By the Goddess he was a pet! And she actually meant that in a good way. Yallinda's red eyes followed Ka'da's embaressed enterance into the room. Upon closing the door behind him she did not hesitate to head for the sectioned off area that had the bath waiting for her...for them now. It would be nice to see Ka'da in a state of undress...all those muscles...
Yallinda set her bag down on the bag and flopped her replacement outfit next to it. He was stammering in a manner that made it rather hard for her to take him particularly serious Yallinda turned partly, her hands lifting to the clasp between her breasts and she paused. her red eyes blinked at the male. Was he serious? Was he -honestly- serious? he'd never...then...
A part of yallinda wanted to scoff. It was impossible for him to be untouched. That same part of her wanted to laugh at the obvious ludicrissness of it all. And then..the more serious part of her...pratically growled wantonly. This was a treat you usually had to pounce upon when a male was much younger to ensure you were the first. To find one so...defined...and muscular...
She still kept a hand upon her clasp, but Yallinda stepped towards Ka'da. Her lips pulled downwards into a pitying expression. "Oh...poor Rihn. I understand. Honestly I do. Females can be such horrible and evil creatures. I've seen so many good males just...thrown away and discarded just because the female was playing with them. Like careless children. They never really appreciate a good male when they find one." Yallinda dropped her own gaze and gave her slight shoulders a small shrug
"Because of them I've never really been able to find a good companion myself. All the ones that have any hint of a softer and more gentle nature are always snatchedup so they can break the poor things. Sometimes I feel lonely enough that I'd take just any male at all so I wouldn't be alone anymore. No matter how horrible or rough he might be...I haven't though. I guess I'm just a little too afraid. I mean, I don't have any real protection if he were to decide to kill me. Who'd care if a houseless healer ended up dead?"
Again Yallinda shrugged her shoulders and she turned to move towards the bathtub. "I understand your reasons for being so nervouse though..so I'll respect your chasity. If you'd just wait on this side of the wall I'll be very quick, I promise...."

Ka'da felt him blush yet again, when Yallinda began to undress in front of him.
He adverted his eyes to his feet, wondering why the hell he had thought it would be best for him to share the same room...and bath with Yallinda. It seemed like it was much more trouble than he had first thought. Not to mention...rather uncomfortable.
He had never really told anyone about never having been with a female before. His Matron had tried several times to have him...trained in how to pleasure a female properly, but Ka'da had always managed to skip that part of the training. If she found out, he would definitely be punished for it. Of course, he had never really intended or planned on skipping that area of study. It had just sort of happened that at those moments that some dire or very demanding matter had come up that he had to dash off to deal with. And it wasn't as if the party that had been hired to train him had really minded or they would have revealed it to the Matron. Ka'da really was quite fortunate in the whole matter.
Ka'da was drawn out of these memories when Yallinda stepped towards him. He turned his gaze up, going to her eyes, and was surprised to see pity in her eyes. He almost frowned...and blurted the whole thing out but stopped himself, when she began to speak.
He couldn't help but stare at her with shock running through him. Here was a female actually admitting that the others of her kind were exactly what he and other males thought of them. It was enough to blow his mind. How could a fellow female agree with the male mindset so easily and readily? It was enough to cause him alarm and to ponder over everything that had gone on that day.
Could it be possible that Yallinda was trying to get him to admit that he wasn't as committed to the Spider Queen as he should be? Was she a spy for the priestesses looking for a male for the sacrifice that was coming up soon? These thoughts were enough to cause Ka'da to step back from her, when she paused and shrugged her shoulders.
Her next explanation however made a little more sense, and caused Ka'da to relax in relief. His ongoing paranoid thoughts were starting to overwhelm even his common senses these days. However, he was still rather wary of the female in front of him, even though she had in no way made herself seem threatening to him in the least. It was after all, better to stay sharp and alert than to be drawn into a complacent state of mind. It made it easier to survive the plots and dramas of the Underdark.
"I'd care." Ka'da replied, in a whisper, rather alarmed at the sadistic and melancholy state that Yallinda had sank into at the end of her speech.
Female's emotions were really up and down, and it was enough to give him a headache at it.
"Thank you, I appreciate it. I'll be right here waiting. But take your time, if you need time to relax go right ahead. I can clean up pretty quickly as well."
With that Ka'da started to take his armor off, so he could clean it before it was his turn to bath.

