Deciding he was really ok with it she continued ahead checking back every once in awhile to be sure she didn't get to far ahead of him. Suddenly she saw a small white shape moving back and forth in agitation and knew it was Ferey.

Lloyd made his way to the river walking quite slowly. He chuckled to himself as Ama checked back to make sure he was still there. After a couple of minutes he drew closer to Ama and spotted the pacing white shape that was Ferey. "This is the one you were talking about?"

"Yes that's Ferey." Running up and tackling the fox she licked it only to feel a set of sharp teeth in her muzzle. "Ouch!" Moving back she rubbed the bite marks. Hmph that's what you get for leaving without telling me. I've been waiting here for quite some time what kept you? "I was learning lessons. It was fun! I got to catch a glimpse of the Northern Territory! Oh this is my new friend Lloyd!" Turning she smiled at the brown male.

Lloyd slowly caught up with Ama and stared at the fox. He smiled at it with his head tilted. There was only one way to determine it's gender and it wouldn't like what he was going to do one bit. "Well might as well get this over with." He said approaching Ferey. He placed a paw on the fox's side and knocked it over so it was lying on it's back. "Ah. Well there. Now we can figure out what it is."

Turning to Lloyd she wondered how looking at Fereys belly could determine it's gender. Snarling in indignity Ferey was very unhappy with one of it's most vulnerable parts being forced to show to this stranger. Excuse me!? What do you think you're doing?!

Lloyd grinned as he lifted his paw from the fox. "I was merely determining your gender for Ama. She was curious to know if you were male or female." He said chuckling, "Ama..... You're little friend here is a male."

"Male? Ferey you're male? How can you tell Lloyd?" Going to push him over onto his back with her paw she was snapped at by sharp little teeth. Yes I'm male you young fool! And you! Glaring at Lloyd he watched him closely You better have been nice to Lady Ama. She may be younger but she IS a Lady.

Lloyd threw his head back laughing. "You two!" He said still laughing, "Are so funny." He shook his head and looked at Ama seriously. "I'll explain it to you some other time Ama. You're too much of a lady to know about this." He said looking at Ferey, "Oh course I've been nice to Ama. I am a gentleman....er gentlewolf after all."

"I am not! Ferey says I am but I don't see what makes me different from any other helix except I have the title Lady in front of my name. Ferey's just a stuck up fox who wants to sound like he's with someone important." Sticking her tongue out playfully at the fox she turned to Lloyd. "So tell me how you can tell?" He will do no such thing! You are much to young to know about that sort of thing and I do not! I don't have to stay here with you. I choose to so watch that tongue of yours or I might bite it off. Pretending to try to bite it off Ferey made Ama shoot her tongue back into her mouth.

Lloyd chuckled and shook his head. "But you are a Lady. I can tell by the way you are. You may seem no different from others but you are. It is only when others see how you act and see who you really are that you can tell that you are a Lady." He explained with a nod, "And like your friend said. You are still too young to know that. Wait until you are older."

Pouting Ama looked between the two. "I act like a Lady? I can't do anything until I'm older!" Rolling his eyes at his mistress Ferey looked at the male. He had decided he wasn't too bad. Where are you from....Lloyd?

Lloyd nodded at Ama. "Not only that but you have the air of a Lady around you." He said with a grin and wink. He looked down at Ferey with his head tilted. "Where I'm from? I'm from the South."

Giggling Ama pictured a bubble of Ladyness around her. It made her smile to think of it. You've traveled a long way sir. It's a shame you don't live in the East it would be wonderful to have some help with teaching Ama here what she needs to know to be a true Lady.

Lloyd watched Ama for a second before turning his attention back to the fox. "Indeed. It is a bit of a journey to get here. I'm afraid the East is out of the question though. I wouldn't want to upset the Leader there by barging in." He said.

Nodding his head Ferey understood. It is never good to upset the leaders of any place no matter how kind or loving you hear they are. Turning Ama looked confusedly at the fox. "But Mistress Helki would never be mean to any creature! She's a kind and loving goddess!" That's not to say she wouldn't be mean to someone who intrudes on her territory Ama.
