Sterling stopped when she heard the rebuff from the little one. She turned looking down at him even so bold as to move towards him her hands on her hips. It was apparant she didn't know the word caution or common sense.
"Listen here you little brat. In this world you need a mother and a father to be created. YOU and your friend here aren't normal. Both of you were created in these laboratories. YOU are nothing more than an experiment." She hissed at him glowering at the brats.
Pepper had stopped munching on his food when the woman approached, and though he didn't understand what she was blathering about he didn't like her tone. Offering a growl he curled his lip back revealing teeth.
Sterling looked at Pepper glowering at him as well. By all rights...this one should of been dead. Everyone working on this one knew of Vampy's rage and the destruction of the tube he had been contained in.
"Neither of you should exist...and yet here you are." She continued before moving back to her companion.
"yes...lets go find our...'boss.' I need to vent."

Luthor froze in place, eyes going wide, and he hung his head thinking on it... and on what his Auntie had said. He didn't have a Mother... he had Almas and that was it. Just a Daddy. He found himself stepping closer to Pepper, reaching a hand out to lay it on his shoulder, "No... don't bite her. I am sure shes bitter and will hurt your stomach." He murmured to his companion.
Hunter looked over at Sterling then gave a chuckle, "Your such a cold one aren't you." He said with a laugh, "Making kids cry... come on then, lets go and deal with Vampy shall we?"
Luthor glanced over at him and couldn't help but feel... amusement. Vampy was more terrifying them these two, huge and scary, a monster... surely he would eat these two.

Pepper only growled like a dog he didn't like the woman...not one bit and the fact Luthor was making his stop was annoying as well. What a pansy.
Sterling only snorted and nodded her head.
"Yes lets get a move on. I don't need to waste my breath on these two." She muttered moving back over to her companion and gathering her items then headed for the door.
Pepper watched their every move until they left and then looked back to Luthor and looked disgrunteled. "....room..back..now.." He managed to say. He was tired...and wanted to go back to someplace he felt safe.

Luthor nodded before he led the way back to where they had left Almas. He wanted to get far away from them and closer to his Daddy, wanted to snuggle in his arms and forget all about that stupid, mean woman and what she had said to him...
As he and Pepper went into the room the Fallen was waking up, looking over at the pair, "Mmm, Luthor? Pepper? Where did you go?" He asked, rising up out of the chair took two steps toward them, then looked around the room... at the shredded pillowed, the broken up chair, and then to the boys, "Are you two alright? Were you playing some sort of rough game?"
They both looked to be in one piece though, whatever it was that they had done while he slept... though how he had slept through their game was beyond him.

Pepper followed Luthor back to their room though was startled as Almas came awake. Assuming he was like the others he wasted no time charging at Almas' and latching himself to his ankle. A new literal term to ankle biter...
He wasn't biting hard enough to draw blood...it was more like a warning bite. He had a strange desire to protect Luthor. the other adults has been mean. SO he wasn't going to wait for more meaness to start.

Almas let out a sound of surprise, flailed his arms, and then ended up falling over and landing hard on his backside. He looked down at the boy that was holding onto his ankle with his teeth and lifted a hand up in slow manner, "Ahh... Pepper... its not that nice to bite." He said, looking a little unsure, looking over at Luthor.
Luthor walked over toward Almas, eyes looking a little watery before he hurried over to him and sort of pounced the Fallen as well though he just held onto him tightly instead of bitting, "T-The woman... s-she said we shouldn't exsist... said we were just built a-and..." He gave a sniffle and clung to his Daddy.
The Fallen looked at the two, one clinging, one biting, and then gave a sighing sound, "Poor things." He murmured, stroking both of their hair. He wondered who they ran into, Techs no doubt... damn people he thought feeling the desire to find the woman and yell at her... instead he just sat there, unable to really go anywhere with the pair holding onto them as they were.

Still growling Pepper released his hold once Luthor had him. He was much too tired for all of this. His brain hurt... moving he skulked his way to the bed.....and then went under it and curled up and fell asleep instantly.

Almas lifted Luthor up, carrying him over to set him on the bed so he could curl up as well. He knelt down to check on Pepper before he set to cleaning up the room and the awful mess that they had made. He'd of asked them about it had they both not been upset and exhausted... he would let them off this time he decided.
