He follows the student to the temple, in the hope to meet the master of the sith again, and set a safe alliance for the sake of the force users. While walking, he keeps silent, and looks around at the massive temples and statues that get more common the closer they get to the main temple...

Atra was still finishing morning Temple rounds when a student begged her attention. Storm had once again taken the liberty to drag in another outsider; and, by the looks of it, the outsider was no one other than one of the Jedi Leaders.

She snorted, Shaking her head as she dismissed the trainee. Who did Storm think he was, inviting the bane of their foremost problems to their very doorstep? Indeed, they had spoken earlier about the faint possibility of an alliance, and, much to her disgust, they were taking themselves seriously.

The neutral expression plastered on her face remained calm as she returned to he personal quarters to releive herself of her robe. She found the billowing fabric to do nothing more than get in the way. To her, it should only be used on special occasions, such as a promotion board or Knighting. The Jedi were not in the least bit worthy of any sort of preperation.

One hand idly swept back curled locks of hair, and she glanced around, looking for something to tie it back with. Finding nothing, she pursed her lips and let it hang, making a mental note to find her a cloth scrap. If Storm did anything to anger her today, she'd use his skin.

The walk from her quarters to the foyer was longer than she would have liked, although the Sith of the past constructed this Temple as so. Of course, her office was practically connected to the foyer for political reasons, no doubt. As she walked, her stiff boots made a satisfying, powerful, sound on the polished stone floor. Nameless trainees and Temple workers scrambled aside so the Dark Lord could pass through with no difficulties.

When she reached the foyer, one of her Knights opened the door for her and, with a bow, closed it again once she was outside. Piercing green eyes surveyed Korriban's rocky landscape until her gaze fell upon Storm and the Jedi.

Her mouth quirked into a frown as she stood in front of her Temple doors, a thousand rebukes coming to mind.

Eric had spent most of the night in his Tie, sleeping mainly, keeping one eye open for safety. Once again he had crawled out of his Tie and lurked about the shadows of the dark, desolate swampland.

Eric continued walking around, looking for some of the Dark Jedi, training on some sort of creature, but he then remembered that there was hardly any. one again he turned on his heel and headed towards the dark Jedi temple. He stood out side the front door, looking around before lurking into the shadows, hoping to see some Dark Jedi.

Draiman spent an hour scouting the planet, he was far from the Temple, he was acualy trailing the Force powers of those who where Jedi, he was upon the speeder he took from the Mechanic in the Hanger of the Temple and was hovering off the ground in one spot as he glanced around.

Draiman: They are close..very close..but...where?...they are good at hiding...but I need a flaw....some ideal..where they are...

Draiman hissed a bit before he adjusted his hood, the planet was rather hot with the black clothing on didn't help much but keep sand away from his face, he soon throteled the speeder as it made a loud noise before he started to proceed forward, speeding over the planet's surface.

He kept trailing his look to the left, as if he couldn't move it, something was there, it was strong with the Force, he poundered why the Jedi where on this planet, it was of the Dark Side, not the Light Side, but whatever it is, they kept losing new recruits to the Dark Side.

As maniac saw the sith lord appeared, he walks over to her, and bows in front of her

"It's an honor to finally meet you, master Atra. I have heard a lot of things about your great power, it hurts me to see that such a fine young girl as yourself use your powers for such a terrible goal...

But I'm not here to convert you, I came here to talk in peace.
We have spoken before, trough holonet, while I and the other jedi were fleeing to Korriban.
We are incredibally happy that you allowed us to train on your planet, and that, in case of a planetary attack by the republic, we will fight alongside to survive.

However, When we are not under attack, we still live as enemies. If we enter your terretory, we will most likely be attacked by one of your students, and, if you come near our base, our students that want to impress the masters, will try to convert your followers which will also result in a fight...

The result is an ever growing hate, and a needless loss of lives. Lives of people that we can more then use at the moment, and a large hate that will get in the way when we do need to fight alongside. That hate was there already, but now, it only grows. These small conflicts may cost us the war. These small conflicts might be the downfall of our orders.

Therefor, I ask you if you would agree with a closer alliance. No, I beg you. We have no choise. I understand how hard it is for you, as it is as hard for us, but we have to. The distance between our villages makes a good defense impossible. The hate between our orders does the same.

Here is the idea from the jedi:
First, allow our village to edge your territory. Still, a distance between them, but this time we shouldn't need aircraft to reach eachother.

Secondly, An army of neutral force users, they will be stationed in between the jedi and dark jedi base. The students learn both dark and light powers, and will be trained to fight the republic. Masters from both academies will train them, masters that will not attack eachother on sight. Since that would mean we don't need our students, who might fight eachother, to fight alongside often, we can avoid needless deaths

Also, we will have to recruit force-less soldiers, and pilots. I think there will be enough jedi or sith supporters that do not agree with the republic actions, that want to train. We can do that close to the neutral area too.

