I don't know if I saw the most recent debate. But the first two presidential debates seemed to be almost repeats. So if it was like them then I'm not to concerned about missing them. But I don't know if I saw the last. What were they covering.

I didn't get to watch it, just read about how the debate went down, a person's name came up several times, or something like that, Joe the Plumber, or something, but yeah, that, and that Obama kept his cool, and Mc Cain tried to break him down. whee

I've heard about this "Joe the Plumber" too. It's just more spin. Frankly, I've got an absentee ballot. So my votes already been made. I just need to turn it in. So whatever either sides spins isn't gonna make a lick of difference.

Yeah, they all cost to much money, or their stupid. So I voted no on all of them except 11. But, otherwise, just no.

I haven't been able to read on all of them, but if you get back to this, tell me, what is prop 11 about, I agree with some and yes, you're right, too much money, got to act free and wild, but implement conservative actions. blaugh

11 changes the way that district lines are drawn. Originally people who were up for election were allowed to make their own lines so that it was easy for them to become re-elected. But now, it's not so easy to get elected because 11 passed which took the power out of the hands of elected officials and gave it to a 14 member bi partisan board who are elected to decide the district lines. I think it helps lower corruption.

Yeah, that's what I thought anyway, while I was voting. But I knew about the problem with the districts for a while. I think the way districts are made is called Gerrymandering. But, there's to be no more of that.

I heard about Gerrymandering in my Government class last year, though I shyly remember it, to an extent it was beneficiary, but as well manipulative, depending on what was being carried through. whee

I can hardly find any benifit of gerrymandering. At least, for the common folk. For politicians who would rather rest on their laurels I can see why it would be good. But for me, and many others, it serves no purpose. At least that I can see.

I rest my choice on your side Trist. Still, its sad to say that power corrupts those who have had a taste of it. whee

So, I guess their is no change that any leader will be able to promote health care to everybody, cause we are such a huge population, eer, and we are spread out. xd

What!??! No we can totally do it. And it wouldn't even cost all that much really. Like, seriously, it's no issue. It's just up to the government. But, since we are going in to an economic crisis, we may have to back of the socialized health care for now. But, there's definitely the possibility.