Yallinda choose not to respond to the slight 'I'd Care' that came from Ka'da. While she was enjoying preying upon his gullible nature, she did not want him to catch on to the fact she was pulling at his obvious weak heart strings. Instead she slipped behind the curtan and finished undressing.
"That's terribly sweet of you Rihn. I really could use a bit of a soaking. Today's been beastly." She continued to speak to him even as she slipped into the tub. The water was cooler then she cared for, which meant she'd not be soaking in it long.
"Actually this is probably for the best...my caravan just got into town today and I should bathe before meeting your matron. I don't want to offend her senses accidently." Not that Yallinda had smelt or anything. With her sweet charms she had gotten her caravan male to boil up a pot of hot water and rag washed her every night they were on the road. A naughty little grin flickered over her lips as she leaned back in the tub and tended to her washing.
"And this will calm my nerves more before I meet her..."

Ka'da settled down on one of the padded seats, and began pulling his armor off. He had it piled up in front him while Yallinda slipped behind the curtain and disrobed further. He tried to keep his thoughts off of the shapely figure that was now etched in his mind. He inwardly cursed the brutes who had so roughly handled her, as he set to cleaning his sword and armor as best as he could.
"So it has," Ka'da muttered in agreement with her statement of how the day had been. "Now if I can keep my mind on what I need to do, and not be distracted by thoughts of her, I will be doing well." the latter was a very quiet discourse with himself, making sure that she couldn't hear it.
Though he did listen to her continued chatter, it was only half heartedly as he had before, since he now had a task to concentrate on. Every now and then he would make a non-committed grunt in response to her talking so she wouldn't think he wasn't actually listening.
After a short while, the blade gleamed as brightly as it was before the encounter. After examining it closely for any missed specks of blood, he was happy with it, and replaced it in it's sheath. Then he turned to his armor, frowning over it. It was a horrible sight to behold.
"That's good," Ka'da responded, hearing her last spoken statement. "Its good to have ones' wits and nerves about them when they meet a Matron for the first time. Matron D'shadra(sp) tends to notice when a person is out of their wits or when their nerves are frayed. I should be done with my armor here soon, how about you?"

He seemed to be a good listener. That was encouraging. Yallinda had little interest in males she actually had to work at to keep the ttention of. Physically she didn't mind useing her body to catch a males eye. But she liked a male whose interest went beyond getting her to get on top of him.
The soak actually was very relaxing. It put Yallinda in a relaxed state and she could forget the fright that had happened earlier. Ruffians! Still..she needed to ground herself and focus on the task at hand. Which meant keeping Ka'da interested in her and wooing his mother into favoring her. She had not been given much to go on, and she choose not to push for more information. if she put Ka'da on edge he might be disinclined to lend her what id or advice she'd need to obtain the coveted position.... if only she could keep herself from being distracted by her greed!
"Mmmmmm." Yallinda responded to Ka'da's question to her. The water in the tub sloshed a bit as she pushed herself up. The water was still luke warm. So it was at that state where she didn't want to get out, but it wasn't quite as nice to linger in. She stood, dripping on the floor with a arm over her chest as she poked her wet hair head around the edge of the screen.
"I am done, and quite in control of myself now but...ah..." Yallinda hesitated, and with one hand she pointed towards the bed where she had left her cloths. "Would you be a sweet and hand me my change of cloths? There is a towl back here I could wrap around but... I'd rather not come out in such a state..."

Ka'da looked up from his armor to see her peering around the partition, her hair dripping water. For a moment his mind went blank as he regarded her.
She surely was a lot more beautiful when she wasn't wearing any makeup, of course Ka'da knew better than to say such a thing. Most females would never agree or take it as a compliment.
"Ah...of course." Ka'da replied, jumping up to do as she had requested.
First however, he rubbed his hands off on a towel so he wouldn't transfer any of the dirt or blood onto her clothing. Then he retrieved the clothes and carefully handed them over to her.
"How warm is the water? Will I need to get more hot water brought up?"
Ka'da figured he'd need really hot water to get rid of the grim, sweat and blood that covering him. And if the water was lukewarm it wasn't really going to do him much good. He untied his hair, causing it to fall down to his shoulders in unkempt waves. He ran his fingers through it nervously as he waited for Yallinda's response.

