I finally got dissidia and it's pretty great. It has replaced Tekken as my favorite "fighting" game. And all I can say is wow. What I didn't know is that Kefka is a beast at a not high level. He destroyed me >=/
And my all time favorite villain is Kuja and I suck playing with him.... emo
And playing as sephy is just as satisfying as I imagined it would be. It's like, how you would probably control him during his fight with Sora from KH2. And owning cloud with the OWA bgm playing feels so right biggrin
And the villains are only unlocked by "buying them." I don't really like that concept that much. You'd guess the villain would be unlocked by beating that villian's rival's story. But nope, 500 PP a villain...
And also, I've only played the prologue, Tidus story, and Zidane's. It's very language heavy. Luckily I can understand a small portion of what's going on (very small; been studying Japanese for almost three years now)
and using summons still confuses me a bit..
But yes, I play best with Squall, Jecht, Sephy, and Warrior of Light
Butz is just annoying to fight (damn cyclone attack thing). He counters me like crazy...
Whenever you get it, I challenge you to play the game for less than three hours.
...I think I played it from maybe 5pm to 3am lol
and my thumb hurts...
P.S: Damn Kefka. I had to be fighting him for over an hour trying to beat him. He dodges like hell (by bouncing) and when he walks around the stage, he walks all happy and there's this bouncy spring sound with each step he took. How do I know? Well, just imagine me (playing as Tidus) one hit away from dying, hiding behind a big plateau thing, with Kefka on the other side of the big plateau, walking around it towards me....it was like a generic horror/suspense movie where the person hears footsteps getting louder. Except in my case, it was *boing.....boing......boing* neutral
