Entry: 043 Subject: Vulture-droid Starfighter Status: Canon Capsule: The Trade Federation's answer to using droids in space, Vulture droids are small, deadly spacecraft dedicated to overwhelming enemy forces by tenaciousness, numbers, and powers. The ship itself was designed and built by Haor Chall Engineering sometime prior to the Battle of Naboo. It boasts an atmospheric speed of 1,200 km/h, and a maximum acceleration of 3,900 G. Like other droids, it has little armor and no shields. It's only consumables are 35 minutes worth of fuel. Because of the lack of fuel, the Vulture is forced to compensate by providing raw power, at which it excels. Despite being only 3m long, the ship is armed with 4 blaster cannons, and two torpedo tubes, armed either with energy torpedos, or buzz droid missles. Like the rest of the CIS forces, most of the ships were deactivated at the end of the Clone Wars. -- Fanon Info Starts Here -- You're looking at Lord Norfair's answer to using droid starfighters. There's no real difference.

Entry: 044 Subject: Belbullab-22 Starfighter Status: Canon Capsule: A heavier starfighter than the Tri-Fighters and Vulture Droids used by the CIS, the Bel was much sturdier and more powerful than its younger breathren. It was also the choice of ship for the infamous General Grievous. In space, this baby could hit it up to 75 MGLT, but it was also twice the size of a Vulture Droid. Also, unlike the Vulture Droid, it required a pilot to operate, usually a modified B1 Battle Droid. Armament included a pair of Triple-laser cannons mounted on the nose, and the ship ran on a pair of ion drives. Also, unlike the vulture droid, it could carry a bomb payload, as well as having shields. However, because it wasn't a droid, the Belbullab-22 continued to see action following the Clone Wars. -- Fanon Info Starts Here -- Lord Norfair uses these as bombers.

Entry: 045 Subject: Providence-class Destroyer Status: Canon Capsule: One of the largest warships used by the CIS, the Providence-class is a sturdy, kilometer-long vessel specializing in troop and starfighter transport, along with being a formidable warship on its own. Armament included: - 2 Heavy Ion Cannons in the bow - 14 Quad Turbolaser Cannons - 34 Duel Laser Cannons - 12 Point-Degense Ion Cannons - 102 Proton Torpedo Tubes - 8 Tractor Beings The ship, as noted, also served as a massive troop transport. Though it required a minimum crew of 600, it also carried: - 120 Vulture Droids - 120 Tri-fighters - 160 Troop Transports - 280 Armored Vehicles (AAT, Spider Droids, etc.) - 1.5 million Battle Droids They also had consumables enough for 4 years, and could carry up to 50,000 tons of cargo. -- Fanon Info -- These serve as the destroyers in Norfair's navy.

Entry: 046 Subject: Munificent-class Frigate Status: Canon Capsule:Munificent-class FrigateConsiderably smaller than the Providence-class, the Munificent is no less of a threat. Originally developed by Hoersch-Kessel Drive, the ship was originally a policing vessel meant to secure the financial business of the Intergalactic Banking Clan. When they joined the CIS, however, many thousands of their ships were converted into warships. The ship itself can only be crewed with 200 personel, and can carry an additional 150,000 troops. Armament includes: - 38 Point-Defense Laser Canons - 2 Long Range Heavy Ion Cannons - 2 Heavy Turbolasers - 26 Twin Turbolasers - 20 Light Turbolasers The ship also includes room to carry 40,000 tons of cargo and 2 years of consumables. The vessel, being a frigate, is only 825 meters long. -- Fanon Info -- Norfair's answer to frigates.

