Well, I hope you won't die any time soon. Then I won't have anyone to talk to when I come in here. XD
Japanese class... *Drools* I want to go! Take me with you! XD That's so awesome! I've always wanted to go to a Japanese class but there are none around this area where I live. I have to rely on the internet and My Japanese Coach for the DS. >_<

I know little snippets of Japanese. I love the language <3 I so want to learn it. The teacher hasn't texted or emailed me yet so I'm not sure if it's still scheduled for today. I will cry D: Among the bits I do know is - 'Eh! Are wa, nani?' meaning, 'What the hell is that thing?' ;D heh. That's what you say to annoying little worms of boys ^^; Don't worry, I'll try not to die, though i'm not sure you can control things like that ;D I think it's amazing that we're the only two people that come in here regularly :p

I know! It's sad that we are the only ones. I wasn't able to come on yesterday because I got held up at work but I'm usually here every single day without much effort. XD It just comes naturally to me. ^_^
And were you able to go to the Japanese class? I hope you did. I love the language too. I know the basics. Like numbers, months, and colors. I know, "Ohaiyo gozaimasu. O-genki desu ka?" Which is "Good morning. How are you?" Stuff like that. Basically normal things that will help you get around if you were to ever go to Japan. And a few curses. XD

Yes! I did miss your presence here yesterday. It wasn't quite the same without someone to talk to which thoroughly proves we really are the only two people that regularly visit this group ^^; Ahh, I went but the teacher wasn't there. Apparently she was ill >.> Who's ill for their first class? It makes no sense D:< I was angry but now i'm ok miraculously. You know, as you are ^^ Ahh. I don't know colours, numbers or months! Tell! ^^ And I will write them down. One thing that does confuse me with Japanese but i'm not sure whether it's different pronunciations for different regions is - If you have a word with a 'ou' or 'ei' or another two vowels next to one another, do you pronounce both like, 'ah-ee' for 'ai' instead of 'aye'. Do you get what I mean?

Yes... I missed you too! T.T It's really ashame that no one likes coming in here. I fins myself to have a blast whenever I do. XD
Ack! That sucks! I can't believe that she wasn't there. People... you could never depend on them. >_< Well, anyway, let's start with the number and months frist then move onto colors. *Puts on glasses and starts wrting on a chalkbopard*
Numbers from 0 to 10 Zero Ichi Ni San Yon (Or Shi) Go Roku Shichi (Or Nana) Hachi Kyuu Jyuu
From 11 and up it gets easy because all you have to do is add the ten in front. For example, 11 would be how you say ten in front of how you say one: Jyuuichi. Twelve is Jyuuni. Thirteen is Jyuusan and so fort.
For 20, 30, 40, etc. just put the number itself in front of ten. Example: 20 is Ni Jyuu. 30 is San Jyuu and so fort. If you want to say 21 it's just the number in front of ten plus the number again. For example, Ni Jyuu Ichi.
Understand how number works now? It's rather simple really. Tomorrow, I'll go into explaining months. XD
And to answer your questions, the vowels in Japanese (A, I, U, E, O) are always pronounce the same. It's not like in English where the sounds are always changing. So if you were to say blue in Japanese, which is "Aoi," it would be pronouced as "Ah-oh-ee."
Pronouce them as:
A: AH I: EE U: OO E: EH O: OH
It become simplier when you practice it. ^_^

Awh. Thankyou. I'll write it all down, teach! ~gets out notebook~ I think I get what you mean. I'll read it over ten thousand times then i'm sure I'll properly get it >.< The same with the vowels. Thankyou so much. You are now obliged to teach me ^^;

Ok, so i've been revising number and can you just confirm the pronunciation me them all. I'm sorry - I'm such a pain ^^; Like Yon - I keep pronouncing it like John but with a 'Y' but i'm sure it's supposed to be like the o sound in 'okay'. Just tell me which is correct. And also, with a 'y' in the middle of a word, like 'kyuu' Do you just pronounce that 'kyoo' or 'kee-yoo'. So does it sound like 'Q' or is it broken up? I'm sorry for being such a slow learning pain in the bum but you did volunteer to be my teacher :p

XD No, no! It's okay. I don't mind at all. ^_^
To answer your first question about "Yon," it is pronounced more towards how you pronouce the "O" in "Okay." If you pronouce it like "John," it sounds close to the English word "Yawn" which is something you would like to avoid. ^_^ So the "O" in Japanese is pronouced like the "O" in "Oasis" or, as you said, "Okay."
Your second question now! XD With a "Y" in the middle of the word, it will be pronouced together as a whole. So, you will be pronoucing it as if it were the letter "Q."
Maybe this list of words will help out a bit more with pronoucing them: A as in "Father" I as in "Macaroni" U as in "Zulu" E as in "Edge" O as in "Oasis"
Just practice how you'll normally would say those words I listed and then try to remove the unnecessary letters so you could just practice the sound in question. ^_^

You're welcome! ^_^ And I'm glad you are learning your numbers and I'm glad that I can help you out. It really is hard to find someone to teach Japanese so anything I can do to help if fine by me.
Now, would you like me to dive into the months now or would you like to go over anything else before we move on?
