"It must be nice, having other people to play with," she mused, sighing softly and watching the boys whimsically for a moment before sighing. "What's a bar?" She idled after a moment, blinking slowly at the smaller girl.

"I dunno. I think it's where grownups go to buy stuff called alcohol. Mommy says it's bad for most people, screws up the mind and people lose control of their emotions on it and that it's addicting. But it doesn't work right on her cause of something from when she was little, but I didn't ask much about that."

"Alcohol," she mumbled thoughtfully, blinking and making a note to ask her mom about it later. "That sounds icky," she mused, making a face before shaking her head.

"I think it is. Mommy just can't taste it anymore. She says she can't really taste anything anymore. S'prolly why she can't cook. That and she doesn't wanna."

"Can't taste anything anymore..?" The girl shivered, as if the idea were more terrifying than words could express at the moment. "Mom can cook, but doesn't really like to. We order out a lot - or she goes to restaurants and picks things things up for us to eat."

"We do that too cause my brother Bailey's the only one in the house who can and will cook, and she's still learning." the little girl explained with a nod.
After the girls were finished their food break, they returned to their joyous skating session. It continued playfully and enjoyably like that for another hour or so, until the girls had to part ways. Though, Ebby assured Lori many times that she wanted to hang out again - the other girl was fun!