Entry: 047 Subject: The Potentium, Unified Force and Other Gray Jedi Theories. Status: Canon Capsule: from Wookiepedia "The Potentium view of the Force, considered heresy by Old Republic Jedi, held that the Force and the galaxy in general were given a master plan which was inherently good, and that there was no dark or light side to the Force. Also, Luke Skywalker stated in his days as Master that "the Force doesn't flow from us, but through us", which strongly suggests that it is the Force that creates life and not the other way around. Never passing beyond the Padawan level and refusing to become a Jedi Knight, Jolee Bindo saw "everything gray" and left the Order, allowing emotion to guide his actions. Leor Hal and his followers were expelled by the Jedi for their belief in the Potentium in 132 BBY. This view gained greater acceptance under the New Republic, mostly due to the influence of Vergere, a surviving Jedi from the days of the Old Republic." Gray seems to be a very broad standard for a great deal of different philosophies and theories. Generally when one refers to a Force user as a Gray Jedi generally they are referring to a Force user that adheres to the Potentium or Unified theories rather than the orthodox, polar philosophies of the Jedi and the Sith. Which is truly a term that wildly under describes the very specific differences between different theories. Many philosophies exist within this base theory that explains the evidence of the apparent dark and light sides, but argues that these polar sides are in fact illusions created from various other origins and are not innate 'polar sides' to the force itself. Ussualy these origins are theorized to be from within the force user. Whether it be through an addiction to passion, a philosophical attachment to 'innate' morals etc. Potentium philosophy: from wookiepedia: "Counter to millennia of Jedi teachings, the followers of Potentium claimed that there was no inherent evil in viewing the Force. They claimed that what others called the light side was actually just the Force itself, which is inherently good. This was backed up by the fact that Ashla, the ancient name of the Force, came later to describe the light side. What others therefore called the dark side was a perversion of the Force, twisted by those who used it. Believers of Potentium said that the potential for light and dark sides resided in the user, not the Force itself. They also thought that the Jedi Masters refused to believe in the Potentium view because it would mean the Jedi weren't needed to fight evil, for evil would not exist. And since there was no dark side, there were no dark side actions or Force techniques; in effect any action, good or evil, could be performed without risk as long as the intent wasn't evil." Another such Potentium theory stated that the polarity was nothing more than an illusionary manifestation within the force caused by the force user themselves. that the darkside did not exist within the force but within the force user whom perverted the ultimate good of the force to cause bad things to happen. Another Potentium theory such as that of Jedi Master Phanius, who looked to consequence and morality as relative. Basically that what one individual might consider as evil was in fact good to another and visa versa. Therefore nothing could truly be absolutely evil, and nothing could be absolutely good. This leads one to consider the possibility that all actions are neither good nor bad, and thus it is not bad to commit them. Another concept adopted by Phanius was known as solipsism; Basically the belief that no single thing can be absolutely certain to exist, this applies both to moral standards but also physical existence. It is not absolutely certain to me that you (the reader) truly exists, it is not absolutely certain that I exist to you. There is not even absolute proof to show that anything exists entirely, even ourselves. All of what we experience as sentient beings to be reality is quite possibly an elaborate illusion (similar to the matrix). This of course leads one to believe that perhaps there is no consequence to committing 'crimes' upon another person because that other person might not even exist. Thus there is no real consequence to committing the crime. Unifying Philosophy: Unifiying theory might also be justified simply as a force user that walks a line, that avoids the restrictions of dogmatic Orthodox but also understands and values morality, thus rejecting the philosophies of the Dark side but still capable of taking advantage of using 'Dark side techniques'. Thus also paying attention more to the force as a universal whole rather than two halves of a whole in conflict. Unified theory tends to press the notion that destiny is determined by the Force itself, and that free will is simply an illusion that maintains sentience and consciousness. This might explain how individuals might have the power to see into the future using the force. Also this might explain the fulfillment of certain prophecies such as the birth of the chosen one, or the returning of the 'Sithari' (If you consider Anakin to be the 'Sithari') Many 'Gray Jedi' fell out of these philosophies, whether they still considered themselves neither dark nor light they in fact became one or the other; revealing how entirely difficult it would be to maintain a lifestyle living in true neutrality.

