Malik heard her thank you but continued to his room. Once inside, he locked the door and sat on the ground. He had to get back to his plans on how to get the Millennium Puzzle. With it, he would be free from his destiny and start his own destined path. Yes, with the puzzle his and the Pharoah gone, he would be free at last. But in order to take it, he needs to win it from him. All of the mindless droids he sent to go after Yugi and the Pharoah have all failed him. That's why he was here, to do it himself. He had to come up with a shadow game- one that he could win. Marik whispered words of madness in his ears- taunting him and messing with him. He reminded him of Amitse and to use her, he ignored him as best as he could. Marik was still week from before, so it had little toll on Malik right now. He didn't want Amitse to get involved with this- he knew what Marik would do if she was around or worse, obtained the puzzle. He would send her to a place of hell- even worse then here. The shadow realm finds your weaknesses and multiplies the pain ten fold. At least, that would be where he would send her- nothing will stand in Marik's way to get the item.

Akiko walked home, thinking about everything that just happened. Why did she go and do that? She felt her actions were out of line and just plain weird. But, she was nervous. So she just blurted out what ever was on her mind- and that was that if he liked her, he should ask her for a date. But then she just walked away? She rubbed her head a bit- she could act so strange sometimes. She made her way to her room and layed on her bed. She rubbed her orb a bit and closed her eyes. She was thinking of his color. Akiko had this thing, a talent perhaps- of guessing people's true personalities. She then identified them as colors. Everyone had a different color and motion to that color. Yugi's was very unique indeed. She saw two (which just strengthened her new belief that there are two souls in him) different colors. Yugi's is a light sky blue, swirling like clouds in the wind. She smiled to herself, it was an innocent and pleasent color. When he switched, it was still blue but darker- a bit darker then a royal blue. It did not swirl, it was still. The blue still showed kind nature, but stronger and more stable. Akiko rolled on her back and looked at the ceiling. Who was the woman he spoke of and why does she look like her so much? Perhaps reincarnation? Akiko wasn't sure what happened after life ends for somebody, anything was possible perhaps. But, that woman's soul is passed and his was not. Maybe that's why she saw her so much, was she trying to reach out to her? Akiko rolled on her side, she wasn't sure. She just hoped for the best for the both of them. She dozed off in her bed.

Malik stood up and put his bag away. He also unlocked his door, realizing he had no reason to lock it. He took the millennium rod off of him and placed it down. He needed to relax as well. A quick shower for himself would do the trick. He took his clothes off and jumped in. He just let the water run down his body, from head to toe. Closing his eyes, he put his mind at rest. There were two things in this world that made him calm: his dreams and water. He did not lock his door, nobody would bother to come in nor dare to. He fell into a silent meditation as dropplets bounced off of him and streams of water ran down him.

Akiko shot her eyes open. It had been an hour since she got home. She pushed herself up and rubbed her face. She really should get ready for bed and actually get under the covers. She did just that- she changed into pajamas, a Tshirt and pj shorts. She would take a shower in the morning she decided. Akiko pulled the covers back and turned the lights off. Crawling into bed, she snuggled her stuffed animal fox. She did not shut her eyes, she continued where she left off on her thoughts- keeping her up.

Akiko continually hit her snooze button, she was not one for mornings. After a few times of hitting it, she looked over to see it was 11:00am. She stared at it for a while, not understanding. It then hit her. "s**t!" she said as she jumped out of her bed. She had only an hour to get ready! She ran to the bathroom to shower. She cleaned herself as quickly as possible. She then stopped, "I don't even know if he is coming." She laughed at herself for getting all worked up over something that may not even happen. She finished her shower and came out. After drying herself off a bit, she returned to her room to look for something to wear. She really believe he wasn't coming.

Malik also woke up early. He changed and did his daily routine. He strapped the millennium rod to his back and left his room- this time locking it so nobody could take anything of his. He walked down to get something to eat. He had an idea on how to win the puzzle from Yugi. After breakfast he would get the items needed.

Malik saw Amitse from the corner of his eyes. She had her bag with her- why? He approached her and raised his eye brow. "Where are you going?" he asked.

She stared blankly at her wordrobe. She figured she would amuse herself and wear something decent and nice- rather then her tomboyish clothing. She skimmed through her clothing and saw an orange sun dress that went to her knees. "Sure, why not," she said to herself. She would change out of it in an hour or so (or so she thought XD ). She changed into it and started brushing her hair. She did not bother to put makeup on- not because of her doubt but because she did not like it. By now, it was 11:45am. She had enough time to eat before she could officially wait. She walked to the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal, then brought it to the living room where she could wait and eat at the same time.

Malik stared at her, his facial expression didn't change. "And?" he said. He had a feeling that she didn't want his offer of staying at this hotel anymore. "You'll bring back your stuff and bring it back here, right?" he said inbetween asking and demanding.

When Akiko heard the door knock, she looked at the clock and saw it wasn't quite noon yet. Ok, probably not him yet or at all- at least she thought. She just finished her cereal and she put the bowl down. She walked up to the door, automatically fixing her hair even though she doubted. She opened the door.

"You won't," he said in a slightly rough tone but only because he didn't want her to leave. "So come back," he ordered. Even though he was doing this for her, he had a bad way of showing it.

Akiko jumped back a bit when she saw it was Yugi. "You.... you actually came?" she exclaimed slightly. So.... he did like her? She blushed dramatically, but smiled a lot. She couldn't even hide her smile. "Oh ah, it's ok....." she said shyly. She blushed even more when he said she looked beautiful. She put her hands to stomach level and held them, something she did when nervous. "Thank you," she said looking down. She snapped out of it and said, "Oh! Ah, d-do you want to come in?" she said realizing they were just standing in the door way.

What was her problem!? Did she not want a secure place to stay?! "Fine! Whatever!" he said but only after she was out the door. Jeez, were all women this complicated? Nevermind, if she didn't want his help then he wasn't going to bother. He noticed that everyone was staring at him. He growled then outbursted, "What are you all staring at!?" They went on to their own business afterwards. Malik went over his ideas again. He had a good shadow game in store for the Pharoah. He left the hotel and went off to try and track him down.

[[I was thinking Malik could involve Akiko in the shadow game. Then while that is happening, maybe Bakura can go after Amitse since he is trying to get all the items and Malik just wants the puzzle. Then maybe Malik could go after Amitse when she is in trouble- like he senses her or something. I dunno, what do you think? Oh and sorry this took so long. I really couldn't think of a good shadow game till recently.]]

Akiko thought for a moment- she didn't really know since she too never went on a date. Her thoughts stopped when she heard familiar 'barks' from the distance. She looked over to see her black lab dog wagging her tail and barking at Yugi. Her dog was very friendly, but excitable. She barked because she saw a new person to sniff and play with. Her dog came running and hopped around Yugi. "Oh yea! This is my dog, Spirit! She's a big ol' tank," she said grabbing her collar and pulling her away. "No! No jumping! Leave him alone," she said though the dog didn't listen. [[heh heh, I had to incorporate my dog into this as I usually do with Akiko in other RPs ^____^ ]]
