Azure's eyes sparkled as he listened to Dyas' shadows. That was how he felt, before they were young and there was so much pressure from Raken that marriage seemed out of the question for Azure, but now... now that the pressure seemed to be lifted, at least he hoped, now was the time for them to get married out of their own will, not his. "I want to marry you Dyas," he said searching out her hand with his and lacing their fingers. He was going to ask her in the near future, but first he wanted to think of a way to make it the best moment of her life.

She smiled, and nodded before resting her head back onto his chest. Fingers laced with his, the female felt whole. I want to marry you too Azure She thought to herself, the shadows still. Dyas closed her eyes, enjoying the moment for itself. What a wonderful surprise to wake up to.

Azure closed his eyes and relaxed, already working on planning the moment in his head. He was thinking about him and Dyas and all the times they had shared together before, reading Dyas' journal helped jog some of his earlier memories of her and he was just wondering how to make them all fit into a place in the big proposal day he wanted to make for her.

Just when the moment was settling, and everything was falling into place...A low growl sounded from the doorway. Her eyes opened to focus on the shadow hound. She had forgotten about him. ...oh no...

Azure swiftly sat up straight when he heard the familiar growl that had greeted him as he walked through the cave and then he spotted the matching shadow. He sighed, "You don't think we're going to be in trouble, do you?" They were both too old for this in his opinion.

The female shrugged, glancing only fleetingly at Azure. The hound wouldn't attack her, but that said nothing for the blue male. What was she going to do? Wait. Wasn't the hound made of shadows? Maybe she could... She focused, hard. Instantly the shadows in her room began to gather. More. Her own shadow and azure's moved to the center of her room.

Azure put a hand on Dyas' shoulder. "Hey... don't hurt yourself..." he watched her with a concerned expression on his face. He didn't want her to push her abilities too far.

"He'll hurt you!" The shadow mound cried, as she sat up. Her entire body became rigid as every muscle tensed. "that was his orders. Kill anything not me or family that doesn't leave!" It was to protect her from any wandering bears or pae like Amara. Other pae without malicious intent would leave at the hounds warning attack. She focused harder, squeezing her eyes tightly closed. Soon every shadow in the entire room was in the very center. Only then did it become clear as to her intent. The shadow lines of the growling hound began to waver. "When he disintegrates, run."

Azure could see the distress in Dyas so he didn't bother her about it more even though he didn't like watching her possibly get hurt. He slipped away from Dyas and kissed the top of her forehead before getting ready to dash off when the shadow disappeared. He hoped nothing would happen to her after he left.

Just a little more. Just a little more. Beads of sweat appeared on her forehead as she tried to grasp the inner darkness within her. Her father made it look so effortless. The hound began to loose its form, becoming only a mound of writhing shadows. It began to slip towards her pile. Now was a very good time to run

Azure darted off, not sure what he'd do once he got away, but he wanted Dyas to lose the strain of holding the shadow back as soon as possible so he ran even faster until he was just outside the cave. He hoped that was far enough away to not bother the shadow.

Even running it would at least take two minutes to get out of the deep cave. 1...2...3... It disappeared into the shadow mound. She was starting to get lightheaded. 10...11...12...within her inner mind she saw the large ball of darkness struggle in her grasp, trying to break free and return to natures laws. Maybe she wouldn't have to hold for two minutes, if she could just be certain she had destroyed Rakens link. She just had to make it something else. Slowly the mold began to take shape...before the inner orb broke free. Her eyes snapped open as her body tumbled forwards over the side of the bed. she couldn't take shape of people yet. Not yet. Even with few shadows. Everything went to their respective objects. And surprisingly...there was no shadow hound to be found.

Azure was making his way out of the cave as fast as he could, making his way through the paths that always confused him. When he finally reached the end he leaned over and panted, exhausted. Yeah, he really hoped he was safe because he wouldn't be able to outrun the shadow now.

So...tired...The female dragged her sorry body into a standing position, but her vision began to sway. Steadying herself with a hand to the wall, she started out of her room. She had to get to azure. She had to. Her stomach writhed as her legs trembled. The glow worms instead of helping, made everything a glowing whirl. She eventually had to sit down, back pressed up against the wall as she gulped down air. At least she knew the side effects of pressing herself too hard.

Azure sat down and waited outside the cave cooling off. He was unsure if he should stay or go. He listened carefully to see if he could hear anything inside, but he heard nothing. He definitely didn't want to go back inside after Dyas worked so hard to help him get out of there.
