She rifled around a bit more and found a smaller, tirara. "Here you go, Prince." She placed it on his head and smiled, "This is a real fun game!"

Criofan had to agree. Not only did he get shiny objects and little, possibly real gold pieces that could seriously be worth a lot, he also didn't have to worry about entertaining Zuri. After all, the leprechaun wasn't too interested in the things his naiad child brother was.
"Yay!" Zuri placed the tiara on his head before picking up a mirror and admiring himself. "Wow. Queen Mei Lien, I look really pretty with this on! But not as pretty as you, nope nope. You're beautiful!" Though the little naiad liked to give compliments to everyone he met, he did mean what he said.

Mei Lien blushed at the child's compliment. "Why thank you! You look handsome yourself." She found a reagl looking chair and took a seat. A smaller one sat next to it, "Here be our thrones, Prince Zuri. We can sit and watch the Jester great from here."

Zuri boosted himself into the chair beside the pretty Queen Mei Lien. He offered a grin to the regal queen beside him before turning towards the jester, who was all too concerned with his new found shiny stuff. Seeing this, the child naiad snapped his fingers and tried to whistle, though all he did was push his fingers together and blow air out his lips.
Criofan chuckled. "That's not how you whistle or how you snap your fingers. Watch." He pressed his middle finger and thumb together before suddenly pushing his thumb out to the side, creating the snap sound that was so familiar. Prince Zuri nodded, fascinated, and then set to trying it again.
In the meantime, Criofan broke character and offered a thankful smile to Mei Lien. "Might not mean much coming from someone like me, but thanks. Would've never been able to figure out what to do with the little guy." He gestured to Zuri as the little naiad kept trying to snap his fingers. A thankful Criofan O'Kane wasn't exactly a common sight.

Mei Lien giggled as Zuri tried to snap, "You'll get it. I still can't whistle." She tried and only air came through her lips.
"Oh, sure!" Mei Lien smiled at Criofan, "This is the most fun I've had in quite a long time." She really meant that as well. She had traveled the isle alone and had forgot how nice company was.

"Well, good. Glad to hear you weren't bored by us." And he was to some extent. She might-as-well get some good out of the situation for being so helpful to the failing leprechaun.
Suddenly, the snap sound came from Zuri's attempts, and the little naiad squealed in delight. Unfortunately, when he tried again, it failed, and no sound came from his fingers. The skirted child pouted and then went back to trying again. "Queen Mei Lien can't whistle," he encouraged himself, "so not being able to snap fingers isn't bad."
The leprechaun jester trotted over and ruffled Zuri's hair. "You'll get it!" He flicked a bell on a jester's hat he had plucked off of his pile of stuff. "And then the jester bells will ring!" Perhaps the way to entertain Zuri Seabrook was to act ridiculous. It seemed to be working, after all.

"Oh, no where near bored!" She said with a giggle. She then smiled at Zuri, "You'll get it, it just takes practice, you know?" She showed him, by doing it herself, "See. You just need to keep trying."

Mei Lien could snap her fingers, and so could Criofan! Therefore, Zuri needed to get it again. He watched Mei Lien snap her own fingers before trying it again himself. Unfortunately, it seemed the one time he did get the snap sound was a fluke. The little naiad couldn't do it again and was getting a little frustrated. Of course, a frustrated Zuri was nowhere near as bad as Magnus or Criofan, his elder brothers...
Criofan shook his head at Zuri, before trying to find a clock. Zuri had a bed time, after all, and while he didn't particularly care when the little one actually fell to sleep, he didn't want to get yelled at by an elder sibling for keeping Zuri out too long and making him overly tired.

Mei Lien giggled, "You'll get it Zuri, I know it!" She figured encouragment may help him out. She watched Criofan and wondered what he was looking for.

Zuri was broken out of his intense concentration when he realized Criofan was busy looking for something. With knit brows, the confused naiad called, "What're you looking for?". The skirted naiad didn't get a verbal answer, but instead a gasp and a groan.
"Aysu will be mad at me if Ah get ya' home too late. It's already near when ya' eat dinner and she said she wanted ya' home for dinner." Criofan smacked himself in the head. "Ah guess my luck lead me ta' look in time. Sorry, Mei Lien." The leprechaun actually looked a little apologetic? Someone needed to find some way to keep that face forever remembered...

"Oh, you are right it is getting late." Mei lien agreed. "It's no problem, I'm just glad I got to hang out with you for a while. It was rather fun." She stood up to say goodbye and hoped she would see them again.

He--err, Zuri, mostly--enjoyed having Mei Lien around, so maybe he should find a way to get in contact. She certainly knew how to handle him better than Criofan did... "Zuri really likes ya', so Ah hope Ah see ya' again. Whereabouts do ya' live? Maybe one day we'll happen to be passing through the area." Criofan offered Mei Lien an odd, hopeful grin.
Zuri looked at Criofan and grinned widely. "Yeah, Criofan! I totally wanna' see Mei Lien again!" He turned to Mei Lien and nodded rapidly. "We live kinda' close to the beach because I'm a naiad and one of my sisters is also a naiad so even though we have a pool, we should stay close to the lake water too. Do you live near the beach? Criofan's right, he can take me out another day and we can find you because you're fun!" Zuri was endearing, but sometimes he just kept talking and talking and talking...

"I hope I see you both again, as well." She smiled a sad smile, as she hated parting ways. "I do't live anywhere at the moment...I may go visit my parents they live by the creek."

"Wait," Criofan knit his brows, "you really don't live anywhere?" He couldn't imagine not having a place to store his stuff. His home was where he put his piles and piles of shinies and other stolen goods. Without his home, he would have to find some other place to put them and risk them being taken.
Zuri frowned. "That's not good! Maybe your parents would be willing to take you back in? I mean, that's what parents are for, right? They're really nice to you 'cause they love you." The little boy had an expression of sorrow and panic on his face. "Perhaps we can help you somehow?"

"Oh, I'm sure they would let me back. I have just been on a journey of the Isle. So, I have been camping and just living where I land." She did't want them to be sad or anything. "It's pretty freeing to just go...you know?"
