Humans are self destructive they war and quest for power and once they get it they become set in there ways. So...you actually don't have a solution for getting rid of the towers after all. Simply creating an alternative will not inspire change. There is no power source as strong are obedient as soul since humans and demons will not be dying out anytime soon. The creators of that power know this and so does human kind, steam power does not compare to the potential of a soul change will not come simply because there or options. You someone who watches from where ever it is you watch your puppet should know this. Any more bright ideas?" Rayne said crossing her arms watching the strange demon floating around.

Rayne meant what she said she had no doubt that making another energy source would mean nothing unless the soul machines where destroyed first. So far the few sources where harder to come by and produced far less power then that of the soul witch could be harvested for years. Coming up with an alternative would be smart but at the moment not very important as there where still to many towers left standing. Unless the towers where gown most would not see the light. The humans would simply hide int here homes riding it out until the towers where fixed content going to and from work not seeing any bigger picture then having to pay the power bill the very one making the problem.

Rayne had recoiled and raised her hands flexed and ready use her claws when Claus had appeared in front of her. This demon was strange very, he was flaunting the power to levitate know the power of teleportation. What was next where rabbits going rain from the sky and bounce like basketballs? Though he spoke in riddles and seemed not to care about the topics he spoke he made some since. Rayne was young in demon terms so she new little about the old would maybe finding records on such historical use of power would be helpful. That was if any existed, as he said the demons apparently remodeled the place and tore down much of the old.

"What city know resides where dark clan once did? Maybe ill poke around though there is little chance of any information on such machines surviving whats the harm. I have nothing better to do, And after that tower deal laying low might be better then not." Rayne said she then started walking toured the edge of the cliff expecting Claus to answer or pop up somewhere close by.

A voice sounded in Claus' ear "you should move"

Hibiki had been listening to the conversation from inside the tent, wolf ears were not as keen as some but they were not to be underestimated, Hibiki crouched underneath of Claus aiming at the shadowed figure with his kodachi. Almost immediatly as he readied them, he threw them through the tent fabric spinning as they went.

"your reaction time is slow, you'll have to do better if you want to stop him" Shinzui said from behind claus' wounded leg. in his icy, devoid tone one might sense some amusement from the one eyed sooty furred wolf that had taken a seat.

A few drops of blood landed on Hibiki's shoulder as his kodachi clanged as they hit the ground. he crouched behind one of the support poles for the tent waiting for claus' reaction

"both me and the white one have been watching since you entered this land" shinzui said rubbing his scarred socket with his paw "did you think that you were the only being that didn't reside entirely in this world? that's foolish, there is still much of the world you are unaware...besides the point. As Kagai would say, we wolves like to lecture" Shinzui circled around Claus "more importantly, your lecture confused me, you talked about suffering and death of the living that would come of destroying the towers, do you not realize that having ones soul so much as touched, bring agonizing pain?"

"fool. his way is too messy, although before you leave, why do you hate the world before towers so much i wonder what is that is lost?" Shinzui smiled before dissapearing wence he came

Hibiki stepped outside the tent a second after shinzui left. he stared quietly at Claus.

//Claus then left Rayne and Hibiki to stand outside and watch as he went to the cliff face to continue his previous business. Afterwards he would head back and deal with the trouble over on the other side.//

Rayne moved away from her position retreating back half way hidden by a tent once the weapons flew from the tent claus stood on. She was not particularly happy with the way her conversation was halted there was more she wanted to say but regardless that time had come and gown. With her back to the few humans wondering about she watched and lissioned waiting for some kinda conclusion to the way things where going. Claus was reacting strangely not particularly going for a counter attack are a move to take down his attacker. Then there was the wolf he looked as someone kagai had described but the name was just not forth coming.

Once the conversation was halted and Hibiki walked from the tent an expression on his face telling her he assault Claus on purpose that was all she needed to know. This wolf was far two unpredictable she could not trust him not by judging from his actions. He seemed to think violence was the only answer to disagreement with his ideas. Remembering the way he basked in the after math of the towers destruction Rayne bet he enjoyed killing simply for the out come not entirely to support a particular couse.

As Claus left Rayne turned and moved farther from her where she had been watching and lissioning back to the statue on the cliff side.

"Things have a tendency to get complicated, guess ill check on any leads over in dark clan once i find where it use to be. later" Rayne said softly over to the wolf statue before leaping from the cliff.
