Jack as always caught all the cues, roaring along with the crowd as the voice urged them onward like a dancing army. He jumped up and down, hands in the air and throat growing hoarse from the shouting. And he loved it.
He even took the opportunity to blow a kiss back to the DJ. Not like anyone would notice in this crowd. Besides, it could be taken as merely being in the spirit of things. And Jack's reputation as a flirt was well known anyway. There was no harm in it. He grinned to himself as one of his fanclub got closer and managed to press herself up against the little redhead suggestively.
So he'd dance with her, give her a little thrill this evening. His emerald eyes would occasionally flash up to catch Raven's though. This little show was as much for him, after all. He took the opportunity of the grittier songs to even grind a little, a tease for the blond. Besides, all this dancing really did work up Jack's mood quite a lot.
Guyy, meanwhile, leaned against the bar. He wasn't much of a dancer. but he loved watching Kaori move. He sipped at his drink, red eyes flashing as they followed her graceful gestures on the dancefloor.
She was stunning. She was beautiful. And he loved her.
And he was seriously considering biting the fellow eyeing up her butt at that moment. But she'd probably shout at him for that. So he just watched her appreciatively.

Sweet Dreams
Raven was moving quick with the beats tonight, again something with a little more pop got the crowd hopping and the dancers in the corner, bouncin', spinning flippin' and snapping to the beat making the dance easy to drag others in to at least bobbing with them enjoying the beat.
And how could anyone ever leave out the classic
Sandstorm? That would just be a disgrace to any club.

Jack was loving the music Raven span tonight. He danced as if he'd never tired out. In a quieter moment he unlatched himself from the girl and danced his way over to the DJ booth with a grin. He leaned over the edge, dispensing with the formality of the request sheet and choosing to lift Raven's earphones away from one of his ears instead. A luxury only the club owner could get away with without getting thrown out of the club.
"Give me a little treat Raven." He purred. "I want to hear some Phat Bass. I'll make it worth your while." he giggled playfully, before slipping back down to the dancefloor. He paused to give the blond a grin before falling back into step with the dancers around him.

Infinity!
After playing Jack's selection with a grin Raven moved right into the next song with ease, half bouncing half bobbing to the wicked beat of this song.

So Jack made another request. This time just for laughs. That and he had a taste for teasing the man on the stage. If he thought for a minute he could have gotten away with it, he'd be dancing with Raven. But seeing as he couldn't, for one thing that would mean interrupting his set, he'd dance for him instead.
Naturally, the crowd thought he was playing up to them, not the DJ. And the casual glances over his shoulder at Raven? Well that was just part of the show. No one quite worked out the view the blonde got was a little more enticing than the view they got.
Rowr.

Flutter was surprised that they had dancers that performed here. One look at the dancer made her dismiss the enticing aspect of the act. He was clearly gay, so that meant that any time that Flutter spent pining for him was a complete waste of energy.
Her gay-dar was going off like crazy.
No doubt he was an unbelievably handsome man. Despite not being on the menu of possible appetizers for the dancer, she had eyes. Which meant that she watched, and fantasized about it being someone else up there putting on a dance for her.
Mmmmmm. Who would that be? Duh. Erich, who else.

Gay? By no means, though Jack's favourite point of interest was in fact very, very male. He could attest to that. The redhead winked at Raven in a quiet moment. The blond was exceptionally attractive, and Jack wouldn't actually go over and do anything with him in order to avoid upsetting the man's fans. But Jack himself merely did not care about gender.
Erich, sadly, did not seem to be here. Shame. Jack might have enjoyed dancing with him too. He did seem to like them on the large side, though he wouldn't have touched. He smiled and danced happily. And then reached out to grab Flutter's hand. She might not be buxom and model-shaped like the other girls here, but her remark about walking Hans on a leash had amused him. And she looked like she needed some fun.
"Come dance!" he giggled with delight.

There was fun, and then there was the object horror of being singled out in a crowd by a man that she didn't know. She briefly had an 'ah-ha' moment of recognizing the irony of the role reversal, she usually being the one to put someone else on the spot and expecting them to play along with her whims and fancies.
Now the shoe was on the other foot, and initially she resisted. She looked around the room to see if anyone was looking at her. She relaxed when she realized that almost all eyes were on Jack. So if she screwed up, or tripped, they would still be on him.
She allowed herself to be pulled into a position where she could dance with him. She let his hand go quickly though, the idea of not being free to move around like she wanted to, or being dragged around into a bunch of unfamiliar dance moves making her feel anxious.

Jack was oblivious to the potential embarrassment he was causing her. He just tugged her along for the ride. And she was fortunate it was him, in a way. He was cheeky, he was flirtatious, he was sluttish, but he was also downright pleasant. And if she tripped or stumbled, he'd be there to steady her. He wanted everyone to enjoy his club as much as he did.
He was happy to let her go once he managed to get her up on the floor. He didn't miss a beat as he dropped back into his shimmying, encouraging her to pick up the tempo too. A few of his fanclub glared at her, but could do nothing about it. Jack would dance with whoever he wanted to, and always did.
He'd let her dance however she wanted to as he wiggled and laughed. The joy on his face was evident and almost contagious. He just loved to dance. "I'm Jack!" he laughed over the sound of the music, introducing himself to her finally.

