Devlin gets into fights a lot, too. He just isn't often caught. When you can turn into a cat, slink through shortcuts and backways, and be in your dorm or someplace and look like you've been there for a while, it's pretty easy to have an alibi.
Mostly he just throws quips/insults, maybe a spell or two, probably grinning all the while like it's some fun sort of game.
When he really gets pissed off, he fights with his fists, not really with his wand. Unless he's really, really pissed, and has someone to remind him he's got a wand in the first place.
And if you've ever had a body part transifgured into something or another... well it's probably not very pleasant. xD

So after some deep, music-fueled musing, I've decided that there is a bit more between Remus and Mort. Perhaps a brief attempt at dating before Peter appeared.
Remus adores Mort's novels, and had them in a special showcase in his shop when it first opened. When Mort happened across the store, he was deeply flattered, and the two wasted hours discussing his books and the inspiration behind them, as well as Mort's divorce drama. Because his divorce (see the movie adaption of King's Secret Window) left him bitter towards women, Mort would have found Remus's sexuality an intriguing possibility, and after some serious bookworm UST, they would have ********.
I think that Peter should have shown up before it got serious, though, so Remus dropped Mort completely. Which has left Mort feeling dissatisfied and wanting. And since "Richard" is the only person Mort really knows in the area, he seeks him out often.

Ivanna's parents died when she was a young girl, about 3 or four. Probably war related, because she's only......... 28 or something? I kind of imagine her to have been in Charlie Weasley's year in Hogwarts. O_o
Ivanna was raised by a very strict Romanian Grandmother. Don't think she was magical, can't remember at the moment.
Ivanna was raised to be old fashioned, she was taught how to cook and knit and sew and stitch... but all she can make without an accident is stew, and she can crochet but you don't really want to be around her when she's got knitting needles in hand. She was taught how to dress for certain occasions and how to pretty much appear as high-class sort of woman.
Ivanna's grandmother used to punish her for growing too tall 'for a proper young woman' or not acting like a proper young woman, and never hit her or anything, or gave her horrid punishments, but had her do the wash and lots of hard chores and the things she said made Ivanna ashamed of being tall or doing this or that- of acting like something other than a proper lady at all. I think Ivanna's grandmother knewo f the wizarding world, because she also taught Ivanna about people she shouldn't associate with- such as lycanthropes and Giants and the like. Ivanna tries very hard to disregard these things because she pretty much likes everyone, but her grandmother's voice intrudes on her thoughts at times.
Ivanna was somewhat tall as a young girl but really sprouted up in Hogwarts, towering above other students and growing to 6' tall by age 14. She gained another 3-4 inches during the rest of her years.
She discovered a talent for beating when she was a third year, and took to it with a fevered zeal.
Ivanna's always been very clumsy, and appears very reserved and polite, like she grew up in the early 1900's. She's very shy about men and always dresses modestly, although after her grandmother died (when she was 19) she has steadily tried to get the old woman's words and voice out of her head and break away from the mental restrictions she has that prevent her from doing a lot of things.
Ivanna's got a bit of strength in her and a slap on the back from her will probably knock your breath out a bit.
She's a really sweet and bubbly person, earnest and somewhat child-like at times. She's fond of giving people bear hugs and is usually very... enthusiastic.
AFter Hogwarts there wasn't much she wanted to do besides play Quidditch, so she tried out and was accepted as second string on a College team (I'm assuming there are colleges? Otherwise it was just a lesser-known wizarding team) ... anyways, the Holyshead Harpies picked her up for second string, and she was moved up to first string beater in a couple of months, where she's been a terror on the field ever since.
She gets a sort of..... crazy glint in her eye when she's playing Quidditch, she grins and laughs, but will hit that bludger towards you so fast .... you really don't want any part of your body in the way of it. I think she's probably been penalized for 'excessive force' before, if that's something you might be penalized for in Quidditch.
I'm pretty sure she was a hufflepuff in school.
I don't think she's a 28 year old virgin, I think she did it with some guy she met at a bar when she was 23-24ish, and just kindo f went home with him and did it. She was probably dressed , quite boldly for her, in a knee-length skirt and top, and probably ended up hitting the guy in the face/gut a few times but he was drunk enough to get past that and they went at it.
In the morning she was probably mortified and tried to tiptoe out quietly...
and probably ended up tripping over a shoe or table and crashing over something, and then fled the scene while the guy jumped out of the bed shooting off spells in a hungover daze.
and then went home, all ruffled, sat on a chair in the kitchen with her high heeled shoes held in one hand, blinked a bit, and then giggled to herself.
I think she has a hard time making friends. I'm pretty sure My Harry knows her, but isn't really good friends with her.
One of my characters, Gavin, who is like the perfect texan rich-boy romance-story guy, is good friends with her, but just friends. They're like siblings to each other. :3
Ivanna loves her job though, and she's fiercely protective of people she cares about.... um... she loves her fans too, especially the kids. She loves signing autographs and really awnts nothing more than to play quidditch, have a good husband, and raise some kids. She'd love some kids of her own, but she'd make a great stepmother as well. She's just kid crazy and can't stand for them being hurt.
I think she'd even want to hug 3aters...... To um... make them feel better? Beacuse obviously they're so angsty because they haven't had enough hugs.
She tends to carry her beater's bat with her and sometimes threatens to hit peopel with it. Her wand is pretty large as well and serves the same purpose. :3
That's all for now. biggrin I'd recommend reading her back posts (Like I have to do now. xD) to get a feel for her mannerisms. There's also a few posts by her in Madame Puddifoot's tea shop in the guild.

