Sakura would nod as she would try to bite and chew on her own. She did not know if she could or not, but she tried. Her energy was low but not enough so to keep her from doing this. Her body then would function just enough to let her take a bite from the fruit and chew without choking. She could even nod now as she held the fruit for now. She wasn’t sure for how long before unconsciousness would take her.

Mara gathered the fruit for them and brought it over to her brother and Sakura. "Here you are." she said smiling. "Gouki-chan," Mara said looking at her brother, "Could I try something that might give her more power?"

Kyoji chuckled. "Well hello there, little miss." He said to Ayaka. He looked up at the sky. "It is starting to get a little dark." Kyoji looked at Cho with a smile. "I think we should set up camp soon. While there isn't any time of day that's safe anymore, it would be foolish to travel at night. They get worse at night." He said keeping a hind on the hilt of Muramasa.

Cho nodded, "Yes, and Ayaka will be your best friend forever with the suggestion." Cho knew what the child wanted, and it seemed that daylight was running out of them. There was a clearing off to the side of the road. "Do you think that wuld be a comfortable, suitable place?" Cho asked looking at Kyoji, "Or do you know a better place to be?"
Ayaka was already in teh clearing gathering twigs and branches for a fire. This had been her job while her mother set up the camp. After piling the wood she found Ayaka ran off in search of roots and berries that her mother could cook up for them to eat.
Cho smiled, "She really is a good girl." she said softly.

"This will do fine. There's not much else along these ways." He said with a smile. "There isn't much around here, though if my memory serves me right, there is a town along this road, if absolutely necessary. But its not large, and mostly farmers. There is one merchant there, but... I doubt he's had much trade in these days." He said, helping to gather would for the fire, getting the large pieces and small logs.

Cho smiled, "We are happy to have you with us, and if you like feel free to find anotehr place to stay, but Ayaka and myself are happy to stay beneath the stars, at least for now. Thank you for your help." Cho said as she began to lay out thin mats for them to sleep on.
Ayaka was over, kneeling by the fire that she had set up. Smiling the child flicked her fingers over the fire. Soon there was a spark that caught to the wood and began to burn. "YEA!" the child cheered as she danced around.

Yume did not look up and bit her lip angrily. "They are my keepers. Navata and Kovetani." She looks at him, her eyes pleading. "Kovetani, is exceptionally strong. She is able to cause pain to you without even touching you. Navata controls fire... I've tried to run away, but Navata can read minds, when she hears my thoughts she notifies Kovetani and then I'm punished. They think I'm here crying, but soon I'll have to track them down and return to them before they come back here and kill us both... Unless you decide to kill me."
Kovetani qives a small squeal of joy, tugging on Navata's arm. "Oooh look! They're going to make camp Navata! Once they're settled lets surprise them!"
Navata stares at the man with the two females off in the distance. "He looks strong. He is not like other men." she comments, her voice light.
Kovetani hisses. "Navata, you're worried about nothing..." she then grins as she remembers Navata's one weakness behind her eerily calm demeanor. "Do you think they're in love, Navata? That man and woman? They look so at peace, huh? Oh, and what a precious little gem that little girl is, hm? I bet they're planning to have another child one day. How sweet."
Navata now looks more intensely at the group preparing camp. They way they acted anyone would've guessed they were a family. A flicker of sorrow breaks through her sculpted face. Jealousy swims into her throat, and fire ignites from within her hand without warning.
Kovetani smiles, her huge green eyes peeling away from Navata. "That's more like it."

"Kill you, my young girl?" Suiyobi smiled in amusement. "Why I hunt their kind for the sheer thrill, reeking havoc on the innocents as they do." he shook his head is disapproval, then offered the delicate female a hand. "Go back to them if you must, if it is a matter of survival." he looked into her shimmering eyes, so filled with pain. "You could accompany me if you so wished, though I can make you no promises. Though your friend Navata, she is not the only one that controls fire." he grinned.

"I can't really give that kind of permission sis. It's Sakura's body so it would be up to her." Gouki said as he looked at Sakura again.
"So Sakura. if you trust my bratty little sister she would like to try to help too." Gouki said smiling nicely.

Sakura looked at Gouki as she seemed to be unable to decide what to do. Her only real knowledge was to try and get her headdress back. “If she can, let her.” Sakura would finish the fruit she ate without further issues but soon she found that she would fall unconsciousness. Thankfully, I was able to get about without too much trouble at all. I just found soon enough that I would begin to fall unconscious again as she slumped to the ground.

"I will keep watch." Kyoji said, all of his senses alert, after feeling a strange prickling through the Darkness. "Something is strange." He said. "We all need to be on our guard. This night holds much for the unwary."
Ayumi stood at the ruins of a destroyed village. The carnage was staggering, but neither her composure nor her demeanor as a warrior broke, though she did grip Murasame's sheath tightly as she looked around cautiously. What could have done this? She thought. Could this possibly be Muramasa's work? She wondered as she looked around, trying to sense where the culprits went off to.

"I am not a brat Gouki-chan!" Mara said irritatedly as she knelt beside Sakura, "I will do my best." She told her softly as she held her hands out to Sakura. Closing her eyes she concentrated on her, trying to transfer some of her energy into Sakura. "I'm sure that Gouki-chan would be much happier with this." She told Sakura. "He already things I'm too full of energy."
Cho nodded, "That is a good idea." she said as she kneeled beside her daughter. "Can I get you some of this soup?" she asked Kyoji as she filled a bowl for Ayaka. "Here you are my dear. Careful, it's hot, you might burn your mouth."
Ayaka took the bowl happily. She was very hungry after a long days walk. "Thank you mother!" she said happily rejoicing over the warm meal.

Kyoji smiled. "Thank you, yes. Some soup would be excellent, Cho-san." He said gratefully. "It certainly smells quite intriguing." He said with a bright smile.

Cho smiled at him, "It's only roots and berries, as well as some herbs and more dry ingredient. It's not the best, but it's what can be done with our resources." She dished him a bowl of the watery soup and handed it to him with a fork.
Ayaka laughed, "Mommy, it's good! You know it's good! No need to down cut it!"
"Thank you Ayaka." Cho said smoothing out the child's hair before dishing herself a bowl. She passed out the spoons. "Just be careful, ti's still hot."

Kyoji received the bowl of soup with a grateful nod and held the bowl with impeccable balance in one hand. He blew on the soup and took a slurp of the warm broth. "You shouldn't sell yourself so short, Cho-san. It is quite good." He said to her with a smile.
