Rabid shut an eye and hurriedly patted her hair down. It refused to listen adn stayed up.
"Frizzpot," she muttered, and then looked toward the boys and awaited a reply.
Malachi gave a final sniff and nodded, smiling. He patted Mummy's arm where he'd swatted her.
Rabid ruffled her son's hair and patted Reid's leg. She stood adn turned to make her way back tot eh table. It was best to leave Malachi alone after a flare-up...
Malachi grabbed a nearby ladle and, not taking his eyes off of Mummy, gave the pot a swift thwack.
Rabid's ears twitched and she paused for a moment, but soon continued her stride to the table. She had to let him do it...didn't she...?
Malachi giggled and picked up another ladle, offering it to Reid.

With a laugh Chao followed, silently noting that they'd both probably doomed themselves. But ah well, such were the things earplugs were invented for.
"So I suppose we should begin the tedious task of sound proofing rooms, ne?"
Reid smiled and took the ladel happily when neither of the adults turned and yelled again and swiftly thwacked the pot again, glowing warmly again.

Rabid cringed, "If all goes well, they'll be playing instruments as toddlers. My buddy Liam was playing piano at three." She cringed at the noise and sat back in her seat, her hands clapped over her ears. "At least they're happy."
Malachi squealed with what he thought to be the same tune as the pot-banging. it was off-key, of course, but close enough to satisy himself.

Buzzing about Aphrodite beelined her way into the room, she turned around and encircled Malachi and Reid, the knowledge and skill to fly was far from her grasp at this point. "Ike! Ike!" She squeeled and thus collided with his head. A normal greeting from Aphrodite.
Catherine tried her best to keep her eyes on Aphrodite and on her new cellphone Lemon, who was circling around her feet speaking in the voice of her sister no less. "Bellah-ROSE! I told you I'm not comming home this hallow's eve.. I've got plans." She furrowed her brows at the small cat-cellphone that danced around her feet. She stumbled a bit trying to step over it.
" Oh But Cattieeeee.... " The voice whined still making the tiny robot dance around.
"No but Cattie me. Tell Grans I can't come," She slumped. "I have more important concerns." She smiled thinking of Salem, her eyes drifting towards her happy baby. Her smiled grew wider with each happy image that flew across her mind.
" Like what you're little bug and that hideous cat creature? " The voice was more careless.
"Lemon, hang up." Catherine's voice was cold, frowning she made her way towards Rabid and Chao.
"Cert'in'ly Ms. Moonfire!" A much sweeter voice chimed in and a click could be heard. "Boy was she a brute!"
"Thanks Lemon." Her smiled reappeared on her face kneeling a bit to pet the cat-bot. Turning her head to Rabid and Chao. "I'm sorry about that... My sister's not the nicest person."

Azumi opened the creeking door to the HQ and was greeted by a such a scene! Wine hued orbs looked and studied all the different little decorations and how the whole HQ seemed to have been transformed for this event. Fixing her glasses, she ushered Osso in front of her and let the door fall shut on it's own.
The bone child gripped his mother's hand as he gazed around wil hollow eyes. This whole set up was amazing and had put the young boy in awe. Never had he seen something so decorated before! He had helped his guardian with putting some things up in their house, but it wasn't as elaborate as this was.
Taking a few steps to the right he changed his grip from his mother's hand to her black tail before attempting to poke at what seemed to be a plastic spider. When his finger came in contact with it though, the thing came to life and let out a igh pitched screech and set Osso walking backwards and crashing into Azumi.
"Careful dear," she assured him before walking forward and towards the voices of people.
The high shreek not only alarmed Osso. but also the TWO little companions on each shoulder; Klaz and the new member, Riru.
The two black furred imp gwipples peered at the spider while Klaz clicked and Riru moved forward and onto the boy's forearm. Her golden eyes glittered and glared at the now silent and still thing before clinging to Osso's arm as he trotted back to Azumi's side.