Entry: 048 Subject: The Living Force, and the Greater and Lesser Force. Status: Canon Capsule:
The Living force: from wikipedia:
"The Living Force was thought to be present in most living beings. The Jedi had the ability to sense the Living Force inside of life forms. The connection to the Living Force apparently also allowed Jedi Masters to retain their identity when they became one with the Force. Proponents of the Living Force view, such as Qui-Gon Jinn, espoused a philosophy of "living in the moment," relied heavily on their instincts and concentrated more on sensitivity to living things, rather than fulfilling destiny, which was one of the main tenets of the Unifying Force philosophy."
The living force in effect was not entirely philosophy of its own but more a direction in which to view the correlation between life and the force. Which until the Vong invasion was nearly absolute. the living Force helped explain the existence of Mediclorians and how exactly such organisms were capable of generating the connection between the force user's conscious and the force
The Greater and Lesser Force: from wookiepedia:
"The Force existed in the universe by assuming two aspects: The Greater "Cosmic" Force, which was an expression of the Ultimate Will, and the Lesser "Living" Force; an intrinsically distinct emanation from the Greater Force, which constituted the individual wills of creatures.
The Greater and the Lesser Force were inherently linked, and were capable of interacting with and affecting one another. Their interaction left a "footprint" trace in the form of mysterious living particles in the blood known as midi-chlorians. These midi-chlorian traces also served to facilitate and enhance further communication between the Greater and Lesser Force.
In ancient times, many people believed that midi-chlorians were not distinct entities, but rays of the Greater Force itself. This view was held by many Jedi. It was thought that there were an infinite number of Living Forces, each with a unique and intrinsic identity, emotional temper, cognitive bent, and will. Each individual Living Force could interface with or influence any other individual Living Force, whether sentient or not, through a "bridge" established in the Cosmic Force. This meant that a Jedi could understand and influence the people and objects around him or her in ways that often appeared to be mystical."
"The Lesser Force was divided into two aspects: positive and negative, widely known as "the light side of the Force" and "the dark side of the Force."
This theory links or combines the possibility that a force user is in fact a pawn to the will of the force and that the force user still has its own will capable of manipulating the force.
Basically the Force on a whole has a broad plan or destiny planned for all things, as if it were sentient in itself and capable of creating and planning purpose and destiny. This being the Greater force.
however one might say "But Ants, we use the force, the force doesn't use us, we have our own free will." Oh on the contrary, it is entirely possible that the Force has its lesser individual connection with which it allows the individual to connect to the universal power of the entire force. But still it is, controlled in a sense, by the greater in small hardly noticeable ways.
The Greater force might influence decisions and ultimately the will of the individual so they in time meet their own destiny to satisfaction. All this while being unnoticed by the individual itself.
The Greater force would be the transcendent universal essence all at once while the lesser force was basically the living force within each living being. The Lesser force was then the connection between the conscious will of the individual and the Greater force itself

Entry: 049 Subject: The Insidious Force Status: Canon Capsule: from wookiepedia:
"Darth Traya, a female Sith during the Old Sith Wars, believed the Force to be akin to some sort of deceptively sinister, indifferent god. She pointed to the numerous wars fought by countless Force users, as proof that the Force cared nothing for the lives it consumed, so long as balance was achieved. This philosophy emphasizes the belief that neither the light nor dark side is truly superior to the other, and that if people were to be truly free, the Force must be eliminated from the galaxy. This was generally a very unpopular theory with both the Sith and the Jedi, and its practice likely disappeared entirely with Traya's death."
This theory also assumes that the force was neither innately light nor dark, but a single universal Force (sentient or not), unbiased and indifferent to any action carried out by it's use. As a force user you could with every ounce of your being choose to use the force to kill off an entire planet of innocent people. If you had a connection powerful enough, the force would allow you the means to commit such a heinous act, just the easily as if you called upon it to save the lives of an entire planet.
Obviously, if one believes that the force is not in conflict with itself between the light and the dark, then it is easy to see it as a universal entity that allows the ageless conflict between the sith and the jedi to continue to wreak havoc across the galaxy without prejudice. Thus the Force shows us that it is indifferent and 'insidious' as it dose not care for the suffering of the living, nor the destruction it brings upon them.
This insidious force is, in its indifference, ultimately destructive and evil, thus it must be destroyed before all life in the galaxy is destroyed.
As Kraia had witnessed, it is possible to wound the force, and it is also possible for life to continue without the force. The Jedi Exile is a prime example of this. thus it is possible to kill the force, and keep the majority of life within the galaxy alive.

