Cuatela slowly turned to face the bot, redirecting his sensors at the pod. After a minute, he shook his head and allowed the sensors to return to radius scan.

"Nothing. As far as my systems can detect, this thing isn't even here."

Mini-Bio: General Tso
Agent Name: Agent Tso
Rank: Crew
Section: 5
Designation: Chief of Security
-------

Tso took another look around the room he seemed to be stuck in. Designed as one of the close in "Friend/Foe Identification Rooms" there were several 'target' dummies with fake weapons scattered about the room as well as a pair of 'hostage' dummies mixed in. The security camera in this room had been malfunctioning with a jammed focusing mechanism for almost a week and Tso had finally given up on maintenance getting around to it. Having a break in his day he'd grabbed a small repair kit and a new mechanism and headed into the training area. And now... Alarms had gone off and the door had locked.

Joy.

Tso had nothing but his .45 sidearm, neuralizer and the repair kit. Cursing his stupidity, he wistfully thought back to his custom shotgun/grenade launcher combo that he'd left back in his office. Three Sections away and several dozen secure bulkheads seperated him from his favorite toy. He'd get no help from that. Sighing, he started banging on the door. "Hey! Anybody out there? Who started a training Session while personnel were on the range!?! Hello!?!"

[yaaaaay! It's Tso-chan to save the day! Or is it? Haha, I'd been hoping you woild come to us Tso! Welcome!]]
Agent Ginji looked at the pulsating Pod, searching for some way to destroy it and whatever may lay inside, without causing it to release it's contents first. Staring at the cracks on the Pod, Ginji took out his trusty Datapad and did som minor calculations, seeing where he'd have to stand in order to to hit the pod at the right angle to completly pierce the interior, as well as shatter whatever cranial structutre the thing inside had, assuming it was of human-like anatomy. Ginji sighed lightly, and took a few steps back, and then whispered to those around him "Ok everyone...tis pod has a very reflective surface when it comes to projectile protection. If it wasn't already cracking, it would be impossible to destroy with any of the guns we have here. But it's started cracking, so there is a way...Just make sure you don't get hit if the blast ricochets. Agent Cutela, I'll need to borrow your gun for a bit if you don't mind."

Elsewhere in the room, a certain door's security lock was malfunctioning. It seemed that the keupad's lockking mechanism had been partially damaged by all of the bvarious vibrations today, making it able to go in, but impossible to go out. Fortunatly, there existed two ways to remedy this problem. 1) The Cheif of Security, Agent Tso, could at some point in time manually fix the door from outside and initiallize a full systems Security Reboot from his desk, thus repairing the security sytem that kept the lock in place. 2) Someone could somehow hit the keypad with an incredibly high voltage of energy from a very certain angle to melt right through the core of the keypad and shift the doors lock to Manual mode. The problem with option 2, while seemingly easy, was that the shot woould have to be incrdibly precise due to all the various security protocols set to prevent rouge agents from blasting open whatever doors they felt like. If the keypad was simply and blatantly destroyed without melting only the core, the door as well as it's contents would be sealed away permanantly, untill the Chief of Security himself completed option One.

Cuatela nodded and pressed a few buttons to disable his rifle's anti-theft system, then stepped over and offered it to Ginji. As he held it out, he simultaneously reached back to grip the handle of the vibro-katana on his back.

[[btw, if it wasn't obvious before, the rifle uses an energy pulse, not metallic projectiles. Just wanted to make that clear ninja ]]

[[oh trust me, I'm counting on that.]]
Agent Ginji took the rifle and breathed in deely, never actually using one of these before, despite having updated a few with cyber-optic implat options. Stepping to an appropriate position, Ginji once again sighed and took aim. He relaxed his breathing, stood tall, and placed his hand over, but not touching, the trigger. "Allright...One shot...If I miss, the impact will make that pod fall down, and who knows what will happen..." Ginji carefull aimed again, and started charging the Pulse Rifle, breathing to a count, preparing to fire. "One....Two...Thr--" Suddenly, a noise appeared from out of nowhere, startling Ginji. He jerked backwards, slipping in some of the ooze, and in the midst of his fall squeezed the trigger, releasing a fully charged blast at the Pods reflective surface. As predicted, the Energy Pulse rebounded off the pod, doing virtually no damage to it, and flew off in an arc directly behjing GInji and the others, ironically aiming at the same door the noise that startled Ginji had come from. Amazingly enough however, the energy round hit not the door, but the Keypad besides it. The very core of the key pad. Forgetting about the pod momentarily, Ginji handed the Rifle back to Agent Cutela and rushed to inspect what had been done. "Oh s**t...Agent Tso's gonna kill me for this! That blast
disabled this entire damn doors security, so now we'll have to replace it...What is this room anyway? Agent Cutela, come with me, Agent Exe and Tenshi, keep an eye on that pod, but come get me if anythign happens to it!" Slowly, Ginji opened the door to the room, not sure of what to expect on the other side...

