Are we supposed to use the same deck through the entire tournament? Should we make a new thread for posting tournament decks + sideboards?

Are we supposed to use the same deck through the entire tournament? Should we make a new thread for posting tournament decks + sideboards?

To maintain a fair tournament we should use the same decks throughout the tournament. I think we should hold on posting what decks we're using until everyone's signed up, then post all at once or something so nobody could really change their decks to counter what we're all using, if you catch my drift.

Extended. Nice. Very nice. One thing, though. What's a nice substitute for Dark Ritual?

Say Cabal Ritual and I make those four slots Hatred. You don't want me to use Hatred.

Err..out of curiosity, how will it be held? On Gaia? Would we just have our decks out as if we were playing a game irl?

I might try my hand at it. My Lovely Dragon deck needs to be dusted off..

It also, unfortunately, comes out for a Dark Ritual. Plus, he just screams "Shock me! Shock me!". This guy is a target.

I assume it's going to mainly be held via Apprentice, but since not everyone has that medium, it isn't required. During each round, it will be up to the pairs onf players to decide what medium they will be using. As long as they honestly report the results, I will be satisfied with it. I'm tempted to request logs of the games, no matter the medium...

true, but not everyone runs burn. If you want mana acceleration, he may be worth the effort.

alternatively, bubbling muck can almost double your mana pool. triple it if you have 2.

Apprentice? That just went right over my head. What, praytell, is Apprentice?

A simple freeware program allowing people to play MTG online without cost. From experiance, I think it beats IM games most of the time. I have the Magic-League version of it on my poorly constructed website(link) if you're interested in checking it out. It may seem confusing at first, but it's really quite simple. I'm still trying to figure out how I'll use Teferi's Puzzle Box in Apprentice... sweatdrop

Yes, Light of Day is still legal for this 1.x season. It's an uncommon in Tempest and Classic(6th).

I'm guessing, with Bubbling Muck, you would need to play it before any other mana is tapped?
