"Wow you're way older than me." Care said surprised. "soooooo, where in Terathayn do you hail from?" He asked, leaning back in his chair happily.

Shanti blinked, two years wasn't really that much was it? "Forests close to the labyrinth." She pulled her tail close to her and began wrapping and unwrapping it around her wrist. "You?"

((I'll try to post as often as I can. I start my second year of college tomorrow, so I'll be pretty busy. Oh and it is a rumor Bloody.))
Kohaku walked in, looking around at everyone.
"Hmm...What a crowd."
She decided to sit around two people that were talking, she then smiled at them.
Yuki walks in as well, looking around, with slight shyness.
"Where do I sit?"
He sat near Kohaku, smiling at her.
"Hi, how are ya?"
"Fine and yourself?"
"Pretty good, nervous about the new school and all."

Shanti turned her attention momentarily to another boy and girl who sat down next to her and Care. Still waiting for Care to answer her question she returned the girl's smile then stretched her wings a little.

((Yes, but not for much longer. Sorry. But if anyone doesn't mind keeping me updated, that'd be awesome. ^^))
Kohaku stretched out her wings and had her tail wrapped around her waist. She then stretched out her arms and upper body, and yawned out of boredom.
Yuki smiled at the girl and asked how she was doing. His wings went a little towards him, and his tail wagged a bit, but then he hid it, showing that he was shy.

"um..." Care started, unsure exactly what to say. "well, Angies Forest." He said, expecting to be chastised a bit. The inhabitants of the Angies Forest were well known for hating Winged Katras.
He looked over at the two new arrivals, envying them for they're friendship.

Kohaku looks over at Care and smiles at him. Her tail stood around her waist, and her ears perked up.
Yuki does the same, hoping to make a new friend. His ears perked up as well, but his wings and tail still stood close to him.

Care hid his wings and tail under the table to hide his caliconess. But he Smiles at them both shyly.

Shanti frowned then looked at Care's wings again. "Don't understand..." She chewed on her lower lip and thought. How could he have lived there if he would have been hated?
She wasn't ignoring the other two on purpose, she was just really confused now that Care had told her where he lived.

Care sat for some time saying nothing... realizing that everyone at the table who had heard him was thinking about him... "It... I mean..." He started trying to explain, but gave up almost immediately and tried to think of a new topic. "So, um..." He started... than suddenly thought of a topic. "um... Do you have to share your room here?" He hoped that this very week attempt to distract people wouldn't be too obvious.

Shanti shrugged and watched Care still. "Don't know...hope not..." She thought back to her previous years at the school, when she did have room mates. The teasing really didn't bother her anymore but it did get annoying.

Shanti welcomed the silence as the conversation came to a halt. Crossing her arms in front of her on the table she rested her head on them and glanced at Care's wings again. "Pretty..." She spoke even softer than before and then began to hum again.

Care turned beat red when he heard Shanti call him pretty. He froze in place and prayed for something to break the silence before he had to respond.Headmistress Mylin walked to the poteum slowly, holding her arms up for silence upon arrival. "Good morning students" She said, "and welcome to Terathayn orientation." Mylin looked on at the new class proudly. "You have all come here to learn and grow. You have all gotten your book and clothing lists and you are expected to already have these things. In addition, you should already have your class schedule, room assignment and rule book. I hope that we can have a happy and healthy year. So everyone please fallow all of the rules.
"I do have two major announcements before we begin the feast and you are able to talk with and chat with your new school mates. One, our first field trip will be to Dunderson, the town just to the south of us for shopping. I know that some of you have probably forgotten some things at home and will need to buy them. And Two, our flying class will not be held as scheduled. I'm sad to announce that we have as of yet been unable to find anyone to teach the class. The rest of the classes will be taught by me.
"Now, buffets are being provided at the sides of the hall." Points to the tables set up at either side, filled with food. "So go ahead and eat and get to know some of your classmates. If anyone has any questions than please see me in my chambers ((PM me)) and I will be more than happy to help you out. Bonappetit."
