"Hah!" He bounced back from her and put one of his wings over her head so the water dripped on to her, "If I'm wet, you are, too!"

She laughs as he drips water on her. "Hey!" She bats at his wing trying to get it away from her.

He pulled his wing away, but kept them both out, as they were both shedding quite a bit of water still. But he couldn't help but laugh at her protest. "You could just move," he said with a wink.

She giggles looking up at him. "Oh i know. I was just playing around a bit." She moves away a little and shakes herself dry again.

Daniel chuckled, and took a moment to smooth out his jacket. He still left his wings extended, since they were nowhere near dry, the the rest of him was... getting there. "Well, I'm glad you're feeling better now."

Umicho giggles and gets up, leading him to a big smooth rock. "Try sunning up there. It may speed the drying proccess."

He followed behind her before lying on his side, stretching his wings and widely as he could. The rock was soon soaked by the water dripping out of them, but the sun dried it quickly, and worked on his wings as well. "It's a bummer if mold gets in there... It's hard to clean out."

"You could use your claws like a comb you know? It helps a lot when you need to get tangles and dirt out of your fur." She lays down on the grass near the rock, relaxing in the sun.

Daniel chuckled, "You can't comb feathers... My claws would tear them up." He did start using them to go through his mane, though.

She rolls over onto her back, her chest and stomach still wet. A soft purr leaves her mouth as the warmth washes over her, her tail swishes back and forth. "True. Sorry."

Daniel shrugged, and continued to work the knots out of his mane, not feeling the need to respond verbally. He was in a bit of a catatonic state anyhow, the sun relaxing him and his mind wandering astray from his working claws. They were, however, wandering to this female...

Umicho watches clouds move around in the sky, stretching her hind legs that were still sore from the race. The big winged lion on the rock she had shown him kept coming to her mind. He certainly kept up with her, and his sense of humor never ceased to make her smile....

Once he had deemed his mane free of unwanted tangles, Daniel rested his head on his front paws and closed his eyes for awhile. He eventually opened one eyes at Umicho, "I would have won, you know," he commented in a quite provoking tone.

When he speaks she looks over at him, smiling warmly. "Oh I know. I was pushing myself too hard from the start. But..." She rolls to her side, facing him now. "If I had paced myself, I could've won."

Daniel raised a brow, now opening both eyes, "Not if I caught an updraft. I'd've soared right over the top of you at the starting line~" he teased, sticking out his tongue.
