Llune sat with her mouth agape watching the first set of leaps from the wavedancers. And then the second. And then the third. And finally, after each of the three wavedancers had lept out of the water once, after the show was concluded and a few moments had passed, Llune applauds them and giggles as she does. **"Lovely, lovely!"** she exclaims breathlessly, both aloud and in an open send, **"That was just absolutely lovely!"** she finishes, before exhaling and looking around to focus on the others that are above the waves, blinking and trying to remember just what it was she was going to say before becoming so heartily distracted.

"Ahuhm...." she begins, then stops, because, truly, for the life of her, she can't remember what she was about to say. "Thank you?" she says uncertainly to Peyote as the pretty desert flower serves cool fresh water to the elves at the gathering, and surely Llune will get hers in a moment...

Peyote poured Llune her drink, when Llune didn't answer her question right off the bat. Thinking Llune was getting heat stroke or something, the villager hurried to get her her drink, only for the glideress to exclaim about something being lovely. With her back to the sea, Peyote hasn't a clue why llune is saying what she's saying, and so, with a bit uncertainity, Peyote replies, "Umm, thank you, but really... it's just a cup of water."

She holds out the cup to Llune.

Dancers face beamed as she watched each water elf fly out of the water. All she could do was send her feelings to them all. Directing them to the ones in the water she sent feelings of joy and admiration narrowing the send Crosscurrent also got affection. Still a bit might have spilled into the others sends as well. If so she didn't care she knew who would feel it the most. *Oh my sweet one you and the others are so magnificent to watch. I could sit here all day. It looks like dancing from the sea. It's so beautiful.* She could hardly wait to hold him and "dance" once more with him.

*Then come greet us. I don't think Tidalwave belives you swim like an otter* Crosscurrent teased in lock-Sending with a grin on his face as he swum gently towards the shore and surfaced his head. He was well aware that the hunter had held back from joining the party for them. It was only fair to allow an indication to go do so now that they were here.

*I can even help with air if you don't mind Fathom's playful teasing.* The memory making his Sendings warm as a hotspring. *Come bring the party to her for a bit. I'll help you warm up later.* Waving a hand towards Dancer as he let the mischievious courtship playout. For he had plans to dance later tonight when all were settling. When Fathom had found her own way to join in even if he had to carry her a little towards the beach.... not an unusal thing to do in his tribe, if not for the minor discord of the Gliders nearby.

Llune accepted the cup of water gratefully, and after taking a deep drink, heaved a sigh and a carefree smack of the lips. "No, no, Peyote, watch the wavedancers in the water, they've been doing lovely tricks!" Llune exclaims, pointing with her free hand out toward the vast deep. "And dearest, a lovelier cup of water this could not be!" Llune finishes, lifting the half-drank cup as if to toast water itself, before tipping it backward and finishing the rest.

"I have brought a few things to contribute to the gathering as well," Llune begins anew, now that she's hydrated again. She lifts one of the flower strands from the basket and shows Peyote, "Flowers to wear and decorate with..." She drops the flowers back in the basket and picks up a noise maker in each hand, "Some strange little instruments I devised," then rattles them loudly, but still a *bit* musically. Then, replacing the 'instruments,' she points to the little leaf-wrap-packet, "And also, a bit of special tea I have been saving for just such an occasion..."

The tea gives off a sweet aroma, clearly a berry medely, and anyone familiar with the scent if dreamberries MIGHT detect just the TINIEST hint of that aroma from the tea-packet, IF they had a VERY strong nose. Otherwise it just smells like an earthy berry tea of some sort.

Dancer felt her face blush at the memory of the shared air. It was such a wonderful moment. She was also glad Crosscurrent wasn't there to gin at her blush and make her do it more. Still her body was up and diving off the rock where she sat. On her way to the one who beckoned her. *Come for a swim everyone!* her mind called to the others on the shore still. Though the current might fight and she might tire before reaching him Dancer would not stop till she breathed her last or reached his waiting arms.