GUH I love your backstory rambles omg. <3 Thank you, thank you! <333
I like her a lot. Kat and I have this strong urge to pair her with my Viktor, s'why I asked. XD <3 The muse be pokin' me something awful. HENCE MY INTENTION TO WRITE FICZORZ. <3 I might have to ask you to indulge me in a "Viktor is interviewing her for his show" scene. ^_^
I particularly like the fact that she acts like she was raised in the early 1900's, all polite and reserved. I can identify with that because often I work I talk like I'm in my late 80's instead of 20. My phrases and speech mannerisms are off.

8D THAT WOULD BE FUN. Yay roleplaying. :3
She tends to waver between polite and reserved and sort of 'very forceful in voicing her opinions when she sees someone mistreating someone else'
Um... like in Madame Puddifoots- She won't stand for the young man trying to bully Janine's character around and has no qualms about going around and hitting him on the head and telling him what for. She's tryign to break away from the strictly respectful/meek/non-willed kind of mentality her grandmother raised her on, but still be a sweet, proper, polite young lady the rest of the time. She likes to go out to bars and things, but hardly ever drinks too much because she's paranoid about getting too tipsy and doing somethign to embarrass herself. She doesn't want to be in the papers for doing somethign bad like some celebs/sports stars always are.
I imagine that, at home, she likes to hum and busy herself about the kitchen wearing an apron, baking... but I think she mostly eats out when it comes to real food because she just never got the hang of it and tends to burn things.
But her house is kind of dark and quiet, and it's the same one she grew up in, a small house that's rather old fashioned and that she never really redecorated. I think she even keeps her bedroom nice and cute like when she was a child- white sheets and blanket and pillows, like a little girl's room, but she hardly ever sleeps in there because the bed's just too short, and she goes to practice a lot and I think she mostly ends up sprawling out on the couch in her Quidditch gear most nights, unless she's been out to a club or something, then she'll just take off her shoes and kind of curl up on the couch and sleep. Her grandmother's room I think was left like it used to be, but she's put a lot of old stuff in the room as she slowly attempts to make the house her own, so it's filled up with junk and she hardly ever goes in there. It's probably all cobweb-y.
She believes that guys should show girls respect and treat them nicely, so long as the girl isn't one of those 'kinky' types who likes being pushed around. O_o She tends not to associate with 'questionable' people, more because of her upbringing and the voices in her head sometimes. But really she does like everyone, or at least would like to get to know someone first before dismissing them.
She's always somewhat more boisterous when she's in her quidditch gear, although, out of habit, when she's sitting she'll cross her legs properly even though she's wearing pants and pads and the like.
But she almost always wears a skirt that goes down mid-calf or dresses when she's out and about, she's not a pants kind of gal at all.
Yeah, she doesn't get into trouble or anything, but Quidditch is really her life and she's never liked coming home to her house because there's no one there to greet her, yet she can't bring herself to sell the place and move because her grandmother wanted her to live there and raise a family there. O_o It's got lots of metaphorical ghosts.
Teeheeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I gotta get her picture back up... good thing I made a tinypic account cuz my compy won't work with uploadingo n photobucket anymore. d:
EDIT: She also usually dresses very fashionably, she was taught by her grandmother to never appear 'frumpy.' But her style is sort of like she combines 'fashionable young woman' with a 1900's style sort of..... um... conservedness. :3 She developed her style on her own, and knows about all those girly things like matching and pretty clothes and what's 'new and awesome' x3

