I'm jot some notes down here for my ridiculous amounts of templates... 'Cause I dun' know where else to put them.
Anyway. You don't HAVE TO be evil or neutral... but it'll help. My poor PC isn't evil in th traditional sense, but is evil simply because when he's hungry, he's going to eat something. I'm gonna homebrew a magic item or to that will key people to be percieved as "Completely, irrefutably, unequivocably impossible to eat" in his eyes. Also, the keeper will be percieved as a clutch mate, and he'll be attachd to them like a puppy to it's favoritest owner ever.

Well, funny you should mention that, Tiamat plays a rather vital role in the backstory actually xd . I don't know if you've read the story of dragon creation in the Races of the Dragon, but if you have, then you can know that my charecter is an attempt to bring about the merger of the dragon species without the intervention of a Bahamut-Tiamat matrimony; obviously, things didn't work out quite right, but things didn't go quite wrong either. I just realized I completely forgot to list my Lernaen multiheaded template abilities under racial features. I need to go add my +16 spot and search, +16 con, ability to use a breath weapon from all 9 heads, and the inability of the body to take any damage, only the sundering of the heads will cause death, but like a hydra, they revive as two more in 1d4 rounds. They can be sealed, of course, with 5 points of fire or acid, but guess which energy types I'm convenienly immune to? :innocent: I'm also trying to figure out what kind of monstrosity you have planned here. I see 24 animal hit dice, but I also see features of an outsider, which leads me to hypothesize a half-demon/celestial perhaps, as well as traits that I would normally attribute to golems and gelatinus cubes.

There's a little seat of the pants'ing going on with the creature type, since half of his templates change it. I just picked one, since I don't know the rules on it. And I am guilty of putting a template on there that only applies to humanoids, but I really couldn't help myself. I really couldn't.
And it actually is a patchwork monstrosity, nothing that could ever occur naturally.
And... uh...
I think my dewd could totally kill yer dewd. Well... provided someone told him "Hit it in the face!" instead of his usual pounce/rip/tear/nomnomnom strategy.
Anyway, it appears that there are multiple candidates for Zzktnel's buddy...
Calimdoras, however, is not one of them. Mostly because I have an unnatural hate of genies. scream
Scifijames... you think that I could petition you for a homebrew? If my guy could get swallow whole, that would be awesome. Also, you said we couldn't start off with any magical equipment... but could mine start off with a necklace or some such that prevents him from eating his allies? it wouldn't have any numerical benefits.
