"Great...I mean....actually I do mean great." Annan smiled at her, happy that she seemed to want to stay. He was so tempted to ask her to be his mate, but he was a little scared too. He would be really hurt if she said no. So, he just decided to bide his time, until he was sure she was ready.

Aponi looked at Annan and smiled filling with pride that such an amazing fox actually liked her maybe even loved her. This is like a fairy tale she thought to herself happily. She then remembered her hunger and started walking past him brushing her coat to his "how about we eat something?" she asked him trying to not stare at him in wonderment of what he saw in her.

"The fish is over on the rock, if you want some," he said, waiting for her before heading over to it. he picked up several fish and laid them before her, and then took one off the rock for himself. He could not understand why she seemed so surprised, he did love her, and he did not see why she was so unsure of herself. However, he thought it was really cute, so did not want to say anything.

"Thank you again you are very generous to me" Aponi said ducking her head in thanks. Walking over to the fresh fish and laying her weary feet down Aponi watched as Annan put the fish in front of her paw's and began to eat hungrily. After their meal together she lad out on her back stretching before rolling over to her side. "So what did I miss?" she asked playfully.

"Not much, that I can see. How is your friend anyway, the one you needed to tend to?" he asked, curious because he could tell that she took her job as a healer extremely seriously. He knew it was important to her, so even though it did not really affect his feelings, he wanted to show her he was interested in all the aspects of her, not just some.

"Oh I see pretty boring day then?" she questioned cocking her head to one side. Looking up to the moonlight she wondered if he would want to be more then friends but quickly snapped out of it when he asked her the question. "She was getting way better, her shoulder wasn't going to need much after the potential of infection was gone and I took care of that." she said business like before adding "I told her mate how to do it and that I will be by the river if they need me."

"Well, thats good, I am glad she is okay." he said, smiling over at her. "All I did was swim for a while and fish, and waited for you to come back. I am so glad that you did." he said, blushing a little, but far too happy that she was back to even try and deny it. He finished his fish, and quickly cleaned his paws of the little bit that got on them.

"Yes and she is very happy with her mate Fredrick" she smiled. "To tell you the truth..." she paused looking at the ground "I came here at first because I couldn't stand to see them" she looked at the ground afraid of his reaction. She looked back up at his purple face and orange eyes searching his face. "I found you and that's why I stayed" she added.

"I am so happy that you did. Would you be horribly offended if I told you that I want you to stay?" he asked, seeming nervous. He could not believe he was asking he this, but he was curious, and he did not think she would mind. If she did not mind too much, then he would ask her to be his mate soon. He did not want to rush her, but she made him happy and he wanted her to be with him.

"Thanks" she said happy that he accepted her knowing this fact about her. "No I would not, actually it would make me feel very very happy" she said eyes gleaming with happiness that her thoughts that he liked to have her around where confirmed. She didn't blush this time to happy to even feel embarrassed so this is what Cleo must of felt she thought happy to finally of fallen in love.

"Would...would you want to be my mate?" he asked, blushing bright red. He really wanted her to say yes, and he knew he would be very happy if she said yes. He held his breath slightly as he waited for her to answer, nervous and excited all at the same time. He shifted his weight back and forth, and watched her.

Aponi looked deep into Annan's eyes unable to speak and shocked at the proposal. Eyes gleaming with happiness with her fairytale ending she jumped up at once "Of course I will i love you" she said ecstatically. Walking up to him she rubbed against him to happy to be embarrassed no one could bring the love struck fox down at this moment.

"I love you too, Aponi," he said, rubbing against her as well. He could not be happier that she said yes, and could not believe that she really did feel the same way that he did. He could not stop smiling as he rubbed against her gently to try and show her how much he really did love her.

Annan looked over at his children adoringly as they slept. Alexandara and Coalan were both adorable kits, and he was very proud of them. He looked over at Aponi and smiled, noticing that she looked at them both protectively. "Our kits are adorable, aren't they Aponi?" he asked her, still smiling. He knew her answer, but he loved hearing the pride in her voice as she talked about her children.
