Once she had gotten her orientation back, the girl had regained her stoic composure, casting Ala one brief look. Tyven had gotten into plenty of fights, and knew damage. Ala'd had her a** kicked, but she'd be fine. Maybe a broken nose, or ribs, but she'd heal.

Luckily for Tyven, she was saved from any physical embarassment because she was still wearing the wraps from her training session, and those, unlike her shirt, were still perfectly intact.

As the began to walk away, she stooped slightly to grab the strap of her duffel bag, something she always had when she left the gym, and frowned slightly, before she comprehended Nero and Cleo's words.

"I'm fine." An answer to any and all of their questions. Apparently, she wasn't taking her coat back. Her pale eyes rested on the back of Simon's head before going to give Cleo a slightly accusatory look. The bird must have been secretly involved with the shark for a while, to have put stuff at a warehouse. Her expression said, quite frankly, that they would be discussing a lot, later.

For now, though, she simply frowned, eyes going distant as she let Cleo 'help' her along. That dragon had been pretty strong.

Kliken gave a little jolt of surprise and then a sound of relief when the gray girl sat up proving that she was alive still. Before he could really say anything, ask her how she was the dragon was moving over to them and he froze in place looking at the large creature a little afraid of it after seeing it attack someone... then starred when he started to talk, "Ahhh... y-yes." He murmured, ready to help her out, more so now that the dragon asked him too.

He looked over his shoulder freezing in place once more when this time the shark boy was talking to him and he could only nod dumbly at his words. He looked over in the direction of the coffee shop long enough that when the he looked back the others were already leaving... he was rather glad to see them go... they were an intimidating group.

He turned his attention back to Ala then, "I'm Kliken, c-can you s-stand?" He asked of her, "W-We can c-call for h-help in there. C-Can get you t-to a doctor." He pointed at the coffee shop that the shark boy had pointed out to him. He couldn't help but stare at her, all banged up and bloody.

Tural shuffled over to the pair of slowly, looking up at Bob but not for long as he didn't want to upset the dragon. Instead he moved over to sit next to his boy and nudged his snout against his shoulder and chirped at him.

For once, Bob didn't talk everyone's legs off. He was more concerned about Ala for the moment being. She was bleeding and that was not good. Plus, she was soaked through and was topless, though she really had nothing to hide anyways. Her sports bra more than covered what little boobage the girl had. "'La... put this one..." The dragon had managed to delicately pick up Simon's discarded shirt that the shark boy had tossed at them. Her own shirt was torn and would do no good. This would be better than nothing... even if it looked a bit big for her.

Ala winced, glancing at the top. It wouldn't be easy to put it on with her sides hurting like this. Luckily, the boy who had remained behind was talking and she could ignore her dragon's concern for the moment. "I..." she winced, "don't think so." Oh how her sides hurt! She wanted to do nothing more than curl back up on the ground and cry in pain.

Bob was torn for the moment. He wanted to stay and protect Ala, but he wanted to make sure she was going to get better. "Protect her." He told Kliken and Tural, trusting the younger dragon to help. He wasn't going far. "I'm going to see if they've called..." He flicked a wing towards the coffee shop. The brass had no more than made it halfway when sirens could be heard in the distance. He paused, waiting to see if they were coming this way or if it was just coincidence.

Simon continued to step briskly down the street... "The warehouse, yeah." He answered both Cleo and Nero's questions at once. Get out, get out, get out... Even if Alaqua had deserved every bust and bruise, cops wouldn't take it that way... at least in his experience. And the witnesses inside the shop would only argue against them...

In his tunnel vision though, something else registered. The voice of someone not in his quad... well, he knew she'd been there... he hadn't totally been expecting her to follow. So...

He stopped suddenly, maybe a minute or two into their trip, hand still roughly holding to Nero's wrist, though with Nero's tough exoskeleton he was surely just fine. "You. Dusa." he turned to her, looking past the other two girls. "You should go." Something in his tone seemed to say 'you WILL go.'

"Nothing against you, but I don't trust you." Point blank... it was a fact, he'd only met her, and she'd done nothing in the fight. She'd stood there. That attitude, in his experience, meant she was on neutral ground. And people on neutral ground were not to be trusted. They made good spies, which was exactly what Simon didn't want in his very secret hideout.

"No hard feelings." he sighed a little... he didn't want to start s**t, but lets be honest... the lumbering shark man had zero tact.

