XDDD I never knew my character would get such a huge role in the begginning. Gotta love it while it lasts. *gets big ego* j/k j/k *inflates big ego* ninja It's all about you, chickyboo! lmao. SO anyways, who posts next about the bum? Me? That's probably the best idea! That way you can control whether or not he finds her, eh? Of course I want him to find her.

Celestial Type: Darkness and metal. Luca's life was greatly influenced by his ability to manipulate shadows, hence sending him into a life of reclusion and hiding. Luca's ability to mentally manipulate metal as if it was plastiline is just an added bonus...
Organization: None. Mostly because he's spent his life in hiding. Stealing what he needs to survive, killing a few intolerant annoyances if they hit a nerve too. Most of the people who've heard his voice never really did live to comment about it...
Occupation: Loner. Thief. Assasin if need be. He's not for hire, but is always for sale.
General Appearance: Jeans. Black boots. Dark, torn jacket (No one can tell what it's original color was anymore). He has dusty blonde hair (short, never combed) and boyish facial features. He does not look his age. Usually has a stubble, seeing as how he rarely leaves his apartment, and doesn't have the booming social life, he doesn't really pay much attention to his appearance. He wears a thick black leather necklace, and from it hangs a small green gem which he can't remember where he got it from...maybe he had it his whole life...maybe he even stole it from someone...
General Personality: Secretive. Doesn't trust his own shadow (Or the ones he creates for that matter). He rarely takes the chance of getting to know people, mainly cause anyone he meets becomes a potential target for Luca's late night visits, and he rarely leaves empty handed from his hosts' enclave. He is fascinated by art and it is when he is admiring works of art when he disconnects from his miserable, tormented existance and light is shed inside his dark soul. He makes a point in attempting to be oblivious to everything that happens to Celestials in the city. He tries to ignore the more corrupt agents of AGSA or Chrest and is not interested in saving Celestials either. He likes to think he believes none of this is happening, and that as long as he is kept out of the loop he has no need to worry, discuss, or even think about it...
History: Born to an accomodated and loving family, Luca had a comfortable upbringing and a stable household in which to grow up. He always had access to a plethora of books about a wide range of subjects. His passion for the arts and all the classical masters began early on. This was the catalyst for Luca to learn about his ability to manipulate metal with his mind. His passion became a powerful means of expression as he'd create beautiful sculptures in mere seconds with the hardest of metals. Unfortunately the attention this ability earned him brought along some shadowy characters into his life and his family's.
One fateful night, Luca's parents where having a heated argument with a few of what Luca thought were his father's friends. However these people's only intent was to use Luca's abilities for their own financial benefit. Seeing as how his parents wouldn't give him up, these people proceeded to kill Luca's father. A rattle was heard from the corner as Luca cringed in fear to see his father being shot to death at point blank range. This reflex triggered Luca's second ability, as he was engulfed with a dark cloak of shadow that came out of nowhere. Luca's mother, in shock, fled the scene as the criminals turned around to identify the source of the noise...she was never heard from again...
Since then Luca has learned to live alone. A scavenger. A thief. An assasin. Everyone he's known he's disposed off one way or another. He has also learned to use his abilities by himself, which has led to some strange and sometimes hilarious outcomes when he experiments with them...
He loved once. And he lost her. Probably the only person that ever got close to his heart. He learned to hate her in order not to hurt her...(Read quote)

The stairs were just part of his description of where she went when Sammuel questioned him-- it doesnt have to mean anything. She could live a floor or two up, or it could be like those tiny stairs that houses like mine have where they wanted to put the door up a foot or so from the ground for little reason. wink Make more sense now?

The stairs were just part of his description of where she went when Sammuel questioned him-- it doesnt have to mean anything. She could live a floor or two up, or it could be like those tiny stairs that houses like mine have where they wanted to put the door up a foot or so from the ground for little reason. wink Make more sense now? umm sorta. @___@ Thanks tho. ^^

Name: Parafli Zax (Too lazy to think up an original name... I'll just use my normal RP character. Well, minus the fact that here he won't be an elf, of course.)
Age: 16
Race: Celestial
Celestial Type: Elemental
Organization: N/A. He works for whomever hires him.
Occupation: Mercenary (whether it killing, stealing, kidnapping... he does it!)
General Appearance: Shoulder length brown hair, a medium build. About 6'2, 200lbs. He generally wears a skin-tight t-shirt and a skin-tight pair of jeans. Loose clothing gets caught in the window and slows him down, so this is better for stealth missions.
General Personality: He hates _everything_. There will be the occasional time where he'll get along with someone if they treat him fairly, but about 80% of the time he'd sooner kill someone then make friends with them.
History: Both parents were celestial's, meeting when they both hid from a human riot in the same spot. They fell in love almost instantly and had one child - Parafli. However, not 2 months after that, they were both mercilessly butchered by humans. He was brought to and raised by the Chrest foundation, but he escaped on the eve of his 6th birthday. Since then he has wondered the streets, doing whatever he is hired to do in order to survive. He has been doing his job since he first escaped Chrest, so after 10 years of killing, stealing and kidnapping - he's LONG since gotten over any regret he might show for killing faceless people.
Best Skill: Stealth. His weaponry includes a pistol (with silencer) and a dagger, so he usually takes out his trajectory long before they even know he's there.
Worst Skill: People/Social skills. He gets along with no one, unless he deems them "worth his time".

It's kind of timeless.
Just kidding-- it's a modern day type setting as far as how society works (cities, streets, alleyways). If you read the set up, we're just taking that and putting what we know into it, and so far it's been fairly modern but that doesnt mean there can't be scifi elements. There are already fantasy elements LOL
A pistol would be best, though.

Everything looks in order. Apologies for maybe not okaying your profile for a while, I was on an unmediated hiatus. In any case, Penden's talk about the time setting of the universe is right. Andel is basically just a really big city, with good, rich parts and sleazy bad parts - if you've ever seen/visited New York City, you know what I'm talking about. Therefore, nothing medieval comes into play, unless you're a Celestial...and then you're just spewing the abilities/spells detailed in the very first post. Make any sense? If you're not a Celestial, then nothing at all magical.