Entry: 050 Subject: Executor-class Star Dreadnaught Status: Canon Capsule: In 1 BBY, with the advent of the Death Star, the Imperial Navy felt threatened by growing central power in the government. To compensate for this, the Navy decided to make an enourmous version of the by-now aging Imperial-line. What they would wrought would be some of the most massive ships ever created: the Executor-class. When the Death Star failed to destroy the rebels as promised, it was up to the Navy to finish the job. The first two ships of the line were the Executor and Lusaynka, the latter of which eventually became a prison beneath Coruscant. By the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY, there were four ships in operation, and before the war's end, at least nine vessels were in service. They include: Executor Lusankya Guardian Terror Annihilator Reaper Vengeance Brawl IntimidatorStatistically, the Executor-class was the largest ships ever built at the time, until the designs for the Soveriegn were released, and the construction being finished on both Eclipse I and II. As such, they were approximately 19km long, making them at least five times larger than any other ship in the navy, and almost 100x larger than the Imperial-class. Each Executor was driven by thirteen massive engines, capable of propelling her to a staggering 40 MGLT, making her by far the fastest Dreadnaught until the advent of the Sycthe-class. Her hyperdrive, however, was only a Class 2, making her one of the slowest capital ships in the entire navy when in lightspeed. Armament for one of these ships was staggering: 2000 Turbolasers, 2000 Heavy Turbolasers, 250 concussion missile tubes, 250 Heavy ion cannons, 40 tractor beams, and 500 point-defense lasers. The ship was also a capable carrier as well, ferrying 2 full wings of TIE-series, 30 AT-ATs, 40 AT-STs, 200 support ships, and an entire 38,000-man legion of storm troopers. Crew was approximately 280,734. And don't forget her shields. At full power, she gave off as much energy as a medium-sized star. Once, three rogue Imperial Star Destroyers went into hyperspace, and crashed into her. Even travelling the speed of light, they were no much for the shields. Sadly, by the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War in 40 ABY, all members of the line save for Guardian were destroyed in combat. They have since been replaced by the Pellaeon-class and Advanced-class.

Entry: 051 Subject: Cin Drallig Status: Canon Capsule: In the waning days of the Old Republic, Cin Drallig was the Jedi Weaponmaster. Considered the most powerful lightsaberist of his day, Cin Drallig was a master in the first six forms of lightsaber combat. Not much is known about his early days, but it is known that he was instructed by Yoda, earning the rank of Knight, and eventually Master after his training of Serra Keeto. Drallig earned the rank of Weaponmaster in 32 BBY, the year the previos master Anoon Bondara was assasinated by Darth Maul. As an unparalleled master of lightsaber combat, Drallig was known as "The Troll", for his tenaciously rigorous training and perfection. While not THE master in any one form, Drallig had skill enough to compete on even levels with anyone, ranging from Obi-Wan Kenobi to Mace Windu, to Darth Vader. Thus, inherantly, Cin Drallig was known as the master of Form VI combat. Cin Drallig ever stayed at the Jedi Temple, despite never serving on the High Council. During Order 66, he and Shaak Ti were charged with the defense of the Temple. Drallig rallied the older padawans against the clone intruders, giving time for Shaak Ti to help some of the younger ones sneak away or hide. Drallig met his end when Anakin Skywalker, now Darth Vader, personally sought him out, his first test as Dark Lord. Vader briefly dueled Serra Keeto and two other padawans, killing them before facing off against Drallig personally. Their battle raged throughout the Temple, including the Room of a Thousand Fountains, and eventually an outer courtyard. Cin Drallig performed to his fullest ability, including the use of the rare Destruction Orb. Despite this, Drallig fell to Anakin's blade, after receiving a slice in his shoulder, then being beheaded. His Legacy lived on in the form of Obi-Wan Kenobi, one of his former pupils, who later passed on his knowledge to Luke Skywalker, and by extension, the New Jedi Order.

