So last night I watched two movies. One was the new Friday the 13th. It was decent and worthy of a watch for a slasher film. I was surprised that it didn't suck, like other remakes nowadays. The second was The Devil's Tomb. It was interesting, confusing, and I'm not quite sure if I liked it yet or not. On the upside, if you're a fellow fan, it has Ron Perlman in it, but only for about fifteen minutes tops. I won't tell you what it was about, it might "spoil" it.

On another note, the Sims 3 finally came in the mail today and I'm am installing it right now. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I hung out with a bunch of gay furries and baked a cake in the shape of a dog d**k.
Good night.

Sims 3 is awesome. I promise I won't let it steal my soul and make my daily (fingers crossed) visits here. I still intend to be the active member that I have been. I can't play sims for more than a couple of hours at a time. I get bored.........and my butt tends to start hurting.... redface

And for the Sims 3 review (My opinions only):

Cons:

Only one household per saved game. Meaning you can't make one household, then decide to make another and make the two friends.

Getting used to the new controls. That's to be expected, though, and I'm already becoming quite used to them.

No more "motivedecay off". crying I know, a cheat, but I like cheats. The others still work though.

Pros:

Just about everything else. There is really no need for custom content in this game since you can customize everything.

NO MORE LOADING SCREENS! When your sim goes somewhere they get in their car, run, walk, etc., leave, and you leave with them, drive through the town, arrive at the destination. Then you can meet new people and have fun.

You can interact with ghosts.

Sims can have really unique personality. Say you want a sim that's insane and afraid of water. You can make your sim's personality like that. You can also throw in neurotic, childish, and inappropriate for good measure. I've resisted making an evil self-sim for now.... twisted

As for game performance, I haven't had any problems, the game runs exceptionally smooth on my computer. I'm actually quite impressed, considering it is the sims, as all you fellow simmers should know.

Going to see Heart and Eddie Money tonight! I'm taking my dad with me. I know that sounds uncool, but my dad raised me on Rock and he's not the dorky dad type. Think if Shaggy from Scooby Doo were real and you basically have my dad. Except he doesn't eat all the time. He does have a dog that makes funny noises that sounds like he's talking and he does look almost exactly like Shaggy. I've asked him countless times to dress as him for Halloween and walk around with Rowdy, but he says no every time.

And yes, he used to smoke pot. He claims, though, that he didn't smoke it every day. Sure, dad, whatever you say.... stare

Well. . .
Woke up at 1pm.
stayed on computer til 10mins before 6pm.
Ate, got dressed for softball game.
During softball, while sliding to home, got a brush burn on outer left thigh. Still was out and knew I should of worn pants.
After playing catcher for an inning, went into the dugout, passed out head first for the ground. Luckily, my glasses broke the fall.
When I came to, I wanted to continue playing but they wouldn't let me.
When I got home, I took a shower and put some medicine on. Both of which were painful.
Now, I'm 'bout to go watch TV and continue drawing a birthday present for someone.

Question for Lucie:
If I were to use 'motivedecay off' in The Sims 2, what would it do?
PostPosted: Sat Jun 27, 2009 9:17 pm

motivedecay off means the sims needs never get any lower. If you use maxmotives, then motivedecay off then you no longer have to worry about them eating, sleeping, bathing, etc. and have more time for them to build their skills and relationships.

It'll come in handy when one with one of my Sim couples and their huge family.
(1 baby, 1 toddler, 2 adopted girls with another adoption of a child coming)
The mother loves kids. :>
(She wants to marry of 16 of her kids.)

So basically, they need to make a sims 4 with all the good parts of ts2 and 3 mixed together, and no bad parts?

Wow Naomi, tough day! Hoe you feel better.

I got a Guinea Pig yesterday! I need to get him a friend soon but anyway I've wanted one for a long time and I'm so excited! He's very cute and his name is S'mores and so far I think he likes me and he's soft. I'll post pictures when I take them, I just don't want to scare him until he's settled in. See, yesterday I was going to adopt a pair, but the lady gave them to someone else. Then my boyfriend and I were at the pet shop to play with the birds when he noticed the GPs were on sale and he bought me one along with whatever supplies I hadn't yet gathered. xD Now I'm just working on finding him a companion since they shouldn't be alone.

Cute! My neighbor had Guinea Pigs when we were kids. We would set up the pools, put in one of the lounger floats, put the gp's on it, and have fun. The g-pigs would jump off the float, swim around a little, then jump back up and nap. They're great swimmers.

Yeah, I've read that. Apparently shallow water freaks them out but they love deeper water.