Autumns joy

PostPosted: Mon Feb 09, 2009 9:27 pm

Autumn could swim but a stream was a far cry from the vast deep. She would go in a bit but nothing like Dancer did. Keeping herself to where she could always touch the ground under the water. *No deeper for me thank you.* was all she said and looked to see if anyone else would go in.

Peyote blinked in confusion until Llune pointed out the wavedancers. Turning, she peers over, and squeaked a soft little, "Oh!" of surprise at the sight. Turning back to Llune as she brought out item after item, the villager tried to spare glances at the waterbound elves, surprise and awe on her face.

Dewpaw ran after Dancer and Autumn, not stopping until the water forced her to slow down. She dove in, rather clumsily, and swam underwater, eyes shut tight to the salt water. When her chest began to burn for air, she surfaced, a bit away from Autumn. She found she couldn't touch, but that didn't bug her that much. What bugged her was the strong smell of salt that she had yet to get used to. She sneezed a few times, her noses twitching with every breath she took. *Can you not smell the salt?* she sent out openly, but the send was aimed more at Autumn and Dancer who were both in the vast deep.

Creek didn't leave his place near Pey and llune. For some reason, he felt like he should hang around. However, he did let the pull of the waves grow stronger. He liked the feeling, and it calmed his beating heart. The beating heart he got whenever he was now close to Pey. He was sure that it wasn't the Recognition anymore, because the joining was over. So it had to be more. It felt liek it had before, with Weaver, his lovemate for a time. He watched Pey care for Llune and stare in awe at both the items adn teh wavedancers. He put a hand on her shoulder, "You should go have fun. I'll care for Llune." Peyote seemed like the type that would put herself last, and Creek didn't want that to happen, especially not today. He added softly, "It'll be practice for caring for you."

Peyote turned her face to Creek as he placed that gentle hand on her shoulder. As she did, a smile blossomed to her features, cheek dropping down and cheek lifting up to put hand against cheek.

"Okay," she agreed, cheeks darkening slightly, as her eyes grew pleasantly lidded, but she didn't move immediately.

Creek's hand moved to Peyote's cheek, his thumb lightly caressing it as a blush rose on his own cheeks. He stepped closer to her and leaned down, diving her a light kiss on the other cheek. "Go have fun," he whispered, his voice only loud enough for her to hear, and Llune if she was really trying to listen. He gave her a second kiss, then let his hand fall to his side.

As usual, Llune's not paying very close attention - plus seeing all that smooshy stuff going on between the two of them would make Llune feel a little uncomfortable in the first place, so it's a good thing she's prattering on about what she blended in with the tea and just precisely *how* she put together the different noise makers, and, well, you saw her fall, but "see how well everything turned out even so? And perhaps we should hold off on the tea until after everyone's had a chance to eat - it's really more of an after dinner thing afterall... And my my my, doesn't that smell delicious, (even if it is meat)...."

A gulp of breath and Llune begins to turn back toward the blushing couple, missing the sweet kisses but noting their relative closeness. Oh, my. Llune pauses, trying to push back her empathetic blush and focuses on the cup of water in her hand. "When do you think we should call the others out of the water to eat?" she asks Peyote simply (as Pey is, afterall, in charge of all that racket). Llune doesn't glance up at the couple, and instead looks steadily into the bottom of her cup as though she's trying to make out what's fallen into the bottom of it (although nothing has).

*The salt is a small bother cub!* Dancer chuckled to her while she kept swimming. Once she reached Crosscurrent she grabbed him in a fond embrace and placed her cheek to his. (Much like she greeted Fire Bright.) After that she looked to Fathom and Tidalwave. *You both looked so lovely. Everyone who saw I know enjoyed it.* Her joy and warmth flowed freely along her send. She was happy and always wanted others to be as well.

Peyote leaned her cheek up to Creek's caress, a soft smile to her lips. Llune's question is heard, and replied to in a dreamy, sing-song type of voice, "Hmm..yeah..I'll go call them." Stepping backwards, Peyote gives one last smile to Creek before she turned and movedt o check on the feast. Assured it was near ready, the villager cupped her hands about her mouth and called out:

"Dinner's ready!"