Entry: 052 Subject: Oronar Sector Fleet Status: Fanon Capsule:
The Oronar spent many years consolidating their power, before the Battle of Kalist VI. When they were finally ready to strike, they had only one fleet of ragtag ships at their disposal.
After their successful coup, however, the Oronar were able to purchase and commandeer more advanced vessels, many of which belonged in both the Imperial and Alliance fleets. These include:
1 Pelleaon-class Star Dreadnaught 1 Beldon-class Star Battlecruisers 2 Vengeance II-class Star Cruisers 45 Nemesis-class Star Destroyers 60 Stalwarth-class Star Destroyers 90 Republic-class Star Destroyers 200 Wombat-II class Star Frigates 280 Gladius-class Star Frigates
-The Pelleaon-class Star Dreadnaught is the flagship of every fleet, bigger and more powerful than any other one vessel. It has the command role, and is largerly, merely a much larger version of the smaller Stalwarth-class Star Destroyer.
- Beldon Cruisers are slightly smaller than Pellaeons, and focus on ship-to-ship combat, at which they excell at. Nearly 7km long, a Beldons can take on any ship that doesn't have the proper support. A Vengeance II and Beldon are evenly matched, based on abilities.
- Vengeance II-class Cruisers are Carrier vessels, capable of carrying three wings of craft: 2 wings of Predator fighters (72 per wing), and 1 wing of Epsilon Bombers (40 per wing). They are capable in their own right, but their real strength, of course is their capacity to carry numerous fighter craft. It would take 4-5 Nemesis' to beat down a single Vengeance II.
- Nemesis-class Destroyers are ship-to-ship combat vessels, much like the Beldons, but considerably stronger. They specialize in missle combat, and have incredibly durable armor for their size, at the downside of virtually no hangar.
- Stalwarth-class Destroyers are the modern day ISD, versatile enough for just about anything. A single Stalwarth is more than enough to conquer a poorly defended system. A Stalwarth and a Nemesis are about evenly matched, based on their abilities.
- Republic-class Destroyers are by now venerable members of any fleet, originating in 15 ABY following the Black Fleet Crisis. While a few hundred meters shorter than the old Imperial-class Star Destroyers, the Republic-class is considerably faster and more powerful. In this day and age, they are, however, considerably weaker than either the Nemesis or Stalwart models, making them cheaper and easily deployed options when the larger ships aren't needed.
- Wombat IIs are similar to Stalwarths, but much smaller and weaker. Wombats are generally used to guard systems, once a Stalwarth or larger vessel has conquered it. It would take two or three Wombats to take out a Stalwarth.
- Gladius frigates are the smallest line-ships of the fleet, usually reserved to support roles, or traffic control. It would take two or three Gladius' to take out a Wombat.
For more detailed information on each ship, visit their various entries.

Entry: 053 Subject: RZ-1 A-Wing Interceptor Status: Canon Capsule: Derrived from the R-22 Spearhead, the A-Wing was the Rebel Alliance answer to the TIE Interceptor. Whereas the X-Wing was a versatile fighter that performed moderately well in all aspects, the A-Wing was a dedicated raider and anti-starfighter platform. While it was armed with the best targeting systems and computer the Alliance could slap on her, and her laser canons and twin missle tubes were formidable, the shining point here was the J-77 Event Horizon Engines. These babies could crank an A-Wing to faster speeds quicker then any other rebellion craft. However, speed and firepower came at a cost: the A-Wing was twice as expensive to produce as the X-Wing, and nearly twice as weak. Defended with minimal shielding and armor, a single well-placed turbolaser could destroy her. The Rebellion never had too many of these. By the Battle of Endor, only a single squadron was in use by the main fleet. In all, there might have been twenty or so of these in the entire Rebellion. Truly, it was a craft for the elite.