Kat's all big on shipping her and Viktor lol. Because though Vik and Claire are going to date, their relationship won't work due to Claire pining after Remus and Viktor wanting a family of his own while Claire's kind of done raising hers.
I think it's awesome that you're writing with a character struggling with themselves in terms of balancing sweet/reserved and being more outgoing and herself.
The description of her house makes me so sad though... D:

So after much struggling with Marcus over joining the team (which he purchased from the suicidal previous owner, who could no longer take such failure), Katie was finally accepted on the Chudley Cannons as a chaser. Marcus had a bit of an issue with her because she’s a girl, and ever since he’s gotten closer to his sister, he’s learned to treat girls properly - or probably a little TOO delicately, though you can’t expect Marcus effing Flint to do anything at a happy medium.
Katie hasn’t been able to get so much as an interview with an official team in four years, ever since a sex tape of herself and an unknown male was leaked online. It tarnishes the good, family-oriented name of Quidditch, you see. Blood, guts, and cheating, however, are perfectly acceptable. XP Other teams who didn’t give a s**t still wouldn’t take her because she’s a bit of a laughing stock - the video was obviously her first time, and it’s clear she’s twenty-six and incredibly sweet and nervous. No one can take her seriously as an aggressive player.
Much to her alarm, the first day she showed up to practice, Graham Montague was also there as another new chaser. Katie actually dated him (after he grew out of the whole “I pull girls’ hair and hurt them during Quidditch” thing like he did to her in school) and HE’S the b*****d in the video. She thinks he leaked the video on purpose, and therefore broke up with him not long after it was released. Truth is he didn’t, but there’s not much a Slytherin can do to defend his honor since they don’t usually have any.
But Katie didn’t say anything because she doesn’t want to risk losing this chance, and has therefore vowed not to ever bring it up, or so much as LOOK at Graham if she doesn’t have to.

Quote: (which he purchased from the suicidal previous owner, who could no longer take such failure), Teehee. That made me laugh. 4laugh Poor Katie, though. D: Bad enough to have a sex tape...... well at least she'll always have a record of her first time? For uh.. the kids? :3 Pfffthaw. Poor Montague though. D: An innocent person in all of this. THEY COULD HAVE HAD A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE! crying -------- The house sort of defined Ivanna to me- She comes home from a late practice, having delayed coming home for ages, hangs her coat and takes off her shoes, stares around at the dark, empty house for a few moments, sighs. She then retrieves an old carton of chinese food from the refrigerator, heats it up in the microwave a bit, then takes it and goes in the livingroom, turning on the TV to watch a soccer game or a show if it's on. A container of ice cream might join the chinese container on the coffee table later, and then she falls asleep with a blanket thrown haphazardly on top of her, the tv still going late into the night, still probably dressed in her clothes, her arms thrown over her head and covering her face. She'd really like to meet a guy, but she usually ends up being too... intimidating.. and scares them off. razz ----- Viktor is so hawt. <3 ... I can has Viktor/Godfrey prons sometime? *Puppy dog eyes of love* D8 (Hell I'd pay you for it. :3 IN ART. Or in some other manner. wink ) ------------------- KATIE AND MONTAGUE'S DIFFICULTIES IN FACING EACH OTHER SHOULD PROVE TO BE AN INTERESTING AND DRAMATIC PLOT. biggrin

