, is soothing those bumps in her personality, but she certainly still has a long way to go. Oh and arrows, you can never forget arrows.
Likes: Birds (She keeps a small little gal by the name of Athena in her household), wind instruments, herbology, and a nice warm stew after a rainy day, and above all, cute girls.
Dislikes: Disorder, ineptitude, messy and rude men, scorching weather, having anything stuck in her teeth, and politicians.
Past: Eldest of three siblings of Illian decent, a sister and a brother, Julia enlisted into the service and training of a one of the local Peg. Divisions in order to support both her family and her country after her mother was bed-ridden. Her mother Ophelia, herself a respectable Peg Knight, had been in a slow decline ever since her father's passing due to infection. Due to her mother's teachings, Julia had some experience and familiarity with riding and lance work at an early age, as did most Illians. After years of hard-work and dedication, Julia eventually came to be a battle-hardened soldier and respectable mercenary. Her brother went off to become a decent, yet struggling traveling merchant with her sister eventually serving with her after years of bickering against it. However, due to a late-night reassignment from the Stormwings to the Fifth Wing and a scuffle between her sister, Julia and her mount collapsed once a snowstorm hit in mid-flight. Despite the strength of the snowstorm itself, the pair struggle to push through, blindly searching through the rough terrain before collapsing. A wish in her final moments, and one last desperate grasp, was enough to trigger Julia's entry into Learania. Always a mercenary at heart, she searched for a company that she'd be able to find her way in this new world with.
...Unfortunately for her, she had the "good fortune" to run into Lance, who was more than ready to recruit her into the budding Cloak mercenary group, who challenged her to a duel. Underestimating his bizarre personality and fighting style, Julia happily accepted, being foolish enough to agree to his terms of joining his company out of pity. She was, however, soundly defeated (damn you promoted units!) and found herself in the company, despite her experience. Even so, she wasn't one to wallow in self-pity and quickly moved to whip her co-workers into shape, particularly growing close to Evelyn who she looked after as if she was a younger sister.
Debut in Canon: Guildaversary '12
Notable Accomplishments: Assisted with King Amir's party during the Guildaversary Event.
Name: Evelyn Cole
Gender: Female [She/Her] Age: 21 Race: Beorc Class: Cleric Affinity: Light Class Options: Cleric > Dancer, Dark Mage Height: 5'8 Weight: 130 pounds Description or Mug: x
Evelyn is currently undergoing alchemist hormonal adjustments thanks to Ewan's specialty cocktail so her measurements and build are certainly open to change, but as of now, Evelyn sits at a nice and pretty 5'8", most of her muscle being in her rather leaned and toned arms, weighted and round thighs its mirror in her delightfully pear shape body. After some awful time locked away and her bout of depression, Evelyn has been healthier and healthier as time has gone on, once more in her natural brown skin tone, complimented by her makeup work. (Something she's very proud of, thank you very much.)
Personality: Evelyn has gone through a roller coaster of trauma, validation, transphobia, and ultimately acceptance, leaving behind her timid persona and budding into a confident softspoken woman despite her docile appearance. She's nurturing to those around her, the cornerstone of organization when it comes to her work in Cloak and one of the best public faces of the group has to offer. She still dips into depression from time to time (heck, mental illness never really goes away right?) and happens to be just as negatively stubborn as Blossom at her worst, but Evelyn truly has everyone's best interest at heart. A true friend, Evelyn will be the one to pick you up at your worst and pull you back when you're finding yourself on the edge slipping.
Strengths: Evelyn is a dutiful and powerful healer due to years of experience and travel, having spent many years previously on the road helping people as she went along. Her experience with Cloak has lead her to being a crackshot at organization and communication with a chain of command as well as helped her build connections throughout Eyris. She's also far stronger than she appears to be, perhaps something that'll come into play in the future?
Weaknesses: Evelyn is also the victim of her fair share of trauma and abuse throughout the years, something that still manifests in her fear of large men, though she's learning to cope with it due to her friend-by-association relationship with Deitrich. Evelyn also wears her heart on her sleeve and the fastest way to get through her is to endanger the people closest to her due to her self-sacrificing nature.
Likes: Baking (especially breads), hiking out in the mountains, being physically productive, taking care of children, and grape jelly with biscuits. (Her favorite breakfast meal)
Dislikes: Overly large men, the sound of chains, being mistaken as an ordained Sister, wild boars, and also sugarless tea. Past: Evelyn was born to an Estarcian merchant couple, the younger sister of the then 10 year old Leonardo, a brother she would unfortunately never have the privilege to know as her parents were the victims of Sentrian bandits, her brother hiding her away before his capture at the hands of their parent's killers. Her brother was taken away, force into the life of a bandit, almost a complete mirror of Evelyn who was found some time later, crying her lungs out where her brother had left her. Fate was kind enough to allow a clergy man, Father Angelo, to find her during her pilgrimage and adopt her into his home. Here she learned the ways of a follower of the church and was trained in staff work, first aid, and where she found her home after her loss, despite the memory of which long forgotten in her developing being. Her gender identity was one that she struggled with, finding private solace in the accepting arms of her adoptive father, though she could not find it in herself to fully blossom into what she believed she could be. That was when, in a moment of acting as a foolish silly teenager would do, a vase was broken by the young Evelyn, earning her a playful scolding and a coin purse in order to find a replacement for it in the town a few days walk away. She embraced her father, giving a loving farewell, unaware that in a day's time abbey would be burnt to the ground, taken for all it was worth and the members either killed off or...
