Meru came splashing over to Albert and the mer Soquili. "Wow, mer soquili really do exist~! Pleasure to meet you! I'm Meru!" she chirped, careful not to cause any more splashing. Would be rude to splash the newfound friend in the face. "What's it like under the water?" she asked curiously.

"ah ha!" Ash splashed Albert jokingly " I see why you are down here."
He looked over at the Mare as she came up to him... "it's .... ah.... wet?"

He smiles down at the other Soquili. I'm surprised to see you so close to shore. Don't you get that grin Ash. Meru has never seen the ocean, and I told her I could bring her here, and maybe even show her a mer soquili. But maybe I should have found a better example. Alberts eyes gleamed playfully, as he reared and came through the water to mock 'attack' Ash.

Meru almost keeled over in the shallows at the witty answer. "Okay---yeah I suppose so!" she smiled. She noticed the seal like Soquili smirking at Al and snorted again in giggles. He'd presumed Meru to be his girl? Huh---wouldn't be so bad really she though. And laughed to herself yet again.

Ash smiled at Al yet again "Suuuuure my friend... she's never seen the ocean... " She was a pretty little thing... he could see why Al liked her... If she wasn't a land dweller, Ash might feel the same....but those Ugly hind legs... just awful.

Albert rolled his eyes at the mer-soquili, and started rearing towards him, playfully striking at the mer. Oh hush you. Don't get that tone of voice with me fishgut. And you can ask her. She hasn't seen it before. He actually didn't mind the mistake, but he wasn't going to let Ash know that.

((SO sorry for the slow reply. Busy week @_@ I promise to be quicker from now on 3nodding ))
Sensing the absolute best position to cause a little mischief, Meru slyly replied "No, I've seen the sea before. Al here just doesn't wanna admit he's been prancing about the seaside with a girl here" wink Meru chuckled to herself. The mer could have guessed by her childishness she was trying to playfully frame him, but it was fun to be so silly anyhow.

Albert turned from his playful spar with Ash, and faced Meru, trying to hide his grin. Why you...! How could you say such a thing. And he started chasing after the land-mare soquili, water spraying around him as he ran just at the edge of the water-line.

"Ehehe oh nooo!" Meru laughed, speeding off. The stallion was much quicker though, and rather than being caught, she turned tail and sunk into the sea's shallows. Pinning back her ears and putting on her cheesiest grin---she giggled up at him as he neared. "Sowwies?!" mrgreen

You're going to be. As he neared her, he slowed down, and came near her close enough so he could knock her over into the ocean, never hitting her hard enough to hurt her, just to make her lose her balance. Of course he had to clear her to make sure he didn't step in her, so he jumped a bit over her to land deeper in the water.

Sure enough *splash* went the childish mare. All soaking wet and still giggling to herself. She liked someone who took well to her playful teasing. It was fun and enjoyable. She got up, shook herself off...and attempted spontaniously to do the same to Al---who was now a bit futher into the water than she was. Perfect spot. xd

Albert noticed his perdicament too late, and in a moment, he was as wet as Meru. Ooh! he exclaimed, and the turned playfully burning green eyes on the mare. You think you can douse me and get away with it? Come here! And he charged after her.

"And what if I don't?" Meru asked slyly, keeping a steady distance as well as she could. She wondered what he could possibly do to 'get back at her' for getting him wet. She stuck out her tongue at him and laughed.
