Nuna There's a DA club account now? Yup! Figured we would need one anyway to let the peeps on DA know, so I went ahead and set it up. =D Cartagia So if we want some commissions added to the club favorites we PM you some links Kat? :3 Yup! @clock: Got 'em! The problem with the three is they do have so many characters in them. It is important that we can readily see which character belongs to who. Having a lot of random characters that do not belong to club members would be awkward. So, no mass uplodage images, unless they are all yours. y_y And on another note... we needs an avatar! xO When I think about this site/club/theme it makes me think steam punk, since it is victorianish stuff. So, have a twist of that along with the cabinet of curiosities bit. Thats the way my mind is wandering as far as the visual theme for this whole thing. If someone thinks they could make an avatar, and maybe even a matching stamp, based on that sort of feel go for it! Also, I am happy to announce we actually came out with a decent acronym, TCOC. Yay us!

TCOC, like Tea c**k? But yeah, I guess I agree about mass upload pictures in that regard, it could be weird. Didn't think of that. IN OTHER NEWS I AM REALLY NOT SURE HOW RANDOM THIS WAS?

At least I'm not the only one who thought of "c**k"... It's semi-random. You see, the first one is selected at random, the rest are in order that they were favorited after the first random one. It takes a load off the server. Random selection is a b***h to program (O(something horrible) for you Comp Sci people out there), and it takes forever to execute. (It's never truly random, anyhow. After some point, you'll see the numbers cycle.) If all four were random, then it would take four times as long to load the section of the page. And sacrificing pure-randomness for speed is probably a wise choice on part of DA. I mean, I'm not taking algorithms right now. ninja

AHA. That makes sense, yes. But makes dA's insatiable love for Mekania somewhat less hysterical...
ALAS!

Yay! It is already stirring up activity. x3
@Cartagia: I know! Steam is love. <3
@clocktock: I KNOW! It seems to do them in segments like that, so its usually just four of one person's characters showing. x-x
BUT! It is cycling through who's characters its showing at least. Its not just the same ones. y-y
@Clock: *nod* Its a shame because some of my faves are massuploaded. y_y
TCOC means tea c**k? Is it some term I do not know? =x
--- Edit
Oh... man. We are just short the K for c**k. xD I see it now! *dies giggling* It is a subliminal message. =D

This makes perfect sense to me. Althooooough dA picking some of the classier images of her to showcase is a little OOC, no? wink (probably more to do with Kat's choices than dA's though) T-COC(K) is how I read it too.

I love it, a perverse in joke. <3
We cannot showcase every single piece, so we need to present our best! I am picking pieces I feel shows a range of various styles while expressing our exceptional taste and wonderful character design. I am putting a lot of thought into it really. Its sort of creepy. =x

3nodding Fair enough! Personally speaking, however, I'd like to see a few sketches in there. I really love sketches and, while full-colour work is fabulous and beautiful, I think a good proportioned and interesting sketch is just as good. I wouldn't like to make artists who only sketch or line feel unwanted. Obviously, though, we want the gallery to look good and beautiful so perhaps just a few of the favorite, the very best?
Maybe? :3;

Maybe? :3; As a b/w artist, I'm going to second that. I mean, it's a sketch where you see if an artist really "knows what they're doing," so to speak. Color is one thing, anatomy is a definite other. I've received a number of sketches actually better - often more dynamic and anatomically correct - than "full" art pieces.
