AnimeDude360 Ok I got one. Let say Superman vs Batman, at Nintendo. Take a normal SNES and have Superman and Batman play each other at these four games. Super Street Fighter 2 Tetris F-Zero Super Mario Brothers 1 (Who can beat the ENTIRE game the fastest with the most coins etc) Each is give one earth hour prep time to play and pratice any one of the four games as many times as they like. Normal settings on all games with the same amount of tries, lives, continues etc. for both. No cheat codes. I see Batman dominating the feild. I takes on the likes of Riddler and other brain-bending villians, so I dont see him having much trouble with a few video games. I'd still like some opinions on this little bout. I think it is an actually way for Batman to "beat" Superman.

XmasTree I'm just wondering, what the hell was the point of this thread? Why did you even have to bring this up? Yeah, youre right, people NEVER talk about Superman vs Batman, and it WOULDNT BE HELPFUL AT ALL to have a list of feats and reasons why one would win over the other. Information is bad for you. Quote: I have Hush in front of me. I'm staring at the page where Superman has a car in his hand, about to throw it at Batman. You know what? I'd say Batman did very well in that fight. By having Catwoman threaten Lois's life he got Supes out of Ivy's mind control and ended Supes's rampage. And at the end, Batman is NOT on his back. He's standing, alert and ready. I'm sick and tired of people saying that Superman thrashed Batman in the Hush fight, because he DIDN'T. While I realize that Superman, if he didn't come out of the mind control, would have won, that didn't happen. Hush was Batman's best showing against Superman, and all Batman managed to do was survive against a Superman trying hard not to fight. Yet people think Batman can outright own Superman. Thats why it gets brought up. Quote: And I am so sick and ******** tired of threads like these. All they do is create opportunity to badmouth Batman, who is one of my favorite characters in comics. So no more vs threads should be created, because a character will lose, and that character is somebody's favorite character. Gotcha. Ill try not to step on anybody else's toes. rolleyes

Jerhien Kyles mad because a lot of people run around thinking that bats can beat supes, when it juat ain't so...so he thought it'd be helpful to vent out his pent up frustration from all the idiots in the AMC who run around going "ZOMG!!!!1111one!!! BATS RockZ!" instead of being smart about it. Of course batman can't win, but a lot of people think he can. This entire run-on sentence is a lie. Im not mad, I didnt make a thread bashing anybody in AMC or because I was mad at them, and I think all my posts here on the subject have been very informative.

Jerhien I too think batman is getting a shitty treatment by a lot of the gaia regulars lately I dont, we give credit where credit is due. Batman is a GREAT detective, in the top 20 martial artists, in the top 10 combat fighters, and is a good strategist, except he needs to learn to hide his plans better. However, Batman is not in Superman's league, like was said, its a one-sided fight. You want to see bad treatment, look what the writer's have done to your favorite character. Now he has a two dimensional personality. One, haunted by Jason Todd, and two, resident untrusting a*****e. He got punched out by Hal Jordan, and talked down to by John Stewart. Id mention the mooning by Guy, but thats Guy, and its funny. DC has been shitting on Batman lately, not us.

I suppose I should have said frustrated. I don;t think the thread was a bad thing, just that it was a reaction to the unfounded claims of so many bat fans.

I don't actually like batman all that much, just the graphic novels. I just dislike superman more.

I'd just like to point out that I'm sorry I got so worked up. It was a result of stress buildup combined with my anger problem (which I am working on). So Kyle, I apologize. Kyle_Rayner Hush was Batman's best showing against Superman, and all Batman managed to do was survive against a Superman trying hard not to fight. Yet people think Batman can outright own Superman. Thats why it gets brought up. I realize that Batman didn't win in that fight, and what you say is true: all he did was survive. What I'm saying is that people always talk about this incident like Superman absolutely thrashed Batman (or at least that's the impression I get), and I don't think it worked out like that. I think that Batman did a very good job of stalling Superman, and helping Supes get out of his mind control (I say helping because I'm sure Superman did most of the work in his head). Kyle_Rayner So no more vs threads should be created, because a character will lose, and that character is somebody's favorite character. Gotcha. Ill try not to step on anybody else's toes. rolleyes Again, stress + anger = scream

I dont like or dislike Batman, Superman, or Wolverine, I give them the respect(?) they deserve. Im a Green Lantern fan at heart, and I think a full-potential GL could take all of them. xd

The GL was the coolest thing DC ever did in my opinion. Yeah I think Hal could if he was at his full potential. Those rings are pretty damn scary.. Kyle, what do you think about the GL corp coming back? I'm not so keen on it, the whole storyline when they died was kind of cool, feels like they just want to rehash.

I just went out and bought both volumes of hush. Batman lured superman somewhere he couldn't create fiction heat, and knowing that superman wouldn't use super speed he beat the PISS out of him. Batman is one bad man for even thinking about fighting supes in H2H...and he was far outclassing him at mortal speeds. As for the fight ending with batman holding a car over his head? That fight was a victory for batman...he accomplished exactly what he set out to do and never got hit. He wasn't actually trying to win, just to stall him and set up a situation that would make him run off.

XmasTree This is so incredibly one-sided that it's not funny. XMas also pointed out in that same post that we all know Superman would have won without the mind control. Anyway, we already know that if Superman was fighting at full potential, not holding back and/or ignoring his powers, Batman is outclassed. Do you? See the "Sacrifice" arc for reference, even though Superman is STILL holding back, luckily for Bruce.