Salem slipped into the room after Cath, nearly bumping into Azumi, "Excuse me, sorry!"
Quickly he came up next to Cath, glaring down at the little yellow and silver cat-phone. "You're related to that? If I didn't know you had nothing to do with her sisters behavior I'd kick you in the nuts and bolts Lemon..." Noticing the terrified look the little thing gave him he felt guilty and kneeled down, gently petting the little cat-phone. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scare you... I won't hurt you, I promise." He offered an appologetic smile to the little robot which it happily accepted, going about it's marry little way again.
Now that he'd patched that up he got back off the ground and looked around. Cath had told him a good amount about this place during the short time she had been working with him and he had grown curious about it and wanted to see for himself. Hmmm... He chuckled as he saw Aph slam head long in greeting into a pale little baby with a fluffy white tail. That must be Malachi. And that other little brown one is Reid. Oh! He hadn't noticed the skeletal kiddie with the young lady he'd nearly crashed into earlier, he had to be Osso! It was nice to see so many people with happy little babies. He had just established his own adoption home for magical creatures, he could only hope that he'd be seeing all his little ones have happy families like these. "Thanks for inviting me Cath. This is great."

A shy smiled crept along Catherine's face. "I.. I just wanted you to see what I was talking about." She shrugged nervously, Salem made the butterflies in her stomach have seizures. She stopped for a moment to take a breath, smiling and waving to Azumi and Osso. Though she didn't know them personally on occasion she'd see them in the hallway. She did take tie to remember it was Azumi and Osso who left the Emily doll for Catherine and Aphrodite.
Catherine turned to her head back to Salem, her now short hair bounced with her movement. "I hope we have fun."
Lemon danced about making his happy little way to the children, no on purpose mind you. He was on screensaver mode. " La la.. la la.. doo! Oh yeah! doo doo whop! Zing zip! Lala.. shwaaa lop! Loooo lop! Doodie!" He sang as he spun around in a circle.
Aphrodite clung to Malachi's face for a moment, nuzzling with pure joy. Blinking at the sight of Salem, she squeeled removing herself from Ike's face and colliding with Salem's head all the while screeching. "SAAAAAAAAAAAY!"

"Cath... Babe... You're cellphone is nutters..." He stared after the dancing, spinning, too-happy-to-be-healthy cat-phone. "I'd tell you never to feed that thing sugar again if I didn't know it doesn't eat... Is it always like th-ACK!!! Oh, hey there Aph! How you doing Sweetie?" And as he always did he produced a chocolate chip cookie from his pocket and offered it to the tiiiiiny baby clinging to his face. He always had a bag of them in his pocket. Ironicly he also always carried a pack of cigarettes in his other pocket along with a small lighter, but he didn't smoke indoors and never around children of any kind. "You behave yourself, alright Sweetie Pie?"

"Saaay." She said affectionately, nuzzling her cheek into his, ignoring the cookie completely. Why would she eat it if she wasn't hungry?
Catherine laughed a bit at the collision and smiled at the recovery. Not minding Salem and Aphrodite for a moment she realized Lemon was a bit odd, oh well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. She sighed a bit. "Lemon, wake up."
"Yes ma'am!" The yellow and silver cat-bot stopp in mid-spin.
"Can.. you.. sing something a bit more festive?"
"Sure! " He stopped and composed himself, opening his mouth wide. "WEEE Wish you a merry christmas! We wish you a merry-"
"Lemon!"
"Yes?" He stopped looking up at his master with a happy dispostion.
"It's halloween."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
He stopped for a moment, his harddrive whirled to live searching for any songs under the topic 'halloween.' "... I don't have any halloween songs in my database."
"Oh. um.. Go on to the computer in the room and download the nightmare before christmas soundtrack, that's a good start."
"Rightie-oh!" Lemon skipped away and out of the room.
Catherine took a breath of releif, and then noticed the cookie offering. "Salem, you're going to spoil her appetite!" She frowned, her tone wasn't harsh but it was a bit upset.
Aphrodite blinked looking at her mother a bit confused, why was she sad? She blinked at the cookie and grabbed the hand that Salem used to grasp it and buzzed with all her might to push it towards her mom. She figured that iwas because Salem gave her a cookie instead of Catherine.

