Volvy ashlander_alpha A Protestant denomination of Christianity named after French theologian John Calvin. Mega was referring to its most famous and controversial tenet, that of predestination. In short, it basically says that God has already determined the ultimate fate of an individual at birth, in particular whether he/she will be awarded with salvation after death.
Total bollocks, if you ask me. Makes no sense to me, theologically. Well, if God is all-knowing, he'd know everything a person was going to do with their life before they were even born, so wouldn't he know all along whether they were going to get into heaven or not? God's Omniscience is different than Him deciding whether or not you are going to be saved. And Ash, that's not the only point of Calvinism, there are several main points that make up Calvinism, you just chose to include the most controversal.

MegaTherion777 lotusvoid you guys can also call me V if ya wantVoilĂ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V. 4laugh mrgreen heart and , aside from obvious and awesome parallels to the hero of Guy Fawks day, tis the beginning of my name, so most simply call me V 3nodding
