The storm came and went. Zayn thought he caught the feel of sending but wasn't sure. Keeping close to the land walls that ran long ways down the water. It was here here found an opening big enough to fit in. Gripping his three pronged spear Tidalwave slowly made his way through it. Moving silently through the darkness Zayn could tell the water was getting lighter. Soon he would be at the surface.
When he broke the surface Tidalwave peered around slowly. The strip of long hair fell back and to one side under the weight of the air. Was it voices he heard? Did he catch a send? Slowly and without much ripple to the water Zayn made his way from the pool. Looking about he saw torches, smooth walls and shelves shaped into the rock. Bare feet could easily feel the smooth floor as well. Blinking as his eyes adjusted he noticed the stairs. Making his way to them.
*Hello* His mind reached out softly as he slowly made his way step by step up the stairs. Ready to meet what might be there with a smile or his spear.

Half asleep, half awake, Llune answered the soft send with an equally soft send, one simply of a mumbled *H'lo* as she half-dreamt, half-imagined oddly flavored delicacies. Her doze is so thorough that she manages to maintain it even as yet another new elf is about to enter her home unexpectedly, wet feet slapping gently on the smooth stones of the passage stairs.

The send brushed through his mind and Zayn froze. A female who seemed lost in dreams still. He tired again just a bit louder. *Hello. Who are you?* He stood tense against a wall as he peered around the corner just a bit to see what was to be seen.

Feeling Starsong's fever lessening, Savith lifted the pair with a thought and drifted back to her sleeping place. Eyes sought a spare blanket, and another thought collected it to himself. It was then that the louder send of the newest arrival drifted across his mind, and he froze, turning his head to look. There was a slight hesitation, that moment of experienced-trained tension that spoke of being caught doing something 'naughty'. It lasted but a moment, before he continued on his way to Starsong's 'bed', replying in kind to Zayn. **I am Savith; welcome. Who are you?**

Peyote stomped her foot lightly when she couldn't find the waterskin she went looking for (sneaky glider), before moving to get a bowl. She'll just have to go out and collect some rain...water... waitaminute! The rain stopped! She can go get some fresh water from the waterfall. With a brillant smile, she called out over her shoulder, missing Zayn's sending greeting, "I'll be right back!" 4laugh

He saw no danger and more were here then just the sleepy send he got a moment ago. As he stepped through the doorway he said in a gruff sounding voice, "I am Tidalwave of the Ice Water tribe. I am sure that I am far from my own but glad to be with others again."
As he stood slightly dripping they saw a tall male with a lean form. The hair he did have hung to one side and reached to the middle of his back. Violet orbs gazed slowly about the room as he lowered his weapon and nodded to Savith slightly.

Savith laid Starsong down in the meager nest of blankets he was able to collect, tucking her in before he straightened. Only the fact that he was floating a few inches off the ground gave him any height on the newcomer. Green eyes met violet ones briefly as the glider studied Zayn, as he nodded a welcome. "I am Savith, named Chief of this motley assortment of survivors. It is good to know another has weathered the storm as well as the Sundering. Need you food or drink? Though we may have little left now, you are welcome to it, as you may need."

It didn't pass Tidalwave's eyes that the one speaking to him was not standing on the ground. It also didn't pass him that one or more were sickly and another male was tending another female. He shook his head at the offer of food and lifted a hand as well, "No, thank you. Are you in need of anything that I might help you with? It seems you have a sickness going around here that is striking all your ladies." Zayn seemed almost confused by such a sickness. He had never seen the like.

Savith glanced about the cave briefly, eyes on the ladies. "Hmm... Only one is truly sick, but that one," he pauses to nod at Dancer, "is merely over taxed from healing. The other is with child, and so sleeping. As for help, if you are a wavedancer, as evidenced by your webbed hand, some fresh fish would be appreicated. Once some of the land game returns, we will not be in such dire straights."

Glancing down at his hand a moment as the glider mentioned it Tidalwave lifted a brow. Almost surprised by the fact that the glider didn't have hands like his. A small difference but still. All he had known from birth was his tribe and the differences came more in the form of tails and the like. Then he glanced at the expectant mother. A heartache welled in him as he took in the sight of her resting peacefully.
It made him turn to go back down the stairs and with an effortless dive was in the waters embrace again. *I will go find food and be back when successful.*

**My thanks,** sent the glider to Zayn, mind quiet so as not to disturb the rest in the cave before he turned toward the cave mouth. **Will you send for me when they wake, Creek Runner,** he asked of the other male. **I'd like to see what the storm did to the cove and if anything edible wash up onto shore.**

Llune sleepily added all these sends to her dreams and managed not to wake up during the entire exchange. Mmmm. Pickled strawberries....

Starsong woke with a start as the previous dream replayed itself but at a very high speed this time. The words "wake up" ringing in her head over and over again. She looked around briefly but didn't see many around. Her fever had subsided but she still looked pale..even for her. Her eyes had dark circles around them and her hair was still damp from the sweat her fever produced. She grabbed her bow and ripped the covers off, standing unsteadily as she headed for the cave entrance. She didn't notice that the rain had stopped, or even commented on it after such an ordeal the last several days have been. She simply sent to those that were around.... **going hunting** As she lept from the cave entrance to the tree and scrambled down it quickly. **OOC: starting a hunting thread in the woods, those who wish to come along may join me there. Need at least one person to join me, preferably Creek or Blaze.**

Dancer woke with a blink as the hunting send filled her head. "Going hunting wha?" Blinking she looked around and sat up again. She smiled softly at Creek Runner and then at Savith. "I'm tired of being tired." she chuckled. "Nobody need any healing for a day or two unless I am ready to go rest."