Well, she choose to not think of the alternative as she stood before the cinders of what was once her home, the shattered remains of the replacement pot (dropped in her silenced shock) laying at her feet. For days she stood there, unable to process what she had lost in seemingly a moment, eventually running out of tears as she hid in what little rubble remained of her precious home. It was in the burnt ashes of her home that the person Evelyn previous clung to died, Evelyn herself taking to the road with staff in hand as she traveled, healing the sick, tending to the poor, and desperately clinging to some idea that she could close the gaping hole in her heart one day. Eventually, she would find herself in chains by those who would take the city of Arajudia as their own, ending up in captivity some time before the city itself would be reclaimed. She relocated to Eyris after the war effort, joining Cloak during the Job Fair event where she met the friendship of Ewan, Blossom, and Julia who became important cornerstones of her safety and well-being, Evelyn growing as a person as Cloak and their like assisted in the rebuilding efforts of the country.
A year later she would be among those chosen to assist the, then hidden, Prince Amir in reclaiming his country from the bandits supported by the Mordachians, unaware of her brother's current location during this entire event. Sometime during the event itself, Evelyn would be captured by the bandits of Learania who were spurred on by the machinations of Ishtur, an event that would haunt Evelyn after the obsession and treatment at the hands of Harold, the leader of the bandits there. Despite her hardships, Evelyn would eventually find solace and comfort thanks to the efforts of her friends and the mutual trust and guidance of Blossom as the two struggled to keep the other from falling apart.
Debut in Canon: Arajudia's Fate
Notable Accomplishments: Member of Cloak as well as member of the Hostess Club due to Blossom's recommendation.
Age: 26 Gender: Male Race: Human/Beorc Class options: Dark Mage (FE5 ver, staff and anima capability), Priest, Mage Knight Affinity: Thunder
Description: Average-sized man who seems healthy enough. Has feathery white hair, though he has no sideburns or facial hair and a more exposed forehead. Tends to dress in clothing that covers most of his body except for the head, prefers boots and long pants, robes, cloaks, and the like. Typically wears a simple, somewhat heavy dark blue cloak with some simple embroidered patterns, though he has had to patch it up many times with whatever he had at the time. Has a really nice, gentle smile. Often smells of lavender.
Personality: Ask tends to be nice and welcoming, though he can be very anxious and self-doubting. He tends to have trouble keeping his emotions hidden when they get too strong. He also loves life and is more than happy to dedicate himself to healing people through magical and mundane means. He's also a very good caretaker.
Strengths: His greatest strengths are his magical aptitude, his knowledge of plants and the natural world, and his love of practical hobbies such as sewing and cooking. As such, he is usually very self-sufficient when in the right state of mind, given he can stay in one place for any amount of time. He is also very accepting of people and their flaws, and it takes a lot to get on his bad side. Overall, Ask is a very peaceful and kind man. Weaknesses: His life thus far has made him very anxious when things start to fall apart. He has developed an underlying sense of guilt over his lineage that clashes with the stories of his forefathers making strong, good decisions that he also takes pride in. Has had a few very traumatic experiences, including one near-death experience that happened fairly recently. Tends to have trouble keeping inner turmoil hidden from the world when he is feeling a mix of very strong emotions.
Past: Ask hails from Jugdral’s past. Being of minor Loptyr blood, he and his family and fellows were among those who escaped after the fall of the Loptyrian empire and wanted to pursue a more peaceful existence with the rest of the world’s people. Ask was born after the escape and was raised moving from place to place, trying to find security with his fellows. As they remembered a time when magic was only in the hands of those who sought to force others into submission, they took measures to learn of natural healing remedies and combined them with their magical knowledge. Witch hunts were becoming more frequent among the developing nations, so they were never able to find a place to comfortably live within Asks’ lifetime. While he appreciated and valued the customs and history of his lineage and desired as his family did to peacefully practice their own religion among other people, the adversity around him in his young years gave him a lasting sense of guilt. This came to a head when rumors gradually built up around them, and Ask almost lost his life to a mob of angry villagers who sought to burn him at the stake. Ask has a natural aptitude towards dark magic and even feels good when he has a dark tome in his hands. But he views it as a vice, and focuses more on healing. At the same time, though, as a descendant of Maira he is proud of the decisions of those who came before him. He views his roots as complex, something to fear, and something to be proud of.
Now, as a 26 year old man, he will look to his new start in Learania to continue making a living for himself and trying to find a permanent, safe place among friends. He dreams of becoming a successful herbalist and/or healer with a niche somewhere,