Entry: 054 Subject: BLT Y-Wing Status: Canon Capsule: Often called the Workhorse of the Rebellion, the Y-Wing fills the role of bomber in the Alliance fleet. The ship itself first came out pre-Clone Wars, but was never picked up by the Empire due to too main factors: its prodigiously heavy armor, and its slow speed. While the Empire had invested heavily in the cheap, mass-produced TIE Series of Sienar, Koeysher's Y-Wing was too expensive and costly for the Empire's hordes. Thus, the Y-Wing became one of the first models picked up by the Rebellion. As noted, the Y-Wing is heavily armored, as well as well-shielded. This allows it to take considerably more punishment then other Rebellion starfighters. Being this well defended, however, also makes it slow. A sleepy hutt could fly circles around a Y-Wing. Like all Rebellion craft, it did have a Y-Wing, as well as advanced targeting systems. Because of it's heavy armor, the Y-Wing made the perfect choice for the bomber-role. Thus, a single Y-Wing is armed with: 1 Ion Cannon 1 Heavy Laser Cannon 1 Light Laser Cannon 4 Missle Tubes, with 4 Missles Each Payload of Proton Bombs The Y-Wing saw less and less action as the Galactic Civil War drew on, eventually being replaced by the newer B-Wing and E-Wing.

Entry: 055 Subject: Slayin & Korpil B-Wing Assault Fighter Status: Canon Capsule: The B-Wing is the heaviest fighter the Rebellion has, when it comes to armament. Designed as a middle-of-the road approach between the Y-Wing and A-Wing, the B-Wing is a hardy mixture of firepower and maneurvability. Designed by the Verpines of Slayin & Korpil, the B-Wing features a unique gyroscopic design. The rest of the ship rotates around the cockpit to perform turns, allowing the pilot to stay stationary. Like the X-Wing, the B-Wing has a pair os S-foils that allow it to enter attack position, and increase it's firing arc. While about as fast as the X-Wing, it is more heavily armed. Standard armament is a heavy laser cannon, ion cannon, two light laser cannons, twin auto blasters, and a proton torpedo tube. The downside to the B-Wing is also it's asset. The B-Wing is the most expensive fighter the Rebellion has; only a single squadron was in existance by the Battle of Endor. Though it was personally designed by Admiral Ackbar, it's gyro-system made piloting it difficult at best. Hyperdrive was Class 2, making it slower then the X-Wing or A-Wing in that respect.

Entry: 056 Subject: Incom Z-95 Headhunter Status: Canon Capsule: Produced in conjunction with the Subpro Corporation, Incom fully bought out the property rights to the Headhunter nearly 30 years before the Battle of Yavin. She's also the direct ancestor of the T-65 X-Wing. There are only really two differences in the Z-95 and its descendant. First, was the lack of S-foils. Though they could be added as an aftermarket upgrade, off-the-line Z-95s featured only the two wings and a laser cannon at each end. Also, the Z-95 lacked an astromech socket. Because of this, she was a considerably cheaper and more flimsy ship. Probably because of this, the Empire dropped her in favor of using the later Clone Wars -era ships, followed by the TIE Series. Thus, the Z-95 was relegated to duty in various private defense forces... as well as the Rebel Alliance. The Alliance officially stopped using the Z-95 after the defection of Fresia and obtaining of the T-65. By the Battle of Yavin, they weren't even being used any more.

Entry: 057 Subject: Escort Carrier Status: Canon Capsule: Originally an Imperial design, the Galactic Empire developped this ship as an answer to the Rebel Alliance's use of starfighters in hit-and-fade tactics. The ship is just that; an Escort Carrier. All the ship was, was a 500-meter long docking bay with engines, a bridge, and supplies. Each ship could carry a single wing of Imperial fighters. Aside from that, the ship had a light armament: 10 point-defense lasers and 1 warhead launcher. Otherwise, the ship was an effective cargo transport, carrying up to 5,000 tonage of supplies, as well as a full crew of around 4,000. It could, however run on a crew of 1,500, and when used to ferry troops, it carried 800 soldiers and pilots, with 20 gunners for the carrier itself. The ship was also eventually acquired by the Rebellion, who used it as mobile bases, whenever larger ships were unavailable.