Yallinda looked back into Ka'da's blank face and waited. What was he staring at her so hard for? One white brow arched slightly as she waited for him to remember to respond. When he did, a faint smile broke out upon Yallinda's features.
"Mmmm, thank you Rihn dear." She spoke while taking her cloths and dissappearing back behind the curtain. "Ah. I'm afraid the water is nearly cold now. Your going to definatly need more water brought up to heat it up. It's not all that dirty though, i can still see through to the bottom easily enough. The soap has just discolored it a little." She spoke easily as she towled herself dry.
The bath had done wonders for her, and slipping into the herb scented garments helped ease away all traces of tension she had felt before. Of course, so too did her excitement concering Ka'da as well. No worries there though, she'd surely get it back soon enough!
Yallinda stepped out from behind the curtain only after she was completely dressed. Her hair was wet and stringy still, and she was glad she'd bathed first, as she was already noting drearily that rebrainding her hair was going to take some time...hair...looking up at Ka'da's Yallinda' lips quirked into a smile.
"How fetching Rihn. You look good with your hair down."

If Ka'da's skin had been a lighter hue, Yallinda would have seen the redness that crept up his neck and into his face at her compliment. Ka'da coughed rather uneasily, and stepped back slightly, saying "well then I'd better go tell a servant to bring more hot water. I wouldn't want to return looking this ghastly and unkempt. My Matron would have my hide for it."
It hadn't just been Yallinda's comment about his hair, it had been the fact that the bath had done wonders for her. When she stepped from behind the partition, he had been rather astonished to see how soft and glowing she looked. It didn't help that with her hair down, despite it being wet, had made her look even more attractive than he had first thought. He couldn't help but wonder how he had missed it before the attack. His mind must have been more preoccupied with finishing the task set out for him by his meddling sisters.
"I'll just go do that now." Ka'da said rather awkwardly, and turned towards the door.

Yallinda sat herself down upon the bed beside her bag. Pulling it open, she choose to focus her attention for a time upon it's contents rather then the cute plaything she had in the room with her. Ka'da needed to get more water after all, and Yallinda needed time to tend to her hair. From the bottom of her bag she pulled out a brush and a hand mirror. The small square steel plate was hardly the type of mirror she would have preferred to have..but glass simply did not travel well and she disliked the thought of replacing it at every stop during her traveling.
With brush and mirror in hand, Yallinda tossed her hair back and began the task of brushing it out. Her unpainted lips pulled upwards as a thought occured to her.
"Rihn, would you be a dear and brush my hair for me while waiting for the water? It's just so long and it would be a great help to me...."

Ka'dairihn paused at the door, his hand on the handle as his mind tried to process the request that Yallinda had made of him. Had she just asked him to brush her hair? He blinked back his surprise, and turned his head to stare at her.
With her hair undone, it practically fell to the back of her knees. It was indeed rather long.
"...uh...I suppose I could. I might be a bit rough though, I've never actually brushed anyone else's hair before." Ka'da mumbled, feeling rather unsure of himself. "I'll be right back, It shouldn't take me more than a moment to find a servant."
Ka'da left Yallinda to her devices closing the door softly behind him as he left the room. Once outside, he leaned heavily against the door and sighed softly to himself, running a hand over his face. Yallinda was fast proving a constant surprise to him, and he wasn't sure if he liked it or not. It was almost...if she were acting. Ka'da brushed the thought away at the remembered look on her face when the brute had pulled her roughly out of the carriage. There couldn't have been any acting going on then. He just couldn't label Yallinda a con artist, though he had encountered several of them over the years. There was something different, more innocent about her than anyone he had ever encountered.
His musings vanished when he spied a servant walking down the hallway, carrying a tray of hot tea and several plates of food to one of the rooms. Ka'da intercepted the servant, and relayed his request for more hot water. The servant nodded his head and promised to see to it right away. On second thought Ka'da also asked for some hot tea, thinking that it would be a welcome distraction for Yallinda and him while they waited for the hot water. Not to mention a relaxing way to relieve even more of the stress she had gone through.
"Will that be all sir?" The servant asked, seeing Ka'da lose himself in his thoughts once more.
"uh..yes. Thank you. Is there a way to get what I requested within a short amount of time?" Ka'da asked, seeing that it was getting into the later hours of the afternoon. The Matron and his House would be in an uproar if he didn't show up pretty soon. He didn't want to cause any unwanted questions from his matron or his interfering sisters.
"I'll get right on it. You will have the tea and hot water within 5 minutes sir." The servant replied.
Ka'da thanked the servant and then returned to the room. Once back in the room, he relayed to Yallinda that he had ordered tea for them. Then, rather awkwardly he made his way across the room and sat down behind her on the bed and started brushing her long shimmering hair out as gently as he could. If Yallinda could have seen the intense concentration on his face as he did the task, she probably would have laughed out loud. He was biting his bottom lip, and his eyebrows were knotted with total focus.