Finally, we will need to set a total ceasefire between our orders. That doesn't mean just walk into eachothers temple, but that means that if one of us is in the others territory, and is not doing anything that might damage the other order, leave him alone. If he starts attacking, stealing, or something offensive, the ceasefire will not apply of course. But that doesn't mean you can attack all others, unless the person was offending the rules on command of his leaders.

I understand how hard this is, again, but this is all we can do
We are enemies, we always will be, but if we don't join now, I don't know how long "always" will be.

We can continue our personal war after we defeated the republic. But if we do not ally now, there might be noone left to fight that war. For the future of our orders, for the future of the force users in a whole, you are our only hope...please Atra... we have to and you know it"

A Lambda-Class Imperial Shuttle dropped out of hyperspace near Korriban. A hooded man in a black robe looked out at the desolate planet from space. He stood in silence, staring down for a few moments before beginning the landing sequence.

The shuttle broke the the planet's atmosphere and skimmed just above the planet's hot, dry surface. He passed over many large sand dunes, abandoned dilapidated temples and valleys full of ruins. It bought back many memories. On the horizon there was a building that was not in ruin. A strong Force presence could be sensed there.

The shuttle set down a little way away from the structure. The boarding ramp slowly lowered and touched down on the coarse sand. A man slowly stepped down the ramp. A soon as his feet touched the planet's surface there was a strong breeze blowing the dry sand around violently.

Hm. I wonder what is happening here.....

Atra's mouth quirked disdainfully.

"I do not recall giving any such person permission to settle upon this planet," she said acidically. "We will always live as enemies, Sir Jedi. No petty feuding with the Republic will change that."

She paused, not moving from her position, allowing her green eyes to glare down at the Jedi perched below her. What this fool spoke of was damn near impossible. Having them impude upon the Sith Holy Grounds was bad enough; having them beg for an alliance was even worse.

Somewhere in the back of her mind, she felt the Force clawing again. Her mouth quirked, and she flicked her eyes from side to side, ordering Storm to return inside. Any other rampant students followed suit, knowing that an order for one usually went for all.

"As for the loss of lives, my students are prepared to sacrifice themselves for their own ideal. They are replaceable."

That said, Dark Lord Atra turned on her heel to head inside. She would much prefer to spend this time in meditation and stasis rather than in useless talk with a gloomy Jedi Master. His invitation was ridiculous; them... join forces? The thought was laughable. Not only would the Dark Teachings in their weak lightside trainees do nothing more than confuse them to the point of self mutilation, the Light would weaken her own students who already had surpassed the Jedi in strength.

Her parting words before she dissapeared into the Temple were as so: "We need to allies."

((You might not recall that, but it is in the story rolleyes

from the story in stikkie
_Sith allow jedi to train on Korriban, tough they need to stay away from sith terretory, unless Korriban is under attack
))

Maniac jumps up, and lands on both legs again. He screams after the leaving sith lord, in an attempt to change her mind. This time, in a more frustraded voice, if it can't be the noble way, then a more offensive speech should do

"Well then, one of your students acting like you gave us that permission

And that student should lead this academy then. You only think about here, and now. The good sith, like palpatine and Vader, Kun and sadow, they did think about the future...

What is the point in training your students now, for a fight they cannot win? Your action will make sure that the legacy of the sith will be extincted. YOU and YOU ALONE will be responsible for THE DOWNFALL OF THE SITH ORDER. The downfall of the jedi too, true, but what is the point of getting rid of them, if you only get rid of yourself?

Your action will be put into the history books as the weakest, most disgustfull and worst military action ever. There is no point in it, no point in it at all.

if you want to bring the force users into a war that they cannot win, then fine.
You will go into history as a loser with terrible strategies, you will be the laugh of the galaxy... and we jedi, we will be the people that died as heroes...that tried to bring the force users together in order to save them, even tough that means that the sith will still exist after the war, that the fight will go on....
But that couldn't reach their goal because the biggest idiot of a sith lord ruined it all

Of course, it DOESN'T have to be that way...
If we ally now, we will be known as the generation that set aside their ideals, to make sure they continue to fight about them afterwards...

Well, make sure.. even joined, the war will be hard, but unjoined, it will be impossible

Just think of it... YOUR name in the row of names like Vader and Kun... Your name with the great sith lords. The lord that made the last expected move, to make sure that her order came trough a war that was impossible to win...
Maybe you can even extinct us afterward, who knows how weakened we are after the conflict...

Doesn't that sound appealing? Savior of the sith order? Take your chance... better to join, then to die out, eh?

Put yourself into the books as one of the saviors of the force users... the one that stopped the republic from making the terrible mistake of trying to kill us"

Meanwhile, he makes sure to record this message, for if she didn't hear it.

