auS-e-Dude You guys couldn't have existed without the British. They practically founded everything. Well that isn't totally true either. I have some Native American blood. You have to wonder how the Native Americans would have fared without conquest. What would this nation be like right now?

I've always wondered this myself old friend, but it appears to simply be because they're a very arrogant bunch of chaps. Because we're totally not independent now or anything. Well no country is TOTALLY independent. Well we could live without the British. rolleyes Would life really be worth living if they didn't exist? My life is barely worth living anyway emo [/serious]

Actually I don't think I am British at all, but I am very European. Still, I am just trying to stay relatively neutral. America is independent, sure, but can you really win war? War kinda sucks for everybody involved.

Are you really that ignorant about history? While Britain did an excellent job weathering the Luftwaffe bombings during the Battle of Britain, the European Campaign A) wouldn't have happened without Neville Chamberlain signing the Munich Pact B) was won because of American and Russian penetration into German terrtory after Russia weathered an unbelievable offense on its soil. 26.5 million Russians died during the war. C) didn't involve Americans initially apart from economic and military support of Britain until our soil was attacked and we crushed Japan. tl;dr You defended your soil, but winning a war means beating an opponent.
