Aries nodded with silent agreement as the fight continued. As sided as this fight might be towards Tyrone, I would not put Kiro out of this fight. He said this of course after watching the smaller fighter dodge to the side of the massive sword and then began running up its length towards the senior fighter.

Good move... William thought of Kiros actions as he watched from the edge of the Arena.

Good move...

Tyrone again released his hold on the sword and swung his opposite, right, arm in to take hold of the handle. He threw the handle up, opposite the blade, which was still traveling down. This threw the sword into a flip.

Once Kiro had almost reached Tyrone's sword's massive handle, Tyrone flipped his sword handle up, sending Kiro flying high into the air. This doesn't seem too good. Kiro though as he spun a little in the air while still holding his two katanas as he reached the apex of the strength that sent him up. Kiro was now a good ten feet in the air above Tyrone.

"Can't maneuver in the air, can you, Kiro?" Tyrone called to him as he hovered momentarily above him. He reached forward with his left hand and grabbed hold of his sword by the grip. The sword stood almost straight up from the ground, where the point had dug almost a foot into the thick stone tiles of the arena floor.

"Oh, hell. This could be bad..." William groaned under his breath.

I hope Kimiko's on call today. We might need a medic...

Ty tore the blade free from the floor as he spun the sword up and over his shoulder, so that i rested almost against his back. He waited a moment as gravity pulled his opponent back down to earth, and then, when the timing was just right, he swung his sword up to intercept the falling swordsman.

Kiro sighed while he began falling from the air and studied Tyrone's movements. Kiro knew he was in for it now. Kiro brought both of his katanas up together so they were side by side in each hand and managed to twist himself around twice and at that moment, Kiro's two katanas along with the momentum from his recent spinning, made enormous contact with Tyrone's overpowering strength that loomed within his sword swing.

Tyrone's huge attack slammed against Kiro's two swords, but Kiro kept his grip firm on them, though in futile. Tyrone's attack was impossible for Kiro to stop and even worse from the position Kiro was in. After the hit, Kiro was sent flying across the arena and of the arena area. After Kiro's flight and lowering closer to the ground, he tumbled across the ground for about ten feet and then slammed against the stone stands, possibly cracking some of it.

Kiro gasped and coughed but slowly got to his feet, still holding his katanas. He knew he had exited the duel from going out of bounds so he didn't make any effort to make his way back. "Gahhh... That hurt..." Kiro groaned loudly and then coughing again. "I have to use the bathroom." Kiro suddenly asserted.

"Good match, my friend." Tyrone called to him, swinging his huge sword back up over his shoulder again. "And if you have to go, go."

"I suppose that could have been a lot worse." William said to Sol, who was being awfully quiet. "I'll have to make sure he goes in to see a medic later. Make sure he doesn't have any cracked ribs or anything."

Kiro didn't lounge around any longer and quickly left the arena area to the rest room, quickly sheathing his swords quickly as he went out of sight. Well, that was a bit embarrassing. kiro laughed at himself as he made his way inside the dormitories again to find a restroom.

Aries smiled, "It could have been, its a good thing their both well trained, isn't it." He looked at William his clouded sightless eyes matching up with his perfectly. "It was still a good match, was it not?"

At the moment, Aries' right hand was tingling, he wanted to fight, but he chose for now at least to hold himself back. No need rustling things up for himself already today.

"And Indeed, he should see the medic, and perhaps even the smithy. However, I doubt he'll need to make a stop in to see John, especially if his swords weren't damaged at all from the blows they took in the fight, they must be crafted very well."

"His swords should be fine. I've seen them take harder hits, believe it or not. Anyways, that only killed about an hour. What do you have planned for today, Sol?" William asked.

He had had every intention of training until evening. He didn't have any missions planned. So unless something came up spur of the moment he was on standby. Plus he was still waiting to see the results of the restructure. The higher ups were doing a reorganization of the teams within the Corps, so many people did not even know who they were supposed to be working with. William was one of them. He only hoped that Kiro would still be on his team, they had been working together for quite a while.

"Well..." Aries sighed, "Nothing really planned, maybe get some training sessions in at some point today, or maybe I'll just go for a walk and hope a fiend tries to get the drop on me." He grinned, "Then again it wouldn't be the best thing for me to kill a fiend if I didn't have a guardian with me now would it." Its true that Aries' necklace would protect him from the fiend's spirit, but it wouldn't protect anyone else if the thing ran off before a guardian could finish it off.

