Izzy gave a weak smile and shook his head, his face reddening a bit. He hadn't really talked with anyone about leaving home before, and had never been told he had 'guts'. "It's- it's what I d-decided I needed to do, i-in order t-to grow up." He whispered, sipping his tea again and slouching in his chair. Even with the older players words, he felt bad about leaving.
Hadn't Writ even said he wouldn't have left home at his age?

"When there's people out to kill you, you do a lot of growing up along the way." Writ shrugged, "Some faster than others." He looked down at his tea cup and realized he hadn't drank any of it, he took a long swig of his tea.

Izzy shuddered, remembering how much sugar Writ had put in his tea. He needed to think about other things than his mom (and possibly dieing), so instead he focused changed subjects.
"H-how can you d-drink that? C-can you still t-taste any o-of the tea?"

Writ took a sip of tea before answering, "Honestly? Nope." Another sip, "I'm more of a coffee person, tea can't keep a man up till' four in the morning-- sugar can though, so that'll have to do." He put the cup down, "I like it sweet anyway."

Making a face Izzy sipped his own tea. "I-if you drank the r-right kind of t-tea it c-could work like c-coffee. Like a b-black t-tea, maybe e-earl gray, with a b-bit of ginseng infused." He said, sipping his own mint tea. Sighing, Izzy put his own cup down. "B-but it's also j-just as b-bitter as coffee."

"Maybe. Still can't beat coffee though. Lived in a cafe the better part of my life." First blowing up buildings and now tea? This conversation certainly got casual quick.
"I'll remember that though." He said, sipping the last of his diabetes-inducing concoction.

Izzy made a mental note to see if he could cross-breed tea leaves with the special dirt Totec gave him before swirling his cup in his hands. It all seemed rather simple, even with the extensive conversation topics they'd covered. So far Izzy was happy he hadn't been attacked by another player, but realized he was counting his blessings way to early into the Game.
"'Nd y-you don't have t-to pay f-for the t-tea..." Izzy said, sipping at the last of his as well. "I-I get f-free tea here f-for working f-for them."

"That's cool, thanks. " Writ smiled, he started to get up and leave. There was some scheming to be done, mostly in trying to find a place he can call home. Oh, and finding a cell phone. Perhaps that would be next on his list.
"Well Izz, I'll find you when I need you, don't get yourself killed now, okay?"

Izzy nodded and smiled. He drank the last bit of his tea, leaves and all, before standing and slipping on his bag. "S-s-same to you..." He said, stretching. The scares tonight would mean he'd sleep well, at least... which was good, considering he had two drops on opposite ends of the city tomorrow."'And... th-thanks."
