*signs* hey everyone!!
Here is a recipe. I didn't measure out the things I used, and there's no exact amount of stuff to use. So, if you like one thing more than the other, add a little more of it! This is a recipe that you can have fun and experiment with. It took me about 5 minutes to make it, and it is very simple. I may edit this and add pictures, in case you have trouble with it.
INGREDIANTS:
- 1 apple
- a pinch of Allspice
- a pinch of cinnamon
- a (small) pinch of cloves
- brown sugar
- (about) a tsp. of water
- whipped cream (optional)
makes two servings.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut your apple half, evenly.
2. Scoop out the middle of each apple half with a spoon, removing the stem.
3. In each half, put a pinch of Allspice, a pinch of cinnamon, and a smaller pinch of cloves.
4. Microwave for 20-40 seconds, to make the apple soft. Your apple may need more or less time in the microwave, depending on the type of apple it is.
5. Put about a spoonful of brown sugar on top of the spices in each half of your apple. You may need more or less, it depends on how big your hole is in your apple half. Do not pack it down too hard, as your apple may be soft and you don't want to smush it.
6. Put a little bit of water into each apple half. Only a teeny tiny bit, so that the sugar does not stay dry. You don't want to put too much water in, or else it will overflow and be even messier.
7. (optional) Sprinkle some more Allspice, cloves and cinnamon into each apple half.
8. Microwave for another 15-20 seconds. Put some whipped cream on top, and serve! If you want, you can sprinkle a little cinnamon or allspice over the top of it for decoration.
You can eat your apple with a spoon, or you can pick it up and eat it. Also, if you take the skin off of the apple before you do anything to it, it's less messy. Also that way if you overcook it then it's easier to mash into applesauce!
ENJOY!
