ALRIGHT! I have an article about Nearly Headless Nick, but I can't remember who sent it, and I guess I've deteted the PM somehow. Sorry, but if the person who has sent it could PM me or post or something, it would be greatly apreciated.

I'd like to write, I need the practice (and exercise! xp ). I was thinking of writing sort of a luna-ish article, on different mythic creatures? Would that be alright? I'll try and make sure they're not from out of Mythic Beasts and Where to Find Them, though.

*~*UPDATE ON ISSUE #1!*~*
MUST READ ALL OF THIS IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE HOGWARTS WEEKLY STAFF!!!no, seriously, no joke, you [Ibetter read this damn thing, this took foreverSo...I feel terrible...but I may or may not get to the issue tonight...I have TONS of homework and my best friend convinced me to buy a ticket for Winter Formal on the 22nd...and (I hope) we all know that this actually quite a last minute decission, because most things are done through appointments and there's always the possibility of finding the perfect dress except that it just happens to need to be altared in one way or another...so I've been out getting a dress and finding appointments because I know that there's no hope doing my hair on my own...it's REALLY long...and I'm useless putting make-up on for anything that isn't a color guard preformance... eek stressed *shivers at the thought of being dressed up with these big ole' stage-make-up-looking things where my eyes should be*...
ANYWAYS, I'm sorry, but I have no clue if I'll be able to post the Issue this weekend...if I can find the time, I'll post it tomorrow, but I warn you it'll be late at night...I have a band field trip... SO, keep on writing! I currently have 3 articles from my writers; an interview w/nearly-headless-nick, a start of term wellcome, and a piece on Quidditch teams around the world. (contact me if you'd like to make sure you're the author of one of those, or if I've forgotten something) Then I've written a piece on last term's prefects and professors (the ones from before the guild became official), an interview with our guild leader, and I'm currently working (in my spare time) on a breif intro for the Paper.
So, wish me luck! heart I deffinately wish I were working on this stuff instead, trust me. 3nodding And in the mean-time, just keep writing! biggrin (I've found it's very entertaining when no one is around to chat)

So I urge you to type your work up in a WORD DOCUMENT, or what ever word processor or computer note pad you can save things on. That way, you wont have to type things up 10 million times, nor will you loose your hard work if you just typed it from your head. They don't take up alot of space on the hard drive (I have a laptop for BoB's sake, and I have at least 30 or 40 word documents of all sizes, along with hundreds of HP pics for my banners and what not) Plus, if you save it; you can always delete it from your computer as soon as you know I have it. I admit that I am human and sometimes delete things I haven't copied into my own word documents yet. (I get alot of PMs, you see, and need to make room for the ones) So I've been doing this especially, since I can't save any of my PMs; if I could, I'd definately save all letters of great importance like that. 3nodding So, since I can't save them on Gaia... SAVE YOUR ARTICLES ON YOUR COMPUTERS UNTIL I'VE SAID I HAVE THEM!!! This is for your own sainity more than anyone elses.

I'd like to write for the paper. I suppose for the second issue since it seems you've gotten your quota for the first? After finals this coming week I'll have less pressure of my back, and I'll probablybe exceedingly bored. I was thinking I could write about contests/contest/competitions ideas (because, as far as I know we only have the recruitment one going on now and the house points competition...) and/or perhaps a member spotlight (I read you have an interview of our guild founder, maybe I could continue that with an interview with a different deserving member in upcoming issues?).