"Thank the Gods, it's gone... Hmmm? What?!" He pouted innocently as he was scolded for giving little Aph yet another cookie. "She's fine! She... Hm...?" He blinked as he found his hand being pushed lightly. Looking down at the little wasp-babie he did his best not to laugh. She had to of been pushing with all her strength. Cute. "You wanna have the cookie instead, Cathy-Baby?"

Her cheeks shined a vibrant tomatoe red as her eyes went wide and her classes became askewed from sheer embaressment. "Yes I do declare I want that cookie." she made a face, it seemed almost frustrated in appearance as she snatched the cookie and munched on it with a very odd expression on her face.
Aphrodite blinked looking at her mother very confused. "Say! Mama sill-ee" She declared as she pointed at her mother. To her opinion her mother looked confused and constipated if that could ever be done.

"Um... Ooooookay." He didn't really know what to say about Cath's cookie eating. It kinda looked like when Iye was eating and you got too close to him... Aw well... "Hey, Aph, Sweet Heart, why don't you go... Um..." He was about to tell her to play with the other children, but the thought of tiny Aphrodite going 'squish' very quickly shot his sentence dead where it stood. "Uhhh... Look! Look Aph!" He pointed down at his tail which he promptly started to twitch. He could only pray that she was as ADD as most little babies at her age. "So... Um... How's my... Should I say 'good ol' Uncle?"

She blinked staring at the twitching tail as though it was some seperate entity, she flew over towards it slowly and pet it gently. "Taay."
Catherine blinked, wiping her mouth of crumbs and blinked at him. She then shrugged. "As chipper as usual... but he's just being fussy, that's all I supposed." she really didn't like talking about Baxterfullous's mood swings. "He changes from time to time... but sometimes the simplest things sway him from sweet to sour."
The twitching tail got boring fast and she frowned, she wanted to play with Alphonse. "Mama! Mama.. Wahn Al! " She said flying from Salem's tail to her mother's side, clinging to her face. "Wahn Al!" She said again, she seemed to look a little lonely and wanted to play with her dear friend.

It worked! At least for the time being... He bit his lip lightly as he got his response, he hadn't meant to upset her or anything... "Um... Yeah... Sorry about that... Uncle Bax isn't the cheeriest guy around I guess... I just haven't heard from him in a while and was wondering. Sorry..." He sheepishly scratched at the back of his neck. He blinked as little Aph decided that his tail wasn't so interesting after all and flew up to her Mommy with the sniffles. He was a little unsure of what to do now... He didn't know if Cath had brought that toy along or what to do if she hadn't.

Catherine blinked a for a moment. "It's.. ok." Another blinked and thus the treasure hunt in her book bag began! Digging past a few things she grasped her hand around the Alphonse doll, emerging from tiny diapers and extra sets of clothes. Closing the bag, she tucked the doll under her arm and cupped Aphrodite gently towards her cheek. With her free hand she grasped Salem's leading him towards a round table that close to Chao, Rabid, and the ladle bangers. Taking a seat she propped up Alponse amking him sit up right, settling aphrodite infront of him.
"Al!" She squeeled crawling over to her dearest friend! Doing the best she could she hugged him around the waist. "Al, yu ly 'ere ah mah mish-ap? Di ly 'ere." She said quietly and thus began a conversation with her silent companion. Or was he silent? Maybe not to Aphrodite, but yes to the rest of the world. She explained to him in her with her broken words and sentances about how the white fuzzy baby was Ike and how she didn't know who the glowing baby was or why were they clanging the big spoon thingies. She pointed to Salem and then whispered to him something that was incoherent, but made her giggle quietly.
