Headmistress Mylin walked to the poteum slowly, holding her arms up for
silence upon arrival. "Good morning students" She said, "and welcome to
Terathayn orientation." Mylin looked on at the new class proudly. "You
have all come here to learn and grow. You have all gotten your book and
clothing lists and you are expected to already have these things. In
addition, you should already have your class schedule, room assignment
and rule book. I hope that we can have a happy and healthy year. So
everyone please fallow all of the rules.
"I do have two major announcements before we begin the feast and you
are able to talk with and chat with your new school mates. One, our first
field trip will be to Dunderson, the town just to the south of us for
shopping. I know that some of you have probably forgotten some things
at home and will need to buy them. And Two, our flying class will not be
held as scheduled. I'm sad to announce that we have as of yet been
unable to find anyone to teach the class. The rest of the classes will be
taught by me.
"Now, buffets are being provided at the sides of the hall." Points to the
tables set up at either side, filled with food. "So go ahead and eat and get
to know some of your classmates. If anyone has any questions than
please see me in my chambers ((PM me)) and I
will be more than happy to help you out. Bonappetit."

Okay, I could go on for chapters about the history but you don't want to
hear it so I'm going to write a very condensed version and if you need to
know more about a curtain part for like character creation or something
like that than feel free to ask me for it. Be specific about what you want
though.
This world springs from the world of Sintura.
If you read the history of Sintura than you need to know that by this time
most of the Katras were half breed, so the Katras let the half breeds into
they're society and pretty soon there were very few full Katras left.
Meaning most of them looked like humans with cat ears and tail. Also,
house cat type of markings/Colorings began to arise.
There were Katras, Kaynines and humans on the ground and far up in the
mountains there were bird people called the Absaroka. The Absaroka
generally lived in piece with the others but than the Kaynines, looking for
somewhere to hide from the assaulting armies of the Katras, fled into
Absaroka land. The Absaroka slaughtered the Kaynines from one side
and the Katras from the other, unknowingly slaughtering an entire
species.
Many of the Katras and Absarokas went home, but some stayed to bury
the dead, feeling that it was the only thing that they could do to help those
that they destroyed. It took years to bury each Kaynine in his own grave,
which is how Kaynine's bury they're dead. During this 16 years that the
Katras and Absarokas were together many fell in love and pared off in
mating couples, and creating the first Winged Katras this world had ever
seen. When they're work was almost done they realized what would
happen if they went home, taking these children with them. Such love
was forbidden. Some found others to watch they're young, some simply
abandoned they're children and others hid away, raising they're babies
themselves. But they all agreed that a school would be made by the
midwife, Enlain Mylin, and when the children were old enough they would
go to the school and learn how to live in this world.
This is the story of that School.

To here Terathayn pronounced, click the play button above the girls head
The school of Terathayn is comprised of three domes raises far above the
clouds on steal support beams. The two smaller domes are the sleeping
domiciles for the children. One male and one female. Each of these
domiciles has a main room with games and couches and off of that there
are small bedrooms with two beds in each of them. There is also a large
group shower and bathroom. The domiciles are connected to the main
dome by wooden bridges... the children after a while at the school are
expected to learn how to fly so they no longer have to use the bridges.
The bottom level of the main dome of Terathayn is the classrooms. Each
classroom has a door that leads to a work room, which leads to a bed
room for the teacher. All children take the same classes, but they're busy
work and home work are of different levels.
The middle floor of the dome has a large meeting room and four play
rooms off of the main hallway that spans around the entire meeting
room.
The top room is a lush forest comprised in a glass dome. The children are
welcome to try they're flying out here or just meander around the small
forest. There is a very small swimming hole and fishing hole in the forest
to keep the kids busy.
Only the very advanced students are allowed to fly outside the domed
forest. And they must have permission from they're flight instructor and
must pass a flight test.
Bellow Terathayn is a forest and mountain ranges. Some parents come to
see they're children there, though this is not allowed. Also some children
sneak out against the rules, though they almost always get caught on
they're arrival back at Terathayn.
Any teacher can institute a field trip by asking the headmistress if they
can have one. To find the headmistress all one has to do is ask someone
else where they think she is and she will almost always appear. The field
trips should be appropriate for either the teacher's classes or the teachers
extra curricular activities. Very seldomly the headmistress will take the
kids on a field trip to either a Katra or a Absaroka city.
When the children attend classes or field trips they are to wear they're
school uniforms. They must have all items when they come to school but
they only need to wear the ones they like... but they must wear a shirt
and either pants, shorts or skirt at all times.

You may have your OC disobey the rules so long as you realized that you'll
prolly get caught. If a teacher catches you than don't God Mod and say that
you got away... no sorry, if a teacher decides to catch you than you're
caught and will be brought to the Headmistress for punishment.
1. No moving around the school at night.
2. No doing or saying anything disrespectful to teachers.
3. No going outside the school without permission.
4. No flying about the corridors.
5. Do and hand in all of your homework on time.
6. If you don't get good enough grades than your extra curricular activities
will be suspended.
7. Wear school uniforms to classes and field trips.
8. Children can exchange rooms only if they ask the Headmistress's
permission and they have a ligament reason.
9. If you need to switch rooms you can PM the headmistress with valid
reasons and she might change your room.

Personality: Enlain is a very genteel women. But she believes that
every child should learn they're place and learn the rules, and so she
punishes harshly at times. Many adore her and many hate her. She also
has a sort of sensual grace that not many possess.
History: Enlain was born near the edge of the forbidden labyrinth
and so had a very harsh life. She is one of the few remaining full bread
Katras and sometimes sees half breeds as below her notice. At first she
was very upset when she found that that Katras were breeding with the
Absaroka, but when the first child came her heart softened and she
became midwife to all those who bore Winged Katras, for she always
loved children. She spent 10 years building a place for these babies to
live... building and earning money to have others build, and now it is
finally time, she will finally see the little Winged Katras run through the
halls happily and freely because of her.

in Terathayn. He is also extremely protective of those he cares for and

History: Care was raised by his loving mother in the Angies Forest,
home to Absaroka. His father was loving to his mother but distant to
him. Care's father died nearly a year before school. He grew up with
very few friends because of his race but did eventually gain one good
friend, who went to a different school when the boys turned 14. Care
misses his best friend and his mother terribly.

that she wouldn't be as crazy as some of her other siblings and sent her
