"sure, if it's all the same to you," he said, following the other boy inside, "ya, um, as for my project, I'm fairly well along, i just need to test it, but that isn't very feasible, and no, I hadn't planned on taking anyone with me, no one else seemed to want to leave,"
((can i assume that the dome has airlocks to the surface? or is it totally sealed, no doors, nothing))

Suddenly there is a creak and a snap. The part of branch Kev was sitting on had given away and he fell flat on his back. "Oooh," he moaned, "That's gonna hurt in the mornin'!"

Hope stared down at him and smiled a true smile. She giggled, before she swung down next to him. "Does it hurt here? How 'bout here? Or here?" She asked, jabbing random places.

Kev's responses are; "Yes" "Ow" and "Hey! That tickles!"

Hope rolled her eyes, settling down on the cold grass, pulling her legs up so that her chin could rest on her knees and she locked her arms over her legs protectively. "What do you think about the Dome's Rules?" She asked out of the blue.

((Sorry for not being all that active so far. I've had limitted internet use due to massive amounts of makeup work I have to do for school. It might be a few days before I can get on on a regular basis again, but I'll try my best to get on as often as possible. I hope you guys understand.))
Tabi turned the corner and was walking down the last stretch of pavement that led to the park. She doubted that she would be able to see the stars, but it had never stopped her from trying anyways. As she reached the fence that surounded the park, she noticed that there were two people there, a boy and a girl. Putting both her hands on the fence, she pulled herself up, swinging her legs over and landing on the other side with a loud thud that would probably lrt the other two know that someone else was there. Without so much as even looking at the two, she walked past them over to the windows peering out them into the flake filled darkness in search of even a single star.

Kev chuckled a little and put his hands under his head. "Well you know I'll say 'boring' but you know it's true!" he said, "I mean there's no excitement. It's go to school, go home, don't do anything but sit and drift around town. And we never know our parents. We never have any examples but our nurses or the older kids. We don't have anyone to really love....." Kev stopped there. He hated when he thought he sounded sentimental. He gave a slight glance at the girl who walked by them but no greeting. He only knew of her because he had seen her a few times on his nightly prowls staring out the windows of the Dome. 'I bet it'd be fun outside if it didn't deform and kill us....'

Hope shook her head. "We all know it's boring. I'm talking about why they seperate the Adults from the Kids. Why do the Nurses only get to come out? And the teachers and everyone else that has to run and operate the stupid post office. WE DON'T EVEN THE USE THE POST OFFICE!" She said angrily. She sighed, her breath lost.

"Oh right," he said and looked straight up at the top of the Dome. He sighed inwardly and prepared himself for another slightly sentimental moment. "I don't know why they do the things they do Hopey. I don't think some of them even know. All I know is that either we find a way outta here or we find out personally in a few years."

Hope rolled her eyes, standing. "Yeah, whatever. I'm not even sure why they made this town if everyone lives in the Office. Why do they try to protect us? Why can't they just clean out the air? Or are they only stupid enough to destory the Earth?" She asked, clearly angry. "You, know. Whatever. The Mall's still open. Wanna go there?" She asked. With out an answer, she fished out some money. She counted quickly, and smiled. "The old hag gave me 50$ instead of 30$. Stupid old lady." She snorted, holding out her empty hand for his help.

Kev smiles with relief at the change in subject. "The Mall sounds good," he says and simply looks at her open hand, "And why should I trust YOU with all the money?"

Hope lets her hand drop and said deviously, "Because I have a plan." She said deviously, and she started walking towards the Mall.

Kev's smile grew as he hopped to his feet. "A plan I'm guessing you're not going to let me in on until it's too late," he said. He fell into step with her. And put his hands in his pockets.

She shook her head, counting the money again. "Stupid ol' lady." She snickered.
The mall was standing before them, silent as ever. She pushed through the doors, and scanned the mall. There was no one that she could see inside the mall. Good. She skipped over to the bike shop, and stepped in. She walked instictively over to the body shop area and found what she was looking for. She scanned the shelf and picked out a black, red, blue, purple, and orange can, five per color. She set the cans on the table. The kid behind the counter looked at her weirdly, but sold her the paint anyways. She got the twos bags and walked out again, and towards the fountain. She set down the cans and waited for Kev to catch up.

Before Kev could ask "where to now?" Hope had gone into and come out of the bike shop with two bags which contents clinked quite a bit. Kev walked over to her in no particular hurry and looked down at the cans and then back up at her with a broad, cocky grin. "So," he started, "where first; Post Office or the School?"