Yallinda peered up under the fall of wet strands that had managed to loop down from her forehead. She smiled, her red eyes glittering as she fought and succeeded to keep the comment her tongue wished to flicker out. His first time? Rough? Oh Rihn! He really -really- was a pet! She could not wait to get her pointed fingertips into him. She'd never ever let go of her cute little puppy! Providing she could actually manage to obtain him. That really was a depressing thought there.
"Of course Rihn. I understand well and fine. I will just wait for you here." Thus spoken, she began to work on her hair herself. It wouldn't hurt any if she got started after all. In the time that Ka'da was gone, Yallinda was able to review the days events. It was rather fortunate that they had been targets. Even if she had nearly had a brute dropped on her that could have crushed her...
He seemed easy enough to influence, but there had been times already that he had proven he wasn't some mindless slave. Ka'darihn had a mind and he could catch on if he suspected her of being false. Perhaps she should tone down her antics a bit? Well..not all of it had been forced or false. She really did find him appealing. Oh! She wanted to push him down on the bed and just wriggle herself up in those arms! He looked so strong and muscular! Alone as she was, Yallinda indulged herself in a dreamy little sigh.
"He's just like one of those steamy romance novelles." She purred at her reflection. The strong, protective male that was more or less easily swayed by the females perfect beauty and charm....only... and here she pursed her lips to make a kiss at the mirror. "Only I'm not going to be so stupid as to let him get sacrificed like most of those bitchs in the books." Oh no no no! She wanted her pretty protector all to herself! Lloth could have him after she was old and grey!
When Ka'da returned to her, she couldn't help but smile in delight. "Ah! What a wonderful idea! Some tea would be perfect right now." She bit off adding some form of compliment. She did not want him to feel like some child or pet being praised for doing tricks after all! Yallinda handed off her brush to him at that point, and she pulled her bag into her lap so she could begin reapplying her make up slowly.
"Mmmm... Should I go lighter in my make up Rihn? Your matron prefers traditional style and dress right? I wonder if she'll think I'm a slut if I wear my usual?"

Despite the fact that Yallinda's hair was still wet, the brush had a hard time running through her hair softly. Ka'da had to concentrate and take his time with the task Yallinda had given him. There were only a few times when the brush snagged her hair, and caused Yallinda to jerk her head back with a slight murmur. Ka'da slowed down the strokes, and worked his way up the long tresses trying to not yank her hair or snag the brush again.
He couldn't imagine her brushing her hair out every day, and figured that was why she usually kept it up and out of her way. Taking care of long hair must be a real chore for her. Though...if she had a few handmaids he supposed the job wouldn't be so daunting or time consuming. If she was hired on by his Matron, he figured he might as well point out that she would need some assistance with her job.
The Matron would probably be pretty accommodating since each of his sisters had at least 4 handmaids themselves and practically didn't have to attend to themselves in any way. It wouldn't surprise him if they even had a servant to wipe their butts for them, so they wouldn't have to stoop so low. This thought almost made Ka'da laugh outside.
Ka'da looked up from the job he was doing when Yallinda asked his opinion. He looked at her reflection in the small mirror she was holding in her hand, while he thought of what the Matron would be impressed by.
"Actually, as long as the makeup isn't too over the top you'll be fine. Most of my sisters use too much, or decorate their faces too much with the stuff. The Matron finds that rather insufferable."
Right after he finished saying this a knock came on the door to the room. Ka'da pushed himself up and off the bed, handing Yallinda her brush as he walked over to the door to open it. He was quite pleased to find servants with hot water and one with a tray of tea balanced on it's left hand. He ushered them in, and watched as they emptied the water in the tub and left the tea on a small table and then turned to left. Ka'da was kind enough to toss each of them a copper mark for their work and then close the door firmly behind them.
He turned back to Yallinda, asking; "Would you like for me to finish brushing your hair out before I bath?"