((dun' worry, Maniac. x3 I'm not as illiterate as I come across. ^^ I know the storyline quite well. Very well. I know the storyline so well, I could turn it into a knit quilt!! domokun ))

"You think so highly of yourself, Sir Jedi. Whatever happened to humility?" She smirked ruefully to herself. If Storm was the student he spoke of, it was no wonder. He had a bad habit of going off on his own little trails in an effort to impress his superiors.

She flicked her hair aside as she continued walking through the Temple foyer. The Jedi's voice reverberated through the stone walls, making it sound more like he was having a temper tantrum than anything else.

She turned to one of the Knights who apparently had some time off from training. She mumbled something in his ear and he gave a nod, then headed in the way of the doors again. As for Atra, she had better things to do than make such rash decisions.

Upon reaching her personal quarters, she keyed in her door code and the slab whisked open to reveal her spacious, yet unusually plain sleeping space. A simple pull of the Force closed the door again, locking it. In turn, Atra knelt on a meditation rug, preparing herself for stasis.

It would be best to see what the ghosts of old thought of this situation.

===+===+===

The unnamed Knight exited the Temple, raising a disgusted eyebrow at the one whom had recently thrown the rather loud temper tantrum. He walked in slow circles around Maniac, as if he were some bird of prey.

"Pride," he said shortly. "Your Order has pride."

He cleared his throat and unhooked his datapad from his belt. "The Lady's terms are as follows, if you are to do so much as to question them, your prideful order will be wiped away: Firstly, your presence near this Holy Temple is not permitted. You will stay at your pathetic base camp unless it is a dire emergency. Secondly, the Intergalactic Alliance must not know of your presence here. You will be the first to be kicked away if we are discovered."

The Knight, glanced the Jedi over once more and exhaled in disgust. "The rest are menial."

Those words out of his mouth, the nameless Knight held out the datapad, dropping it on the sandy grounds. He whisked himself back into the Temple, where he would present himself to a master, showing his work was done.

The man, standing just outside of his shuttle, crouched down on the floor. He gently ran his hands along the sand, feeling the coarse texture. He picked up and handlful of the hand, then allowed it to trickle eligantly through his fingers. After every last grain had gone, he stood back up and looked towards the temple.

This planet has been tainted. The sand here feels very different to last time. It has been spoilt.

The man began walking towards the building. He wanted to find out what had happened to korriban since his last visit. It was obvious something was wrong with the planet. Something did not belong here.

((Am back, for an hour or so.))

Walking inside the temple Storm wandered to his room. Sitting down contemplateing on what the Jedi had said, he wondered if he would take him up on his promises, he seamed to be unerved by the dark force on Korriban.

(( whee ))

"My offer stands Atra... may you ever change your mind...
Maybe I think highly of myself, of the order, but that gives me strenght... the strenght that there might be a chance in winning...tough I should know better"

The first sentence was a scream after Atra, the rest was a mumbling inside
At the moment he was turning back to his craft, slightly sad because the alliance wasn't made at the moment, but still having hope inside that it may happen later, Maniac notices that someone comes out of the temple.

He takes a look at the person that came out, obviously a member of the dark jedi. He keeps his eyes focused at the person while he listens to his words.

"Pride, you say? yes...we have pride.... we need it to survive...
I had to come to your terretory...I had a question for your master... now that the little chatup finished, I will return to my 'Pathetic village'

Just remember that a part of that village is made of temple ruins... some, like me, prefer those over crappy huts... I don't think the ancient sith like it that you call their constructions crappy..."

He says with a smile, obviously, the latest sentence was ment as a joke..

After hearing the "ladies terms", he is slightly dissapointed. There surely needs to be done more before we even have a chance of winning this war... but for now, he'll just has to accept this.

He keeps his eyes focussed at the person until he is out of sight, and picks up the datapad. After taking a short look at it he clips it on his belt and starts running back to his craft.
Taking a look at the sky, that is turning blood red, he thinks

I should be able to make it back before nightfall if I hurry... it should still be light at our village
PostPosted: Fri Jan 21, 2005 1:44 am

After maniac finally reached his ship, he hops in, and starts up the ships systems

"Time to head home"

He takes off, and flies back to the jedi village, still a bit sad about the outcome of the mission...but this was what they had to live with...

for now

Walking inside the temple Storm wandered to his room. Sitting down contemplateing on what the Jedi had said, he wondered if he would take him up on his promises, he seamed to be unerved by the dark force on Korriban.

Odeon remained still as this man progressed towards the chambers and eventually went in. When he saw nobody else was around, he silently walked out of the dark area that had confided him for some time.

I wish to meet the owner and the Master of this temple... It is going to take some time, obviously, with the turnout we are getting so far... Odeon reaches back and pulls his white hair out from underneath his cloak. It was very bright, and hung down to his shoulders. His bangs were off to each side, but when straightened, two bangs would hang straight down to the sides of his mouth, covering his eyes.