So he turned away again... finally realizing he had a hold of Nero, and with a brief stumble dropped the poor boy's hand and started forward on his own. Several blocks away he spoke once more, softer "If you see her following us let me know." he wanted to make sure it was just the four of them that rounded the next few corners, running a 'secret path' down to the aforementioned warehouse.

The old abandoned dump was something only Cleo had seen, and grabbing a rusty chain, he pulled the mechanism of levers, with loud clanking and squeaking the door rose open, and Simon led them inside... it smelled musky, beer and other unfavorable substances laid around in various places. Some extra clothes... an old molding couch. And to top it all off some dim lighting and a fridge. At least it was empty at this time of day.

"First aids over there." he pointed... stepping away to dig around for some towels and blankets, drying himself off first then passing them along to the group.

Nero felt slightly relieved that Tyven was at least well enough to walk and claim she was ok. He glanced over his shoulder again just to make sure. Looking forward once more Nero was forced to make a quick stop almost stumbling into Simon as he came to an abrupt halt. As Simon addressed the youngest of the group, Nero just stood there quietly. He felt bad for the girl but knew there wasn't really much he could do for her, and besides Simon wasn't being really all that mean to her.

Then they started off again, Nero still walked right behind Simon even though the shark boy was no longer holding his wrist. After a minute or two Simon spoke again and at his words Nero looked over his shoulder again, but he couldn't see the blue girl.

Finally they were at the warehouse Simon had been leading them to. It wasn't exactly the best smelling or looking place Nero had ever been in but at least it was dry and out of the way so everyone could calm down a bit. Nero took the towel as it was handed to him and dried his hair, besides his close it was the only real wet part of him, his skin never stayed wet for long. Once he was done drying his hair he passed the towel along.

Cleo didn't wilt away at Tyvens look. Her eyelids fluttered into the briefest of winces, but kept her arm tight around her sister. If anything, it just tightened a bit more. As they walked toward the warehouse, she only squirmed herself closer to Tyven.

The goldcrest didn't tell her sister to sit on the couch (because, quite frankly? Ew. Cleo was usually on a bag or something she'd brought, if she had hung out there at all). She stepped away from her just enough to make sure the older girl was steady before hopping away to the first aide kit. Any other time, she would have said something flippant to make Simon grumble but, ah. Tyven probably wouldn't appreciate that at the moment.

She retrieved the first aide kit instead. It had been opened a few times, but mainly things like bandaides were missing - not the bandages or the disinfectant or anything like that. Of course not. Simons boys were like himself. Big, brutal, but not too bright. It worked out well for Cleo; she plucked out what she needed for Tyven before going back to her sister. Tyven had a quiet Cleo for a few moments as she got to work before yellow eyes blinked up at her.

"Are you mad at me?" She said, voice small.

While Tyven didn't find herself at all attractive, she also had no modesty about her body, which she considered nothing more than a weapon or tool. Something to house her mind. Her wraps were wet, bloody, and dirty, and she wouldn't be saving them. Turning her back to the boys, the tall girl dropped her duffel bag onto the ground, unzipping it and pulling out a switchblade.

"... No. Not mad."

First she stripped off the tattered dress shirt she'd worn. High quality, now ruined [both girls had a taste for style, albeit quite different style], and then easily sliced through all of her wraps, shedding them quickly from her body. Her pale skin was a stark contrast against her occasional dark purple scales, and the scratches and cuts from the dragon stood out.

Cleo had cleaned her skin quickly, and the snake went about using the bandages to rewrap herself. Who knew when the next fight would come, after all? When that task was completed, within moments as she was so practiced at the act, she pulled her towel from the bag, taking her hair out of it's now messy bun and beginning to dry it.

"I'll need the antiseptic and that's it, Cleo. The cuts will heal quickly, none of them are bad." None that weren't already covered by her wraps, that was.

When she finished drying, she handed the towel to the small girl, using the somewhat dingy one Nero had passed along to spread on the ground for seating. Reaching into her bag again, she handed Cleo a pair of sweats and a sweatshirt, another pair of sweatpants was kept for herself. It wasn't a surprise that they were in there, considering they'd both been at the gym together and that Tyven had a habit of packing for the two of them.

Wet slacks were peeled off and exchanged for dry sweatpants before Tyven bothered to head back to Simon's side of the room, idly combing her long hair.