"Perhaps I'll challenge someone to a session with the blind man." Aries chuckled ever slightly. "Then again not sure who'd want to fight me, I'm sure some of the people here feel bad for me because I'm blind. Not that it matters, I can see better than most."

"You do know that there aren't many fiends in the area, Sol. They tend to stay away from here, they die too fast when they come here. Though if you really need the practice we could always request that we be allowed to slay one of the captive ones. I'll back you up. I am trained as a Guardian also, you know" William said. This was the kind of thing that he was looking forward to. And he hadn't ever fought against or with Sol before, so he might get to learn something about how the man worked in combat.

"I know there are few in the area, I walk from here to my families estate at least once everyday. Don't remember ever running into one." He smiled again, choosing not to continue on that what William had suggested was one of what he had in mind.

Aries continued, "Indeed, we could ask them if we could take care of one of the captives, it would be interesting, and if anything else it'd help us keep our edge in case something does come up. I have been feeling rather lax lately, I'd hate to loose my touch."

"Sweet, let's go." William led the way to the elevator, knowing that the 'blind' man would be able to follow him easily. He instructed the crank-men to take them to the lowest levels, which were several stories underground.

When the gate opened on the dimly candle and lantern lit dungeon level William stepped out onto the hard-packed earth floor. He knew that deep enough down it was stone again for the foundation of the building, but they kept it covered with a thick layer of dirt down here, better to soak up the blood.

He led the way through a corridor formed between large steel cage rings and down to a small 'building' set against the far wall. A rather plain looking man stood inside. He was balding on top and wore a brown suit and there was a rather thick file sitting on the counter top in front of him. He sat reading a book with a heavy, leather bound cover. William walked up to him.

"Hey, Harry, how's it going." William said to the man.

"Hey, Will, been a while since you've been around. It's going okay, Kinda boring down here. Not as much traffic down this way as there used to be." Harry said after he had marked his place in his book and set it aside.

"Too many of the Vets are too good at what they do, and surprisingly few of the rookies even know about this place." William said. "Anyways, I was wondering if we could get a consent to slay one of the captives?"

"Well, like I said, not very high in demand right now, so we've got almost a full stock. Plus you haven't been down here in-" Harry flipped open the file in front of him and glanced through it quickly. "-nearly seven weeks." He reached under the counter and pulled out a slip of paper. He flipped through his file to a page that wasn't filled yet and scribbled something down, then he scribbled on the note. He pushed the note across the counter at William. "There you go, Will. Cage 6."

"Thanks, Harry. Have a good one." William replied. He led the way back through the cages to the one labeled '6'.

"Here we go, Sol. Ready for some fiend slaying?" William asked.

Aries smiled, he had been following William throughout the ordeal, silently of course. Then as they moved from cage to cage he sighed, sensing the movements of the fiends around them.

"I'm ready."

Aries waited to follow William into the cage, Eturna in his left hand at an angle towards his right shoulder , but behind his back. He stared into Cage 6, waiting, waiting to have some fun.

William gestured to a guard that had been standing near the elevator and the man came over to the cage. The guard lifted the heavy latch and pulled the door, made of thick steel bars which left foot wide gaps between, open.

William led Sol into the cage and the guard slid the door closed again and bolted it. He then walked around to the far side of the cage, where a smaller, solid steel cage was built into the back wall of the larger cage. He began turning a crank on one side and a solid steel door in the smaller cage began to lift up.

Almost as soon as door began to lift snorting a grunting began to issue from within the steel cage. Scraping was also audible, then thudding. As the door lifted higher a tusked snout appeared under the low opening and began to thrash from side to side. More of the beast appeared as the door rose higher. A long blunt snout with a bare nose and forward jutting tusks on either side with large pointed teeth protruding from the lower jaw. A sloping head with coarse, dirty, brown fur and beady reddish eyes. More bone protrusions were visible along the back of the jaw near to the thickly built squat shoulders and just above short, thick, legs with hoofed feet.

Once the door cleared enough for its shoulders the beast scrambled out with a sound somewhere between a snort and a squeal.

"Here it comes, Sol. He's all yours, I'm just the Guardian backup on this one." William said and ducked around behind his ally as the beast charged at them.
