Ino breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you. Have they found any more clues about Akats-"
Shikaku, Shikamaru's dad, came around the corner and called to them to get their attention. "Excuse me, Ino, but can I barrow my son for a bit?"
"Um...sure."

Shikaku spoke in an urgent whisper. "An enemy ninja has been spotted near the village and may possibly be in it already. This ninja is the one that Genma, Ino, and I failed to capture on our mission." He showed his son a photo of the man. "We believe that he may be after Ino to finish what he started. We already have our ninja on the lookout, but just incase, I want you to keep an eye on Ino and make shure she's not alone. Tsunade already sent a message to Inoichi, giving him permission to return from his mission early."

His eyes became dead serious. "I see. Well, to put things simply, Genma and I had our hands full with the other ninja and Ino went after the leader while he was trying to get away. She hid herself and used the mind transfer jutsu to capture him so we could bring him in for custody. However the man managed to jump out of the way so Ino was left defensless...and he found her. When we got there, she was gone. We spent several hours looking for her, finding her just in time. He had tied her up and had stripped her bare. He took off when we got there. If we had been any later he would have raped her. Ino was quiet the whole trip back so Genma and I were a little worried."

Shikamaru stood there completely silent just thinking 'that guys a freak.' "ok i understand, so when does my mission start?"

"It starts now, but don't tell Ino. I don't want her to worry about him. And since her mom is away visiting a relative in another village, you two will be alone for a bit. Yoshino will pack you a bag of clothes and such and will bring it over to her house." Shikaku turned to leave but then stopped and pulled something out of his pocket which he then handed to Shikamaru. "Oh, and remember, if you do it, do it safe. Ja." The man left in a hurry, not wanting to make a scene when his son figured out what he just ment. The item he had given him was square and flat but had something ringlike inside. Shikaku chuckled.

"DAD THATS NOT FUNNY!!!!!!!!!" Shikamaru shouted as he stabbed a kunai with bomb paper attached to it and threw it in the direction that he saw his father go.

Shikaku mearly ducked and the kunai flew past him, embedding itself in a tree not to far away. Shkikaku took a different path and dissapeared.

Shikamaru didn't expect to actually catch his father because he knows about his skill. Shikamaru sighed as he turned around looking at Ino. He then walked towards her and sat down beside her. "so what do you want to do now?" Shikamaru asked ino.

"Time to see what he can do" *makes a shadow clone* "go to the village gate and look to see where the kuibbi (sp?)boy is" Shimma said as she smiled
"inform me when you see an akatsuki person or the boy" *jumps down from the rooftop in front of the person and attacks him with her dragon sword while the clone goes to the village gates*
