Ramas' stomach was really starting to act up. he hadn't grabbed any food while at the market and he hadn't eaten in quite some time. ahh damn do i go get some food and risk missing her or do i stay and starve? He was in someone else's house as it was. It was nice but no where near as good looking as the manor looked from the outside. they aren't coming home anytime soon so who's going to know? Ramas left the window he was looking out of and proceeded downstairs. The house looked nicer than most of the places Ramas had stayed in since his father was killed. But it was smaller than what he used to call home. The stairs led down to a rather large study. It had several shelves of books but most of them were either empty or incomplete. There wasn't much in the study that was interesting to read either, most of it was stuff on elemental studies and astronomy. Nothing Ramas would have called a good read. The doors from the study led to a hallway which had several open doors to other rooms of the house. But at the end was the only thing that Ramas was interested in: The kitchen. And right on the counter was a nice loaf of bread that smelled as if it had been baked only minutes earlier. Either i came in just in time or someone is actually here. Oh well. Ramas stole the loaf and ran upstairs. Praying that the woman hadn't left while he was gone.

"My servants respect me very much, but I do not allow them to add a title to my name. I don't like formalities very much. I live here with all that you've seen so far and more, including my younger sister whom I take care of." he led her out to a large white table in the garden outside to the right side of the house and sat down in a chair. Shortly after he is seated, a servant comes over to him from inside the house, dressed in a set of black robes with a hood covering his face. The servant gives him a folder with papers inside and quickly leaves. Firomis opens the folder and begins reading the documents inside quickly. "It seems you and I have more in common than I originally thought. Your parents were also victims of Toren's raid many years ago, Miss Rain. Please excuse me for prying, I just thought that maybe I could assist you with your current situation. Fenix Derringer seems to want to get his hands on you, although the reason why is something not known to even me. I want to assure you that I do not mean to cause any harm to you, so please do not be frightened by what I've just said." he smiles politely at her.

The moment she turned, he was suddenly in front of her. "Is it really-" he disappears to a spot 5 feet away and behind her. "-so bad-" his voice almost echoing as he continues disappearing, this time 10 feet in front of her diagonally "-to let others-", then 7 feet behind her in the opposite direction, "-assist you?" ( "Is it really so bad to let others assist you?" in case it was hard to catch >_> )

He appears one last time, directly in front of her, their faces barely two inches apart. "I will not stop you if you wish to leave. I also promise not to interfere with your life anymore, so long as I don't see you getting hurt in front of my eyes. You may do as you wish, and walk your own path. But wouldn't your revenge be hindered if you ended up getting caught by Fenix? I have already lost a good portion of you trust by looking into your past. I bear no ill will towards you, and I sincerely wish to help you. Would allying yourself with one such as I bring your pride down so much that it is unbearable to even think about? My only wish is to see that those who have been directly affected by Toren's attack get a chance to avenge the ones that they have lost. After the ones who have been lost are avenged, we would part ways, if you so desired. Let me once again humbly apologize for intruding in on your past." he takes a step back and bows to her once more before a Davius, the head butler, walks outside. "Firomis, there is a raid of bandits currently heading for this sector of the city from the northeast gate of town. The local militia has already headed out, but I thought I should let you know about it."

Firomis' eyes opened widely as he stood straight up. "Forgive my Lady Rain, but I must tend to fending off the raid of bandits before they reach the city." he said quickly, disappearing almost instantly as he finished the sentence. In the far distance, a few hundred feet away, glimmers of Firomis' figure appeared and disappeared, moving further and further away each time. "Please do not think badly of my lord." Davius bowed to the woman. "Ah, the tea and food will be ready shortly." he smiled as he walked back into the mansion and towards the kitchen.

Firomis turns his head towards Kristin, a smile on his face. "Then let us take care of them together." Firomis chants something quickly and in a quiet tone before he suddenly is enveloped in a small whirlwind. The winds of the whirlwind throw the dust up around him, making it impossible to see him completely. The whirlwind dies down after a minute, and on his back there are now pure white, magical wings that were elegant to look at. It was clear to tell that they were composed of highly concentrated particles of air magic, but they were real nonetheless. "This is a technique I created myself several months ago." he speaks calmly as his wings flap slowly to begin lifting him into the air.

"Keep up with me if you can, Kristin!" he looks at her again with a grin as he suddenly disappears. The moment he disappears, there is a powerful sonic boom, creating a small crater in the ground followed by an even more powerful vacuum of air being pulled in the direction he flew. The grass, and everything else under thirty pounds in weight, is easily pulled from its resting place in the earth and pulled thirty feet away towards the northeast. In the far distance, ranging in at four miles of distance, Firomis' shining white wings are easily noticed as he brought down bandit after bandit with little effort.

Kristin was now looking a little more than furious. Her chanting didint last for long and she was by Firomis side, taking out as many bandits as she could. When all were on the ground, unconsious or dead, she turned to Firomis, ready to start yelling at him again.

Kristin took in a deep breath to relax herself. Then she looked in Firomis eyes. "You actually dont think that I'm strong enough for this...", she accused him, her voice was filled with hurt.

"Fine!", she said, while trying to calm herself down even more. "Who is following me? I can deal with him", she said in an arrogant tone. But then changed her mind "Nah! I'm hungry. Lets go back for that lunch"

Kristin picked up the feather and sat on a chair. She started playing with the feather, not paying any attention to what Firomis did.
"It's a little depressing if you live here all alone", she said, still keeping her eye on the feather. "I wouldnt be able to stand it", she added.