Pleasant. Yes, in the way that he wouldn't be forcing himself on her or try to plow her over with an aggressive dominance that really didn't take no for an answer. The people staring daggers at her back made her lose her concentration, she stared at one of them hard.
Her eyes flashed gold, then went back to her brown. She shook herself, and looked confused. She orientated herself once more. She was Flutter. She was at the club called The Den, and she was dancing with Jack.
"Flutter." she said, holding her hand out to shake his. She hesitated, but she thought that was the right thing to do when meeting someone new.

Jack missed the glare and change of eye colour. But he did somehow manage to extend his own hand and shake hers without missing a single beat. The man clearly knew how to throw a few moves. But he would not be forcing himself on her, except perhaps a little socially. And it was worth noting, he was a bit of a toucher. Fortunately, not in a bad way.
"Nice to meet you Flutter! I haven't seen you here before." he smiled as he released her hand. He was sure he might have remembered her. She wasn't much like the regular crowd. She was more like the sort of crowd Guyy hung around with.
Speaking of the snake, there he was! Jack waved.
Guyy waved back and went back to his drink, leaning on the bar and watching Kaori.

"I was here once before on a blind date."
Once. A man who spent most of his time in this club probably wouldn't remember a face or a person like Flutter. She did stick out like a sore thumb in that she wasn't here with a whole crowd of people, and she didn't take an unhealthy liking to the bouncers because of their lack of a neck, or because of their bulging muscles.
Which would logically mean that there was something wrong with her. She had often thought that when she looked around the room to see what other people were doing, and how they were acting. Flutter took the word 'reserved' and 'cold' to another level.
She could be friendly, but her natural tendency was to be withdrawn, quiet, and distanced from others. Why? If she wasn't close to anyone, then they wouldn't be in a position where she would have any expectations of them. She thought that was a healthy relationship to have. That way if they left, or moved onto something or someone else.
Speaking of which, she recognized both Kay and Guy when Jack pointed that way.
Flutter was happy that Guy ended up with Kay, but she hadn't spent any time with him since he'd left the island. She'd been hurt in that vicious love triangle that was set up between Lent, Kay and Guy. Being the 'friend', and of no romantic interest at all, she'd been expended in favor of his trying to placate the ever attention starved Lent.

"A blind date huh? Did it go well?" He asked cheerfully. He knew a lot of couples had been made in his club. And just as many had probably been broken. Such was life, love and alcohol. He didn't mind the way she stuck out anyway. He liked a little variety. It added spice to the mix.
This was one club where no one got turned away for wearing the wrong thing or looking the wrong way. Jack had the opinion that truly unattractive people were few and far between, and it came from the inside. So he would never turn away a customer for not being 'pretty' enough.
All the same, the club seemed to be full of beautiful people. Maybe the atmosphere just gave them all the confidence to shine. He suspected all his dancing partner needed was some of that confidence and before she knew it she'd be one of the prettiest girls on the dancefloor. She did seem somewhat reserved, as far as he could tell.
Time to get her to loosen up a little, if he could.
He reached forward and pulled her a little more into an open space, giving her more room to dance. And he laughed brightly as he encouraged her, leading by example rather than by physically leading her. Though who knew what would happen later in the night? He had a reputation for being a touchy sort. "I take it your date didn't bring you back tonight though? More fool him!" he grinned to her. "Now I get to dance with you."

Getting a recluse like Flutter to open up was good business for Jack, and from the looks of his adoring fans, it served to stir up the competitive claw fight between the many women that vied for his attention.
Flutter was flattered, but she was used to a more sedate type setting where she wasn't the center of attention. She was present, off to one side, in her own space, and mostly to herself.
"Yeah, it just ended. We were a lot alike, but it turned out that our schedules didn't match, so we never had any time for each other. Better to end it before it began, I think." she confided.
Was she sounding like she wanted pity? How come whenever she actually said what it was that she was thinking, it ended up sounding like she wanted people to feel sorry for her. She had described what had happened, but in her own ears it sounded like a plea for pity.
Maybe she shouldn't talk.
She blushed, and nodded. She continued to dance with him, sighing before realizing that he was probably a nice guy. Probably. Definitely not into her, but he was trying to cheer her up and get her moving.
Good intentions.
"I'm thirsty. I think I'm going to get a drink." she announced, ending up having to yell it out to be heard over the music.

Good business and just plain old good sense too. He loved to see people enjoying themselves. And he really loved seeing the quiet ones break out of their shells and realise just how much fun they could have if they let go of their problems just for a little while.
Of course he just assumed everyone wanted to be the centre of attention really. Not that he was right with that assumption. It didn't stop him trying though. He ignored the jealous looks from his fanclub as he danced with the little wallflower. He didn't really pity her, though his did pout his lower lip a little.
"That's a shame. It's much better when people match up in all ways." his eyes flickered over to the blond DJ for a heartbeat, lips pulled into a smile. Maybe his own relationship didn't lack its problems, but he still felt lucky to have the chance to know Rave.
"A drink? That's a brilliant idea! I'll come with you, you can get it on the house that way." he laughed, catching her arm and practically pulling her towards the bar. He'd provide anything she wanted. Provided it was alcoholic. There was more than one way to loosen up a shy girl after all.