LAWL, Cassy you crack me up.
Yes, yes they could have. Unless she tried to put him in a small room. He's utterly terrified of small spaces due to being lodged in that cabinet, and then a toilet, during OotP. I therefore want to put him and Mulciber in a box together and see what happens.
*Snuggles Ivanna* I really want to see how she gets along with Vik. If anything, they'd be bloody adorable friends. XD <3

He and Mulciber would cuddle each other for support. :3 Which would be adroable.
:3 Ivanna likes having friends. OF ANY SORT. <333

@Cassy: Yeah, he has issues with restrooms. He won't go in public ones, and the one he has at home has no door. XD
Naw, Mulciber'd claw his face off in panic XD He's worse than Graham. Graham just shudders and cries.
The best way to write porn is to just read a lot of it, I guess. XD I'm not all uber amazing but I think I do okay. You don't need any real life experience to write it effectively, no matter what people tell you; I've sucked d**k and it didn't change a thing as to how I wrote about it, except I make more 'ew' faces. XD
Here's a random question! What does Ivanna find romantic?
@Mike: So tell me more about Jhim Cresswell. :3 For I am curious.

Poor guy. D: He should live in a house that's all open and with lots of windows. <3 Fun. SEE THROUGH.
... O_o Awww... mulciber... 3
I feel awkward reading prooon. D:
----------------
Ivanna finds old fashioned things romantic. Someone giving her a rose, going dancing, having dinner, going to a movie. She always dresses nicely, and more-so when she's going out, though she attempts to be more 'casual' during first dates and such so she doesn't scare people off.
But Ivanna also likes going to bars and clubs.......... but she's not very good at free-style dancing, she usually ends up stepping on someone or punching them in the face with her flailing limbs. She's much better at slow dancing and traditional dances, but still rather clumsy.
I don't think she cares whether someone she's going out with has money or not, she'd actually like to meet a guy who was poorer but still managed to make himself look nice, because he cared about himself and his appearance.
She could go either way with people who are snobby towards people who are different or who are open minded. That's how she was raised coming in because her Grandmother had a low opinion of people of low class and those who had certain 'afflictions' ... like lycanthropy and being giants and stuff. She doesn't like thinking that way and hates the voice that intrudes in her mind a lot, and always tries to be the opposite- accepting and nice to everyone.
She'd go from anyone to a quiet, worn, remus-bookish type to a swave, well dressed, silkily speaking Lucius Malfoy type.
I don't think she'd stand much for being an a*****e towards other species/people but she'd take it up to a point, y'know, cuz no one's perfect.
And she likes someone who knows how to treat a lady. Yeaaaah.... and she believes that how someone treats their server is a good indication as to what kind of person they are.
If someone asks her out to dinner or something, she expects him to pay, but then she'll pay for the next date and so on and so on. She also enjoys picnics, going to plays and just going out and doing whatever. She likes to be engaged by someone, it doesn't necessarily have to involve money. :3

Hmm, lesse about Jhim. I'm trying really hard to make him different from my other characters, because I feel like a lot of them share a little too much in terms of personality and all... but ah...
His mother is a Muggle while his father is a Wizard, which led to a lot of weird fights and conversations between them as he was growing up, whether to send him to Hogwarts or not, which was silly because he clearly exhibited magic powers at an early age. His mother is sort of still weird on the whole magic thing, even though she's been around it for a long time. Just hasn't adjusted so it brings up arguements... let's see... Jhim definitely had a pet dog when he was a kid who got hit by a car because Jhim was playing fetch and threw the ball to close to the street, so that kind of haunts him...
He likes animals a whole lot more than people, which maybe is because he feels like he is too intelligent for most people, really thinks too highly of himself, kind of socially awkward. At school he has a pet cardinal rather than an owl or anything.
He's not so much bisexual as uncaring, not really interested in any real relationship with anyone, just using people as outlets and tossing them, really. Doesn't really have friends, just people he considers intelligent enough to talk to, haha.
I don't know, I really need to write for him or something to get a better feel, but needless to say he's kind of an a*****e. :3
ALSO, I have been meaning to ask, but why is your profile set to private Naz?
