My bari sax is really bad about leaking, especially on really hot days.... Thank the merciful lord it has a spit valve on the neck, or i'd be so dead rofl for some reason, my alto & tenor don't really seem to have that issue, though I notice my tenor stand-partner Arek is always gets "slimed" xd

My French Horn used to leak through my bell and on to my hands. It is strangely mixed with my spit and the valve oil, resulting in dark green-ish liquid that has a weird feeling to your finger tips. (It smells like Blue Juice valve oil...)
My Trombone has to have its spit deposit place taped because someone broke it a couple of years ago (probably banging on the bottom on the slide or using it as a pole to walk up the hill). But the tape isn't helping out as much. It still makes a puddle of spit around my shoes without me attempting to blow the spit out.
The Bassoon doesn't have a leak on the instrument itself at the moment. But couple of reeds that I've made in double reed camp LEAKS. So when I'm rehearsing with one of the leaky reed for testing purposes, it has a little -tssss- sound going along with the note that I'm playing. But this one is an air leak, nothing too big.

whenever I open one of my sax's side keys, spit comes out. Everyone says I look like an idiot flailing my hand, trying to get it off.

Thank the merciful lord it has a spit valve on the neck, or i'd be so dead rofl for some reason, my alto & tenor don't really seem to have that issue, though I notice my tenor stand-partner Arek is always gets "slimed" xd Eh, the bari shouldn't leak so badly, I've only experienced problems with leaking after I've been playing for an extended period of time. It may have something to do with whether or not your bari is of good quality or not, because the one I play in school is amazing and lovely and great, then I think back to junior high, and it was total s**t. The thing leaked like there was no tomorrow from the lower keys, I had to share it with the grade seven player and he didn't empty the spit valve, so whenever I went to play I had to open the spit valve and there'd be a yucky little puddle of spit and other lovelies on the carpet. But I do have a really bad story to share from my junior high days. One of the trumpets hadn't opened his spit valve or emptied it in months, so when he did, out came this disgusting greyish goopey muck all over the riser, and it was really funny but gross at the same time. Dx

My bass clarinet leaks when I've played for a long period of time, so when that happens I have to thoroughly clean it out then I can play again.
