Word I Am When nor did secret santa last year, I never got my gift. xD I was gonna say a photoshop contest, but not everyone has that. Maybe just a photo contest? Pick a theme, everyone takes a picture of it and sends it in, and the best one wins? x3

A photo contest would be interesting, but not everybody has a camera, ready on hand... then again, I do like the idea.
Maybe we should gear toward gift-giving again? Or was that a total bomb?

I was working at the time, so I don't remember.
But I know it did take up until the end of January to get people their gifts because of lack of activity on the guild's part.
I think the reason Word never got her gift was because the person who was supposed to get her gift never sent it in. I don't nkw.

Or was that a total bomb?I kinda like the idea of a photo contest, the whole theme thing and everything but itd have to be on a time limit and the number of pics would have to be limited. also youd have to say whether you could edit the pics or not, i think you shouldnt be able to, that way its more original and everything.

But if we went by saying "some people don't have" or "some people can't" then we'd never have contests that weren't based on luck.

Congrats darks angel forever on the contest. but magadei that does ave to be considered a little not full blown out of scale but a little. cause what this guild really needs to do right now is get the guild going again but if your having contest were it limits the amount of people to a good small amount you aint going to get nowhere. look the last two contests aloud a large range of people to join cause it didnt have really a restriction, yet few people already participated. so if you toss in somethign where it does limit the amount of people these contest are going to get nowhere. but hey im just a guy who learns from expereince its cool to ignore me if you want. anywho a photo editing contest would be good just make it a little more reachable to more people. for example you provide the people with a couple of pictures then they can choose 2 of those pictures and do something to it, something funny or something awesome and creative. that way they can use paint or photoshop, or gimp. somethign like that is more appropriate and wide arm reaching to the crowd.

Most people left/quit the guild after the final million was given out.
Hardly any of the contests since then have had active participants, because we're pulling funds out of our own inventories/pockets. I'm not placing blame on anyone, I'm just explaining that we really haven't had activity other than those in the chat thread. :/

reason this guild was ever as active
as it was was because of the constant
contests. When the funds ran out
a year ago, that was kaput. Contests
now are pretty much a treat, not
trying to get the guild as active as
it used to be.

True. Let's keep the photo/photoshop/paint (The three P's!) idea in mind. I do like the idea, don't get me wrong. Maybe photograph a specific scenery. Something Christmasieh. :3
