"Its this way Relena, You cant miss it." Brut comment with a kind smile as he heads away from town towards a near by mountain range. "Although it is a size able walk you sure your up to it?" Brut comments over his shoulder with a grin. half mocking her age but also meant as a joke. picking up his pack for a moment he heads for the nearest road before dropping it off to be picked up later.

"Just keep heading for the hills." Brut comments with a smile as he walks up to her. his eyes looking at hers almost to say 'got ya' or like he was fighting back a laugh but his body was calm and respect full as he passed her. his clothes getting kicked up in a fresh burst of wind that seamed to warn people of where they were going.

"Dont look down Relena, Its not proper for a queen to be out done by her subjects... With out permission." HE jokes, probably a bad joke but he didn;t care much. he got a soft chuckle from it.

Looking forwards from where his feet were landing he could see the straight shot down into the Vally and then into what looked like a over grown grass field. it was there that the Morti family had set up residence. the large grass blades kept the sun away from their skin for most of the day. with only three hours a day being cut out because its just to dangerous to walk around they were the more active type of vampires.

"Half a days walk then a days journey by boat... You up for that?" Brut asks as he pauses at he top of a large hill.

"They hid away in the black mountains. just out side the reaches of the human zone... So they could 'work' in complete privacy." Brut commetns with a odd smile on his lips as he keep walking down the road

"How do you figure? thy are not human and are more than capable of defending themselves." Brut comments with a small hint of defeat showing in his voice. but i was nothing to worry about his body was still walking a straight line and his eyes were locked on his destination. something was driving him onward. despite what he knew and the obvious fear in his heart there was something else that was much much stronger that he was looking for almost as if it was pulling him onwards by his neck and soul.

"then perhaps your view will change once you see the location that that family has chosen for themselves." Brut responds with respect but also a kind of air in his words. "There is not a settlement, Den, Hovel, Heck not even a wild wolf within a few miles of the house. They have wards set up to repel the demon's, and cancel out most forms of magic, if not lower their effectiveness. Trust me My lady, though they are out side the bounds of safety and protection, they have built a formidable fortress just to say safe and have their privacy." He knew that she was right, the sanctuaries were built to keep the peace and protect those who looked for it. he didn't know all of the answers but he knew enough to say what he did. these facts at least were true, and proven by many different lore, tales, and near legends from the city's close enough to the mansion. and even in the humans town he caught a few glimpses of it.

Nodding his head softly Brut steps off with out really looking back behind him. The next few long days were filled with only the road that they traveled and the weather that tapered over the lush land scape around them.

As the mountains finally came into view the earth around them took a violent turn for the worse. the trees all came to a stop save a few saplings, that were twisted and near death on their own. a half day later the grasses stopped suddenly as well. leaving only what looked like a blackened and scorched landscape up to the mountain rim and onward into the sky. As ths small hills turned into the ridge line a form of vegetation did come back into existence. but it looked like a dead and rotten rose bush, and just as black as the ground it sprouted up from. the air was a good bit cooler, and soaking wet. it almost felt like you were walking through a steady fog with out your eyes being effected. the mansion stood out like a sore thumb, where in this world of upward facing and climbing slopes. the outer walls cut directly into the rock face. squared off like any fortress they became more and more menacing the closer you got. The road that they walked on soon turned into a perfect cobble stone path. with no stone to big or to small and all of them perfectly flat the two's pace excel orated greatly. as the night began to fall from behind the mountains peak.