Yallinda's head tilted back with each harsh pull, and though she grimanced, she did not bark at Ka'da for his rough ways. She was quite used to it really. Besides, a little pain would not kill her. It sort of made her scalp tingle pleasently in fact. She continued to ponder her make up choices, and with Ka'das insight she was able to finally decide on a simple dab of her preffered violet lip paint, and some eye dusting of a lighter powder.
"Well then, I definatly want to stand apart from your sister." She commented, though in truth she wanted more then that. She wanted to be seen as better then her own daughters. Someone to compare them to...and eventually displace them if she was fortunate enough...
Yallinda accepted back her brush and resumed brushing out her own hair while Ka'da saw to the servants. The sight of the tea gained him a delighted little smile. "Ah! Lovely! Thank you so much Rihn. This is exactly what I could use....Mmm...." Yallinda set her brush down and reached for one of the cups, her other hand waving him towards the screen. "No no darling. Go ahead and wash while the water is still hot. I can finish this myself."

Upon hearing Yallinda's reply, Ka'da moved behind the partition and removed the last of his clothing. Then he lowered his aching sore body into the hot steaming water, slightly moaning in relief. It didn't take very long for the heat to affect his tired muscles for the better, loosening the tension from them. For a good ten minutes Ka'da just sat in the tub relaxing, letting the heat of the water ebb away all his worries. For those ten minutes he let his mind go completely blank as he rested. It was the first time he realized later that he hadn't been overly mistrustful of the person he was sharing the room with. It was a rather pleasant feeling.
Then without further delay he went about scrubbing his whole body from top to bottom until he was as clean as he could be. His hair was another matter. Despite the fact that he preferred long hair to short, he never really cared for it or washed it all that much. This he realized would have to change, what with Yallinda paying him so much interest.
He lathered up his hair with the soap in the blue jar. It was only when he finished lathering did he realize how dirty the water had become from before. He couldn't help but sigh in frustration.
"Uh Yallinda? I kind of have a problem. I've bathed and gotten the water all dirty and now I don't have clean water to rinse my hair with. Do you suppose you could get them to bring up some more so I can finish? If it's too much of a bother I can just make due with what I have." He added, feeling like a complete idiot for not having washed in the proper order.

She could not help but smile as she heard that first groan. It sounded like Kada'rihn was really sore from his activities this day. Yallinda personally only felt a little achey, but that would be nothing later on when she managed to wiggle her way into a noble bedroom. nice noble bedroom with a comfy soft bed and servants to bring her wine when she wished. Yallinda's eyes slid over the edge of her teacup as she sipped at it and to the divider between herself and Ka'darihn. And perhaps a nice strong male to cuddle her tightly and protectively through the night. Oh! She was giving herself tingles!
Yallinda set her teacup down, and resumed tending to her hair. With it brushed out now, she determined to braid it back up while her male companion and potential future mate worthy male bathed.
"Hmmm?" She answered as he would call to her. Her fingers had managed to twist a good amount of small braids already and she was trying to balance her mirror on her knee to peer into and make certain she hadn'y missed any strands.
"Ah, just a moment Rihn dear." She responded and hurried to finish pinning her hair up so she could move to the door. Cracking it open, she was not so surprised to see a lingering servant in the hallway. it only took a flick of her hand to catch the boys attention so she could relay the request to him.
"It will just be a moment more Rihn. Hmm, you must have been quite dirty. Poor thing."
