Kai Karasurei Akiameko ((So, are Jacko and the Germ two separate people? I thought they were the same. sweatdrop )) Yume noticed the three people from the back room come back into the main bar, one of which was staring at her. Yume decided to have fun with this, and proceeded to stare right back at her, vision peaking over the top of her glasses with her big brown eyes. She liked to amuse herself in this why, and it served people right for staring at her.((They are the same. Jacko the Germ is the guy who owns the place. The guy i the backroom is a mysterious contact of no significance other than to entice people into looking for the statue. (( 'o' *slaps self* Got it...))

SorshaGreer Minya smiled and stood slowly. "Well then, Jimmy, lets go. We can talk and I can tell you a few things . . . I understand how Marlena works, let's say. I have seen her operate, and you'd be careful digging into her. I know." She looked around, then back to him. "I have some papers, given to me by a Word Bearer. Let's see what we can find about Marlena, and maybe you can have them." She started towards the door.
((so is mine, may be gone for a few days, will be back when i can sweatdrop ))
"You know Falek Square, maybe six blocks uptown from here? I've got to stop by there first." Jimmy said. "Do you mind walking? The cabs won't stop for anyone this time of day, and the buses are even worse." He made a clumsy attempt at edging past Minya so he could open the front door for her.

Lorna raised an eyebrow at the girl. What was going on here? Shrugging internally, she got up from her own table and went to the girl's, feeling friendly, and wondering if maybe the girl was new in town.
"Mind some company? You look new here, and I wonder if I could help you find your way around."

SorshaGreer She shrugged and nodded, ignoring him as he moved past her and opened the door for herself. Stepping outside, she looked to him and gestured for him to lead her, preferring to stay just a step behind, just in case. "Lead on Jimmy, I'll follow. But why must we go to Falek Square, hm?" Sh would see where this went, but she wasn't dumb. She would get an answer, or she would leave him and trya agin somehow.
He strode down the street, at first enthusiastic and energetic, but after a block Jimmy seemed bothered by something. He kept on looking over his shoulder, not at Minya, but past her. Even when he was looking forward, his eyes were scanning the crowds. He didn't trust his instincts often, mostly because they had no basis in fact or logic, but he found it hard to ignore his unease. He didn't have any personal enemies, not as far as he knew...
"Urm, Minya, nobody would be following you, correct?" ((Psst...I'm itching for a fight...))

Jimmy indeed had a basis for his unease, for he had noticed someone a ew blocks back. She was dressed in a three piece suit with her blond hair tied back. She carried nothing and did not seem to be doing anymore than browsing the street vendors and open stores. This was why Jimmy was uneasy. Who, at this time of the day, would browse the busy streets of Downtown Mariwiss in a three piece suit and no purse? Apart from tan skin and heavy set facial features, the woman could not be distinguished among the crowd. If Jimmy and Minya wanted a good look at her, they would have to get closer.