"Thank you for getting that dragon off of my back." A respectful nod. He was a brave, if stupid, guy. They could be allies.

Simon took his seat, the musky couch wasn't anything to be afraid of... at least not the far right side of it, the far left even Simon questioned... Maybe if he was wearing a shirt still he'd cope. He scooted all the way though, leaving room for anyone else if they wanted to sit... He kicked his feet up on the crate in front of the couch, rolling his head back into the comfort of the plush.

A heavy sigh left his lips, but other than that, he did absolutely nothing while Cleo and Tyven went about their business.

He glanced up when he heard a voice, blinking at Tyven as though he'd forgotten she was around... but-- "Oh, yeah no sweat..." it seemed he was calming back down, at least... the tension in his voice had ebbed some as his body had accepted that it was out of fight or flight time. No sweat was an understatement though... Simon, somewhere, knew it was a dumb move but, whatever... He'd do it again, besides, he got out without a scratch so... no harm no foul?

"Two against one isn't cool, no matter whats happening." he added, for like the twelveth time that day. It was a rule though, one everyone needed to know... perhaps it was simply habit to state the rules over and over when dealing with people even dumber than himself all day-- er, night long.

Nero decided against sitting on the couch, not because it looked dirty and smelled a bit funny, but because he felt he should wait for the girls to get done with dressing Tyven's wounds and then see if maybe they wanted to sit down. He glanced over at Simon as the shark boy let out a sigh, well at least he was starting to calm down.

Thinking back on the events of the evening Nero couldn't help but shake his head a bit. How could something so simple as running to the store for a few ingredients turn into something so crazy as a street brawl between two girls, Simon, and a dragon? He couldn't even remember what the things he was supposed to get were anymore. Aw well, Ella probably wouldn't care seeing as she hadn't wanted him to go out in the rain anyways.

Nero came out of his thoughts when he heard Tyven speaking. He hadn't caught what she said but figured it was some form of thanks directed at Simon judging by his response. Mentally Nero agreed with Simon on the fact that two against one wasn't fair.

"I - No - But - Tyvvie-"

Any of Cleos protests were cut off by Tyvens efficient movements or words, and left the small gold crest a bit lost as her sister did this and that. She stood there helplessly, chewing at her lower lip until Tyven thrust her clothing at her. Cleo squeaked and grasped at the cloth; by the time she was able to straighten up to change, Tyven was across the room and talking to Simon.

Gah.

Well. Of all the things she had done in the warehouse, she'd never changed clothes. There were always the boys there and, well. Cleo didn't trust them enough to do that. But the little silly cute thing was all a fluttered between - well, not her, that was obvious - and it wasn't as if Simon would attempt to sneak a peek. He'd already said he didn't think 'kids' like her were attractive.

So she shrugged and squirmed from her clothes without a care in the world. The wet fabric was tossed to the side; Cleo was humming a rather upbeat tune as she changed.

"Mama, we're all going to hell. I'm writing this letter, and wishing you well~ Oh, Mama, we're all going to hell~" At least she had a good voice? Cleo paused only when she tried to pull on the sweatpants. The shirt was a tank top, and made for Tyvens height, so it hung down to just above her thighs. If it wasn't for the expression of frustrated confusion on her face, one would probably have assumed she was trying to be... well. Half-naked.

She held the sweatpants up instead. "Tyvvie? I don't think these are gonna fit me. They're long," A pause, "And big."

Tyven, also cooling off, carefully stretched her sore muscles, fists clenching and unclenching as she raised her arms above her head, nodding at Simon's comment. She didn't bother to answer, and instead, glanced over at Cleo's words, striding back to the goldcrest's side to assist her.

"Look," She reached out, helping the smaller girl into the baggy sweatpants. Her slim hands slid onto Cleo's hipbones and she grabbed the waistband of the sweats. "Just roll the top over until they fit alright." They did have about the same width hips, although that made Cleo appear curvier. She folded the waistband down a few times, and glanced at the goldcrest's entire body. Pretty damn cute. The sweatpants were still baggy around her legs, but they weren't falling off. "See?"

Tyven didn't particularly care if Cleo wanted to wear them or not. It was too cold for her not too, and they weren't showing up at home minus clothing. Looking over her shoulder at Simon, she directed a statement to him.

