Spike The Super Saiyan adrian peterson, what would the vikings record be if he is gone, 2-10? I don't think it would be that bad, because Chester Taylor is still a very good running back. But yeah, they would probably have a losing record.

Dude-LAP This could be a shake-up week in the MVP race. Both Kurt Warner and Drew Brees did not perform well this week. Maybe new faces are starting to emerge. Michael Turner? Adrian Peterson? DeAngelo Williams? Maybe even Eli Manning? good pick with Turner but wait a min if i remember correctly you said hes not a good canidate because hge can only run over bad d's

Actually, the only good rush defense he did well against were the Panthers, and he killed them. But other than that, he did well against San Diego, Denver, Oakland, New Orleans, Green Bay, Kansas City, and Detroit. If he does well against two elite defenses in weeks 15 and 16 (against the Buccaneers and Vikings), then I think he'll be in huge consideration.

Anyways, the Raiders don't have a good defense. They just stop the run at times, because teams are scared to throw at Asomugha.

I gotta go with Kurt Warner, He is having a Pro-bowl year, and is putting up numbers that can surpass what he put up the year he did win the MVP. And on top of that, he has led the Cardinals to their first Division title in 33 years. Granted it was in a very poor NFC West division, but never the less, Warner gets my vote.

I never really thought about it, but what about the AFC East? I'm not calling these players front-runners, but whichever QB leads their team to an AFC East division title could very well be in consideration. The Jets' Brett Favre, the Dolphins' Chad Pennington, and the Patriots' Matt Cassel are all doing very well this season.

Just throwing it out there, Adrian Peterson. Leads the in rushing, and has carried the Vikings offense on his back for most of the season. Kurt Warner looked confused against a talented defense, he always does.

Yeah, Adrian Peterson is on the rise, while Kurt Warner and Drew Brees and Clinton Portis (who seemed to be the leading candidates earlier this season) are on the decline. Could be a close race, that is determined until the end of season.

IndianapolisColtsFan Hmm.. Alot of people are picking Michael Turner MVP.. Michael Turner, Adrian Peterson, and DeAngelo Williams seem to be the top RBs that could win the award. Thomas Jones and Clinton Portis are also in the mix. ...But this could very well be a QBs year...

In the beginning of the year no, but now it's like Heck yes. other notable QB's Matt Ryan, Kurt Warner, Brett Favre, Drew Brees, or Phillip Rivers.

Right now, I think it's coming down to either Peyton Manning or Adrian Peterson.
After this week's performance against the Jaguars, Manning played great for the Colts, and solidified their place into their seventh consecutive playoff appearance. He played almost perfect, and is the front runner.
Peterson has two tough games ahead of him, and if he plays well in both, while keeping the Vikings the division winners from the NFC North, he very well could win MVP.