Cuatela nodded and accepted the rifle back and resheathed his vibro-katana, then reactivated the security system as he took up a covering position behind Ginji. He tried to scan the room beyond, but this section had obviously been built with the ultimate security in mind, and the scanners only revealed that the wall was made of some kind of metal.

"Can't get a reading from inside. Walls are blocking--"

The scanners found the gap in the door, and the room beyond.

"--wait. Something is moving in there. I'm reading at least one life form inside. No energy readings other than the building's systems, at least none that I can detect."

[That can be arranged...now...for some action!]
-----
Elsehere in the Training Complex:
"Attention! Battle Suit Capabilities restored!" The S.A.X. glanced around, still unsure of the source of the so-called 'GiB Instruction Module S.A.X. Mk-1'. "What does that mean?" the S.A.X. asked, still searching for another exit out of the room. "Battle suit has regained Morph Ball capabilites in addition to Roller Bombs. To use these features, focus your ghi to the center of the Battle suit. To release a Roller Bomb, while in Morphed form, release a short burst of ghi energy along the outside of your suit. To return to Standind Form, send a sustained stream of ghi energy outwards." "Hmmmm....sounds usefull. Can I use this to escape the room?" "Affirmative. Roller Bombs contain the necessary power to destroy air vents without activating Security Sentry. However, while in Morphed Form, your body will emit a sustained energy signature capable of detection. Use at your discretion." "Very well....time to leave this room" said the S.A.X. as he expirimented with his new abilities, found a vent, and proceded into it. The S.A.X.'s escape had just begun. Fortunatly for the Agents, none of the air vents led outside. Unfortunatly, all of the air vents were connected to other parts of the Training Facility.

General Tso

PostPosted: Thu Jan 22, 2009 6:12 am

Tso, banging on the door, was stunned when the distinct sounds of weapons fire rang through the cold metal composite. "Oh crap... They are using live ammo and I'm in a target room." Tso quickly took cover behind some barrels in the corner and hoped noone sprayed the room, because energy weapons would cut right through his protection like butter. As he heard the door open he yelled "Hold your Fire! Friendlies! Don't Shoot!" Tso slowly stood up, hoping that he didn't get incinerated by some brand new recruit with an itchy trigger finger.

[[woot! Poke'Ball capture successfull! I caught a level 54 Tso-chu [btw, totally new idea for one of your comics, I think it would be hillarious and isn't too far-fetched for your characters to seem realistic. PM me if ya wanna hear my idea]! It was tricky, but I pulled it off! The imaginatioin knows no bounds!]]
Agent Ginji peeked past the corner of the room and looked into what he first thought to be a slaughter house. Bodies covered the room, some tied up, others with guns. All of them had stupid smiley faces oin them with board shorts, neck ties, and Bug-eyed sunglasses, making it nearly impossible to discern the hostile targets from the hostage victims. And in the middle of the room, with a small pistol, stood Agent Tso, renowned for his wit, satrcasm, and utter charm, which gave him a sharp look no matter what he wore, as witnessed by the G.iB. Winter ball of 2006, when he fasionably pull of his infamous Pink Dress as a charity event for the public, which was later neuralized for their protection. Or so the story went. Caught in the flash-back and overcome with emotion, Agent Ginji went into automatic, sprinting full speed towards the Agent with the Golden Beard "Tsoooooooo-chaaaaaaaaan!!" he cried out as he rushed headlong to the rightfully uneasy Agent.

Cuatela followed Ginji inside, but stopped short as Ginji ran off yelling. Somewhat confused, Cuatela took a few more steps inside, tracking past Ginji as he did, then lowered his rifle as he recognized Tso. Shaking his head, Cuatela continued looking around the room. Seemed this room was a targeting room of some kind. Cuatela shrugged and walked over toward Tso, careful to keep his rifle pointed away from him.

"Oh haaaaaaaiiiiiii!" Tenshi waved at Tso happily, this showing on the helmet's LED "It's nice to see something to beat the crap out in here"

To make emphasis on her statement, she lifted a can of... something, it was empty anyways, and slashed it in two with her B&-blade.

"Whut are you doing here anyways?" she asked tilting her head, the LED changing to a confused expression "Are there n00bs here to be pointed out?"

It was he odd confusion of swapping Sector 5 with Sector 7... or which ever sector was of the 'noble excuses'. Still, a Sec. 5 wasn't supposed to be there right? I mean, she was a 4... kicker of asses of the unknown, the others where the 'janitor room's random supplies manager', but Sector 5? What did one of them had to do here?

All this made her go into wonder, looking up while thinking, the LED going from random question marks to showing actually the thoughtful expression. Maybe someday she'll be able to figure what each sector does actually...

"As glad as I am to see you three... What's going on in here? I didn't think there were any exercises scheduled for today?"