"Thanks for letting us clean up here. We'll be on our way, soon."

There was alot of silence going on at the moment... save for cleo... a background noise that he didn't mind at all. It meant he didn't have to really focus on anything... he could just kinda fade out for a few more minutes.

And no, Simon had no intent to peak... he didn't care to be honest. Usually, he just acted like he did... though like every young boy there were times, but they were few and far between. He blamed his mom, full-heartedly.

That stopped though, and Tyven announced that the two would take their leave soon-- heh... was it just him or... when he looked back at the two, it had looked a lot like himself and Nero... really strange. Tyven towered above her smaller friend, was kinda big and tough... and Cleo was that short and cute thing going... though packed a punch. There were differences, more than he could bother to name, but for juuust a second.

Well... That is, before her and Nero... had... eheh... his dark eyes moved back to the poor boy, why was he even here-- oh yeah... Simon had dragged him hadn't he? Ugh. The whole situation gave him a headache. his fingers rose to pinch the bridge of his nose as he let his head fall back again... "S'cool. Take your time." He replied, suddenly pretending that nero wasn't there at all. The shark didn't know how to handle that settling sensation of Guilt in his stomach, so he just stared forward, looking irritated.

Maybe Nero'd been away long enough that he could finally mistake the way Simon was acting as him being a jerk~ Everyone else would... so, yeah... then he'd leave, and... and he wouldn't have to apologize...! One idiot could always hope, right?

Nero took special care not to look in the direction that Cleo's voice was coming from, my that wall directly across from him seemed awfully interesting all of a sudden. Nero would never even dream of taking a look. It wasn't until Tyven mentioned leaving that he finally glanced over.

He should probably be heading on home as well. He wasn't sure how he'd explain his lateness or the fact he hadn't done what he had set out for, after a few moments of debate he decided he tell Ella only part of the truth, leaving out mainly the details on just how bad the fight had gotten. He was just about to say that he would be leaving too when he realized that he had no clue how to get back. Well maybe Tyven and her friend would let him tag along for a bit.

Nero was on the verge of asking when he noticed Simon glance at him. Nero watched him for a minute, for some reason he had a feeling that the shark teen was getting mad again. But why? No one was fighting, in fact there was very little going on, the few things that were said were short and to the point and said in fairly quiet tones. So tilting his head to the side and without really thinking he asked, "S-something wrong, J-Jekel?"
PostPosted: Thu Oct 30, 2008 8:13 pm

"We're going home?" Oh, Cleo almost pouted, but Tyven received a rather dazzling smile anyway. She adored her little sister to absolute pieces, and made sure the snake knew it at every turn. "The storm is breaking," Cleo continued, "So it's a good time to be leaving. Mmhmm."

It wasn't as if she didn't see him looking at Nero, either. She and Simon may not have been the uber omg bestest of friends, but they were friends, and she put her trust in him. Cleo always made a habit of studying things, taking notice in minute details, expressions, and how people showed their emotions. She'd always taken care to watch Simon doubly close. He was angry, yes, but there were always different sorts of angry.

She hadn't seen this sort of angry before, and the tension between them was tinting the air.

Suddenly, the bird sprung away from Tyven. She was fast, and quickly made her way over to Simon. Cleo hopped up as soon as she got close enough; a flap of wings made sure she could reach as she flung her arms around the older boy. His shoulders and neck were captured, and Cleo hugged him tight. Simon even got a firm kiss on the cheek.

"You were marvelous, fighting that dragon," The words were a murmur, said low and firm, just for him. "Don't do anything too stupid with him, Hyde. Kay?"

Another kiss, another squeeze, and she was gone, all but bouncing in front of him. That half-crazy, half-optimistic smile was plastered on her lips once more. Cleo was smart enough to keep out of his strike range. She spun around and flounced back to Tyven, her hand moving out to try to touch her sisters wrist.

"We're leaving now?"

Cleo needn't have reached out. Tyven's expression was dark and dangerous once more, and her hand shackled Cleo's wrist within an instant. Those wrathful lavender eyes locked on Simon, the slit-pupils delivering their warning quite well.

"Yes. Now."

Giving away her more base nature, that black tongue snaked out briefly, scent/tasting the air as the moved to grab her bag. Her gaze flicked over to Nero, losing most of its aggression. "This is a shady part of town. We can walk you home, if you want."

She wasn't a mean girl.
